Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei 4

This episode: seeing the fun continue^^
Okay. This convinced me, because this episode was also so funny that it became one of my favourite shows at the moment. So of course, I’m going to blog it. Every episode I think that they can’t get any worse with the cases and every time, they surpass themselvesXD. We also have a new OP, with a lot of weird images, but still. We are talking about Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei.^^

After the hikikomori, the stalker, the illegal foreigner, the schizofrenic foreigner, the perfectionist and the optimist this episode focusses on two new girls. The first one is Abiru, is always covered in bruises. There is a rumor that she is been beaten up by her father and it’s the job of the Pink Supervisor to go talk with her father. But of course, he has a bit of weird fantasies and ends up telling a whole shopping district that everything this man buys, he is going to use on his daughter. Including an eraser. Pink Supervisor freaks out and apologizes without even introducing himself to this father. And that’s the case ^^
Of course we all know that this girl isn’t a victim of DV. I originally thought that she was in a gang and was beaten up and was really agressive. I was terribly wrong.^^
We find out why this girl is always in bruises when Pink Supervisor is going to the zoo and sees Fuura in the cage of the tiger. She fell in, bumped her head, and faced a tiger. But no need to worry! Buddha was made a god when he was eaten by a hungry tiger so it was alright. In her next life, Fuura would be a god. Her optimistic thinking can really be praised in situations like this.^^
Weirdly enough, she is saved by Abiru, and we get the truth from her: She loves animals so much that she always want to pull their tails and that’s why she’s covered in bruises. ^^ Idiot. She even wanted to add a tail to Pink Supervisor and pulled that one too. And that’s another one who has fallen in love with him. He sure is popular^^

Second girl: Meru. You know, the girl that is always with her mobile and with the nice sentence: "Mairu mairu". She looks really sweet on the outside. She is a poor talker, she doesn’t talk, only beside sms. And that’s why Pink Supervisor decides to treat her like something special. And he warned the whole class that you musn’t speak for a whole week because when you do that, your voice dies out. Gosh. I wonder what happened. Anyway. Pink Supervisor sent a sms to Meru, "Konnichiwa", and this was her reply: "Moron. You’re annoying. Don’t wear that creepy-looking kimono." And after that, she starts to abuse everyone in the class through her cellphone.^^ Pink Supervisor is in shock because she acts properly in the class and he can’t get mad at her but the fun continues.^^
"The internet has left me in despair!" The blond foreigner girl starts a conversation with her, but she is terribly beaten.^^
Meru has also some nice tricks behind her sleeve. Like spam mail, and a whole set of new batteries. The remark that Pink Supervisor made if she was Rambo, was really funny^^ Fuura’s seat was out of range. So Pink Supervisor thought of something clever: Fuura and Meru should change seats. But Meru was a bit dangerous when she couldn’t mail anymore.^^ And Fuura knocked her out with a giant cross.^^ And her cellphone broke.

Fuura had another brilliant attempt to talk to her through her eyes and thought that Meru wanted to be friends with her. Meru, on the other side, thought that Fuura was going to kill her.^^ And that’s how we end this episode, after a nice little dance on the schoolroof, probably a parody to some kind of religion.
This anime is even greater than Pani Poni Dash^^

First Impression: Potemayo

Although I’m a bit late, I considered that I would make also a post about Potemayo, because I found it so interesting that I couldn’t resist. I’ve already heard that this anime can be hilarious, and finally I have found some time to watch it and surely, I wasn’t dissapointed at all.

This is such dry humor that I don’t see often in anime. Potemayo is a creature that was in the fridge of our main character and he didn’t even bother to ask himself how on earth that creature came in his fridge but simply named her Potemayo. She is a creature that can’t speak but she is adorably cute, and very protective of her owner. And she has a short temper. I think she looks just like an animal, a parot but only in a manmal form.^^ If you can understand what I mean.
And the fun is even greater when another of those creatures comes by with an enormous axe, that cuts down doors and after that repairs them with tape.XD How dry can you get?

There are only two little problems with this anime. For once, I think the creators tried to make Potemayo too cute. And some times, she really is cute. But she can also be too much, and I can’t handle too cute things very well. Anyway. I hope I can get used to it, because I’m going to watch this anime for sure. The second problem with this anime is the girl that is in love with our main character. It is just too corny and I was only pleased to see Potemayo beating her up because she was really a nuisance. But still I have my hopes high for this anime. I’m sorry for this really, really, really late post but I have some problems finding enough spare time. Gomenesai.

First Impression: Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei

What a fun anime! It gives just the same atmosphere as Pani Poni Dash, but only with an "ordinary class" instead of a class with all kinds of weird characters. This anime is made from the same creators as Pani Poni Dash, and I happened to love Pani Poni Dash so I guess I can sit through to this one. This anime is once again about a class, with a weird teacher. Where Becky was the tensai the last time, we now have a dude who constantly wants to commit suicide.

That is a nice combination. He is hilarious in the class because one of his classgirls is such a positivist that I can’t believe that such persons really exist. She even said when her parents wanted to commit suicide, they just wanted to be taller. If you look at it, that way, this anime can become hilarious. I also really like the nickname that this teacher has received from Fuura. "Pink Supervisor". ^^. Also it’s kind of logical that he is this person, because if you write his name horizontally you get the word "Zetsubo", which means despair. Also, I’m a person who loves contrasts. A suicidal attempt in a beautiful happy surrounding, how nice^^.

The art is really something different, it’s really refreshing in a way. Same for the animation. We all see kinds of sentences through the anime, but it remains funny. The OP is something that I can really can get addicted to. I’m going to stay with this one.^^.

PS: This blog is going to be put on a short hiatus. I’m going to enjoy some holiday. I’ll be back by the 27th of July. See you then again!

Yamato Nadeshiko Shigi Henge 9

This episode: seeing that Ranmaru isn’t afraid to flirt with women that are already married, seeing the bunch being invited to a hotspring because of the flirtingskills of Ranmaru, seeing Sunako being kidnapped once again by Noi, Ranmaru being serious for the first time, a desperate Noi, an evil Kyouhei, the weirdest game of pingpong ever with the weirdest ending ever^^ and a real cliffhanger.
And we learn this episode how to play pingpong as a lady.

We already know that Ranmaru has a million of girlfriends. This time he succeeded in hooking a hostress from a hot spa, and this woman likes him so much that she decides to invite him and all of his friends to the hotel. Everyone is really happy about it and go scream stuff like "Viva la Okami!". Even Sunako because she thought that she would be alone for the whole weekend. But guess again. Noi wanted to come along too, and she kidnapped Sunako and tied her to her seat in the train. She is really crazy about Takenaga to do something so drastically, isn’t she? Talking about Takenaga, Kyouhei wasn’t going to let Noi and Takenaga being alone so he was quite annoying. Meanwhile, the others of the bunch are really shocked because Ranmaru is serious for the first time and they even thought he was going to die. That was so funny to see. I love all those weird characters of this anime.

They arrive at the hot spring. And once again everyone is astoned by the flirting skills of Ranmaru because he hooked a really fine looking charming woman this time who looks that she can have any man she wants. You only wonder who seducted who, right? Ranmaru has found his equal, only in the other sexe. Of course, Sunako is being seen as a ghost once again, and it remains funny to hear the bunch say that that ghost probably is human and it was probably theirs.^^
Ranmaru is still worried about his new love and wants to hold a dramatic monologue, but everyone just shouts through him. That is the art of Yamato Nadeshiko Shigi Henge. The voice actors are constantly shouting. And in a way that it really becomes hilarious.^^ And after some shouting, the bunch goes to take a bath.

Noi asks Sunako if she can be with Kyouhei for a while because Noi wants to be with Takenaga. No way, Sunako thinks. Of course. She’ll melt before she can really be alone with him, to do some lovey-dovey stuff and things like that.^^ The best argument that Noi can give is that once she becomes Takenagas girlfriend, she will move into the house and will take all the choirs. Sunako only hears that she might never has to leave her room again. So they have a deal.

Sunako has to work up her courage. She has to be with the dazzling creature, with the fear that she might melt. But she can gain eternal solitude. Which one is more important? The eternal solitude. Of course. She eats between the dazzling creatures, with the thought that they are going to sleep afterwords. But Kyouhei shows her that he can be really cruel, because he wants to play pingpong. But his tactic, it remains cruel.^^ Because of that cruel action, Sunako is at her limit and wants to go home. Kyouhei challenges her for a match. HE has the key for the locker, with inside the money for the train. And the weirdest and firest game of playing pingpong begins. It is great to see those weird names^^ Sunako and Kyouhei give everything they’ve got and meanwhile, Ranmaru is called by his girlfriend and goes away. After that, Sunako and Kyouhei are exhausted and they can’t decide who had won the game. Yuki didn’t know either because they were moving so fast he couldn’t see. Just at the moment that Sunako and Kyouhei were going to give up, Sunako sees Takenaga and Noi with a romantic atmosphere and she feels guilty because Noi is so desperate to become Takenagas girlfriend. And they continue the ping pong game. But still. Hearing someone shouting "Catastrophe Overdrive", it’s hilarious.

The match almost comes to an end, but in such a weird way that it’s inexplainable. So I suggest that everyone lookes at these images instead:

They kissed. By accident. After that, of course Sunako faints and has a nose bleed and goes into denial. The husband of the Okami comes by as well and Noi and Takenaga feel sorry for him because their friend is after his wife. It’s indeed a bit cruel. Kyouhei took care of Sunako so Takenaga and Noi were finally alone. And just when they would develop their relationship, Yuki ruined it so they went to play karaoke.^^
When Sunako came by, Kyouhei complimented her with her good work and said that Noi had a hard time because her partner is such a stiff guy. Kyouhei and Sunako have a moment untill the cliffhanger comes. The manager is death! And Ranmaru runs away! Noooo..
See you next time.^^ And sorry. I went a bit overboard with the pictures (I told myself that I wouldn’t be doing more then 6, but well. I guess I can’t.^^)

Yamato Nadeshiko Shigi Henge 8

This episode: Seeing people sparkle about how to eat hamburgers, seeing a shopping district holding a festival because they believe that Sunako and Kyouhei are a couple, seeing the fans ruin everything, seeing the guys "working" in a restaurant, and seeing both Kyouhei and Sunako with a kind of conscience.
And we learn this time how to behave in a restaurant when you are eating something French.

Sunako is still worried about her new life style. She just wants to life with the dazzling creatures without talking and being with them, but they are making her doing all the choirs (why shouldn’t they? They suck at it) and she can’t have her peace. At the dinner, Ranmaru told them that Oba-chan had some good news for them. They can work at a friends restaurant with a high pay per hour. Sunako thinks that they should go, but Kyouhei still insisted that she has to cook for them. With some quarrel, he also decided that the next day they would have nabe for dinner at a kotatsu (a Japanese low table). Since there is no kotatsu in the mansion, Sunako has to buy that one as well. Kyouhei just wants that because he wants to be the Nabe Shogun, the one who will decide who eats what. It looked really weird.^^

The next day, Kyouhei goes along with Sunako for the shopping. But everyone in the shopping centre thinks that he is her boyfriend and that Kyouhei is in fact a celebrity. They are so happy for Sunako that they give her all kinds for free. Kyouhei wonders if Sunako did something weird there, but she just buys groceries there.^^ The rumor spreads all over the shopping centre. I really had to laugh about that one. That the scary girl is walking with Mr. Mori High School. They are so happy that they even start a "Scary girl has a boyfriend" sale.^^ Everyone offers really expensive stuff to Kyouhei and because he didn’t know how to do shopping, he buys it all and they are completly broke. Sunako can’t help it because she fainted once again by the dazzling sparkles of happy Kyouhei.^^

At that moment that Sunako is scolding Kyouhei, a family walks by and talks about sukiyaki. And Kyouhei says with a smile that things like that are really nice. And his fans discover him and start to play a game with the groceries Sunako bought and it was all wasted. And Sunako is once again so pissed that she is in cool mode once again and said that she knew that this was going to happen. And she left.

And the guys are going to work. Because they are so goodlooking, they aren’t working in the kitchen but have to serve costumers. They all aren’t really good at that, but they will have to keep up with it. So they do and after a long day of work they can eat all they want in the kitchen. Takenaga tries to talk Kyouhei into a conscience and his attempt succeeds. Sunako meanwhile is eating in her room and feels guilty as well because Kyouhei really has something with happy little families. Later in the episode, Takenaga tells her that a lot was going on with Kyouheis family. So he hasn’t happy little family moments. And suddenly Kyouhei is in her room and tries to steal her food! That really pisses her off, of course. She hears the story of the guys and decides to go out for shopping: to make a kotatsu. That was really sweet of her. Dnd for the stuff for the nabe? She gets that for free, because they had a lot of customers the other day. ^^ Guess how that came.  Kyouhei was meanwhile working for the veggies and hears a nice story about Sunako when she is out for shopping.

Kyouhei discovers Sunako beneath a kotatsu she was carrying home and they have a nice moment because Kyouhei discovers that she made kotatsu herself and she discovers that he has worked too. They get home late and finally with the whole mob of friends they eat nabe. And: Sunako loves to cook. For some reason.^^
This episode wasn’t the best one, but still. I can’t get myself to critisize this anime.

Yamato Nadeshiko Shigi Henge 7

This episode: seeing a great view of a scared Yuki^^, a bad ass guy who fell in love with Sunako, seeing people being scared of an anatomy model and accidentally kidnap it, woman emancipation, a major kidnap and of course a day to be saved.
And we learn this episode that it is not okay to eat flowers when you got them from a beautiful boy. Damn it.^^

This was also a great laugh. We have a guy, who is the boss of some mob (the National Boss Association^^), and they try to rule the city. But they have heard that the city was ruled by the strongest men Kyouhei, so this bad ass dude tried to beat him. They go to his school and go stand in the way of the students and that way they meet Sunako who is fascinated by a knock-out teacher. And the Boss fell for her. But Noi said the moment after that Sunako already has Kyouhei and that really upset him.^^  But Kyouhei wasn’t really interested. In fact, he had to laugh because Sunako was called a beauty. And he just walked away.^^

At home, the guys are talking about the day. They are really suprised because someone fell for Sunako and think that love can change a woman and they hope that she will become a lady after that. They are talking a bit, until the fact remains that this Boss and Sunako make a real weird couple and the house shakes with laughter once again. Sunako walks by with Hiroshi and apperantly, she takes her baths with him. They are really close, in a scary way… The bunch of the Boss are meanwhile watching and they report it to the Boss who is well.. in one way also really scary.^^ And he can’t tolerate it!

So what do you do? You ask your underlings to kidnap the girl you love. That is the "perfect" plan. So these guys go the next morning to Sunako and she is waxing Hiroshi, Akira and Josephine. A bit scary. Especially when she says: "your insides are so pretty"… The guys don’t have the guts anymore and they are quarreling about who is going to kidnap her. But she already saw them and asks with Hiroshis inside in her hand of something is wrong. They run away, but they accidentally kidnap Hiroshi. And Sunako runs after it.

Meanwhile, Noi is all giddly because she goes on a date with Takenaga. But they are only going to the libary so she is trying to think of a good seduction skill. That was so funny to see! Even with the melody and her little song. When she finally found it, she was so happy and one second later knocked over by a hyperactive Sunako. Sunako is just in time to save her beloved Hiroshi-kun from being burned, but she has to take over the part of the hostage. Unfortunally. She surrenders. Luckily for her that Noi saw everything and reported it to the guys. She was afraid that the boss would harras Sunako and she was really worried. Kyouhei said that Sunako was going to be fine, and he laughed about the idea. Noi got so angry that she slapped him in the face. And she ran off to save her. Yuki, Ranmaru and Takenaga followed her. Kyouhei thought that everyone was overreacting.

They ran to the house where the Boss was and demanded that he would release Sunako, who had been buried into flowers. Boss said that he would release her only if Kyouhei would come. And because he didn’t come, all of the bunch became hostages. Because none of them really can fight like Kyouhei or Sunako, they didn’t stand a chance. Noi was also in trouble because she was just a pretty girl among a lot of thug, but luckily for her Takenaga saved her. That was so sweet.^^ The only problem was that he was beaten instead. But right on time, Kyouhei arrived and started to kick some ass.^^ Yatta!

But. He was beaten really badly when the bunch threatened to harm Sunako. Of course we know what happens after that. Sunako gets into the "cool-evil-destructing-mode" and well… Nobody can stop her after that.^^ I liked the ending, it felt really warm. How more I see of Yamato Nadeshiko Shigi Henge, how more I’m beginning to like it. So from now on! More pictures! Yatta! *smiles* I don’t care if it is corny, all those characters are so charming and cool in their own way that I can’t set myself to critisize the episode.

Versus Virus Venus review - 41/100

Venus Versus Virus is an anime who tries to lure me in with a cool first episode and a cool ED. I have never been so lured into an anime as this one. The first episode was pretty good, and after that you start to hope that it eventually will get better and it will be as good as you expected it to be. But. After a couple of episode you’ll just realise that you have been lured into the anime. There are two things you can do after that conclusion: Drop it, or blog it and have some fun. I have chosen for the blog it option. Because how hard I had to laugh over all the silly stupid events in this anime.

Anyway. This anime is about two girls who are fighting demons that you call Virusses. They are just really evil and need to get killed. The one girl is a real cool girl, without many emotions and she is just cool and harsh. She has a flashlight eye (really! It glows in the dark!) and has a horrible past because of her flashlight eye. Her name is Luchia. After a couple of years of fighting those evil Virusses, something happens and a new girl is introduced: Sumire. Sumire has no spine, whines about everything, has the most annoying friends ever, cries every episode, is scared to death every episode, doesn’t even notice when she almost is murdered by the badguys and she has an evil alterego. When she is shot by an anti-Virus bullet she becomes so evil that she can’t control herself and just wants to kill everyone in her path. That is a nice contrast, and it can work nice on paper.

But. It doesn’t work in the anime. We see Sumire whine about every little event for the first half of the anime and she was so annoying that I almost wanted to twist her neck. She keeps on wondering why this happened to her and bla bla bla. Really annoying. I kept on hoping that she would succeed in growing a spine (she did one episode! But the episode after, she was the same as ever) but unfortunally she didn’t. In fact, the creators gave all their attention to Luchia, a character who was perfectly fine, but they softened her a numberous times. A big mistake. What I would love to see is Sumire in her Berserker mode attacking Luchia and the two of them fighting. We never really saw that one. Unfortunally.

And don’t even get me started about the things you can predict in this anime. I predicted 4 episodes before the conclusion what the plot was going to be and I was right as well! I suck at predicting things so I was really taken back by laugther when I saw that bullshit. Further has this anime a lot of actions that really unnecesarry. For one example, the badguy and one of the goodguys meet in a busy shopping street. One second later they are in a deserted building, overdramatically holding a conversation. There are a lot of stupid deaths in this anime, for one example the minute that Sumire killed a Virus that had possessed a girl of her school. The second after that when her boyfriend hold her once again she completly forgot about that one. The most stupid action will remain that Luchia somehow in one year succeeded to age two years. Yes she did. And god, how stupid was that. And of course, you can already see it in the badguy. He is also pictured in this review. Who on earth would want evil glowing eyes? In fact, in every serious anime that is stupid. But with two different colors.. ^^..

If you ignore Sumire a couple of times and don’t watch her friends at all, this anime is hilarious. It sucks in many ways, but it is so bad, that it becomes really great to see. I recommend this to everyone who wants to critizise an anime, or to a couple of sarcastic friends. It is a great laugh. Because it isn’t meant to be laughable.

This episode: Seeing the complete intro of this anime that lured me into watching, but the second after the intro it becomes garbage once again, seeing people turning into mud for no reason, evil Papa manipulating his own daughter and kidnapping Sumire, taking her fragment and turning her evil, Luchia searching for birthday presents while Sumires friends totally forgot about her and the most messed up ending ever.

Of course Luchia is trying to attack her own father, but he starts babbling once again about the true world. That was to be expected, right. He told her that Lilith sacrifised herself for him and stuff like that. And that Luchia could meet her mama once again if Lucif stole her fragment. And of course Luchia buys it, because of course this world is rotten. The only weird thing remains that we have only seen one example of why this world is rotten and that’s because both Lilith and Luchia were picked on when they were childs because they weren’t believed by anyone. If that is "this rotten world", I should praise them lucky. Anyway. Just at the moment that Luchia was about to offer herself to her father, her flashlight eye began to work once again and guess what. Lilith killed herself in order to protect her Fragment because this is the world where her child lived in. Luchia got angry and Lucif too and he kidnapped Sumire for the next time they meet. Muahaha. Ha. ha.. Oh btw. The woman with glasses who only said 5 lines in the whole anime appeared to be just some mud, just as the boyfriend. Gosh. The Oyaji died as well (who didn’t expect that one) and he just wishes for her to be happy. Gosh.

Luchia went home and was just being sad because Sumire was kidnapped. Instead of going after her she just decides to train her shooting skills. Of course. She isn’t reckless. Lola is meanwhile still eating chocolate, and they discover the birthday present of Sumire for Luchia. Sumire had also written a dramatic note by it and of course it was about how happy she was that she met Luchia.

After that, somehow she got into the same old church of the first episode. That’s why the first episode was so good! It was the bloody ending. Sign. But the moment after they started to fight, Luchia started to whine once again about that Sumire wasn’t herself and that her old self was still in her. Luchia uses her flashlight eye once again (what, why can’t Lucif use that eye of his?) and because of the spirit of Lilith and the Oyaji came, Lucif was killed. The end.

What the bloody hell? We don’t get even a happily running Sumire towards the shop and shouting something like: "TATAIMAAA!" or something like that? How can we expect this to be the ending? What is going to happen with Lola and with Laila? And Sumire and Luchia? How about the Virusses? Ah well. I guess we will never know. This was a good blogging time. But well.^^. This baka episode couldn’t beat the baka-ness of the last one. That really did it.

This episode: Seeing some amazingly stupid events. For example Yoshiki being strong, the most corny stupid evil laugh ever and the true meaning of the worst case scenerio.

Ooh golly this was so stupid that I laughed so hard that I almost fell of my chair. Of course Sumire still believes in her boyfriend and rejects all the arguments that Luchia comes up with, while it is obvious that he tries to kill Sumire. Sumire locks herself into her room and tries to call Yoshiki but gosh I wonder why on earth he didn’t pick up the phone. The next day, Sumire is absent in school and every school tries to call then the company where she works so Luchia knows it too. But why on earth would the school call Luchia? That doesn’t really make sense. Sumire visits Yoshikis school but I wonder why on earth he isn’t familiar with that school…

She doesn’t know that Yoshiki is in fact Aeon (who on earth is that?) and that he is in fact with the badguy for the evil ultimate plan (muahaha) and that he has to witness the worst evil laugh ever. Believe me, two shining flash light eyes is already bad to look at, but if you have two different colors, the fun doesn’t stop.^^

Luchia is meanwhile searching for Sumire and instead of just CALLING her they have to drive dramatically around the city, looking for her. Heck, that was so stupid. Anyway. At least Yoshiki calls her and they come to the museum and Sumire is almost killed there because Aeon wants to become a fossile… Wait a minute. Why on earth does he want to be a fossile? He is a really boring guy. Anyway. The other two side badguys appear and on the moment of truth, Aeon can’t take Sumires fragment. By the way, everything that I have forecasted about the fragments is been right. I guess this anime is really stupid. Aeon really loves her and they are friends again and love each other again. Aeon appears to be really, really strong and wipes the side badguys out. But why didn’t he use that power before..? It was really weird to see him like this. Luchia meanwhile found Sumire and saw the back of Yoshiki and thought: O NO HE IS TRYING TO KILL HER!!! And she stabbed him into the back and Yoshiki dies. But. Who the fck was Aeon anyway? I guess we will never know. Sign. Sumire gets into the Berserker mode after seeing her boyfriend dying the most stupid death ever (really. I have seen much death scenes in anime, but this really does it) and she kills Nahashi! Nooooo…

And of course, the cliffhanger: Lucif. O gosh I have no idea what is going to happen. *cough cough*
This anime is so stupid that it becomes hilarious! Yatta!

Venus Versus Virus 10

This episode: seeing an evil boyfriend trying to harras Luchia, Luchia, Luchia being saved by her Flashlight Eye, Luchia being worried about Sumire for the first time, Sumire still trusting her boyfriend, the Oyaji and Lola searching for Evil Papa, but he finds them before they find him, really beautiful blue curtains^^ and an evil twin brother of the boyfriend.

Venus Versus Virus has some of those episode that I keep wondering of what the bloody hell the creators tried to mean with that one. This is one of that episodes. It was even more stupid then I would have expected, because the boyfriend apperantly has an evil twin who acts the same as the boyfriend and tries to brainwash Sumire and tries to sexually harras Luchia. But that doesn’t make any sense. Because even if he works for Evil Papa, why wouldn’t he manage his own daugther himself and say something like "you have your mothers beauty, but you have inherited my eyes…" Why has the boyfriend take care of the friend of his girlfriend as well? Okay, it makes sense that he has to go after Sumire because that bloody bitch is stupid enough to even be killed byhim without noticing, but why Luchia too? This is ruining the perfect evil plan of Evil Papa. Because Luchia obviously was worried about Sumire because she really likes Sumire and Sumire was thinking and she saw in the ending Luchia pointing a sword against Yoshiki. Maybe you start to wonder if something like that happens..

Meanwhile, Lola and the Oyaji were trying to find that evil papa of Luchia, and just at the point they were going to give up, he stood right before them! And instead of holding a nice little chat at the scenery, they choose to move to a building that isn’t in the area. The chat and the fight is dramatically being hold there. But I keep on wondering. How on earth did they get there? Was it like:
Oyaji: You…
Evil Papa: I have a really nice location for our evil dramatic fight. Want to move over there while we’ll discuss our happy memories together? By the way, how is my daugther doing?
Oyaji: Sounds like a good plan! Where is that building!
Lola: Wait a minute so I can buy some machine guns so I can try to save the day.
Because: How on earth did Lola got those machine guns out of the middle of nowhere?^^ It was so stupid it made me laugh as well. And of course the two of them didn’t get killed because Luchia has to see them and she has to get angry and she has to kill her father. Of course.^^

Another note: What did the creators try to mean with the "house" of Yoshiki? I’m suprised it was managed to not be destroyed untill now.^^ What a prototype of an evil home.^^
And the last, really, really stupd thing: What the bloody hell did they mean with those evil curtains of hell? ^^ Left, right, left, right, left, right, under badguy, drama, left, right, left, right, Evil Papa. ^^ Things like that do not work. ^^. But sure it was funny.

Yamato Nadeshiko Shigi Henge 6

This episode: Seeing Sunako sinking into a mental depressing because she forgot Halloween, which caused her to stop doing the chores, a really really messed up mansion^^, male emancipation and a party.
We learned this episode how not to do the house choirs.^^ It was amazingly stupid.

This was a real good episode. I laughed so hard that I almost fell off my chair. Sunako was struck down by a fever, and she had to spent a lot of time in bed, recovering. It was such a period that she even forgot to celebrate Halloween. Because she thought she wouldn’t be forgiven by Hiroshi, Akira, Josephine and Jason, she became mentally depressed and stopped doing the choires. Meanwhile, the guys managed to make a mountain. Out of clothes and out of junk. They were even climbing it to find their belongings and Kyouhei said it well when he said that from a certain perspective, it was amazing. Yes. Amazingly stupid.^^

After a while, the guys started to wonder what on earth could have happened to Sunako and they first thought that it was her birthday. No it wasn’t but it was really funny to see.^^ The whole house started to smell and all of the guys had to make a choice. They were going to clean. But they couldn’t. ^^ Yuki broke the laundry machine, Ranmaru the dishes, Takenaga just moved the stuff in the living room and Kyouhei was almost injured with his attempt to clean the bathroom. They just couldn’t do it and they had to wear those smelly outfits to school. Takenaga was afraid that Noi would think that he would smell, so he was really mean to her. And that hurts her feelings. She came by in the afternoon and an attempt number two! And she sucked too to clean the house. But she did give Sunako a conscience. She wondered why Noi would take this trouble to clean the house. Noi said that she did it because she wants Takenaga to like her. She thought she died that morning when Takenaga told her to stay away. Sunako apologized and Noi said that it wasn’t her fault and that she envied Sunako for a long time to be able to live with Takenaga. She wasn’t any different from the other girls, but it is also because she fell in love with him. But sure is amazing, that Sunako is doing this horrible stuff every day.

Finally Noi figured out that it was Halloween that Sunako had missed so they threw a late Halloween party that caused Sunako to be happy once again. Takenaga and Noi made up once again and were really cute^^ and Sunako was so happy that she shut herself in, into her room once again.

Yamato Nadeshiko Shigi Henge 5

This episode: Seeing Sunako failing as a photo model at the most perfect location, Yuki cross dressing once again, Sunako being really cute because she wants to see some ghosts, Kyouhei hiding in a clock because they want to take his picture as well^^, Takenaga and Ranmaru in really cool outfits, Sunako in cool mode again and seeing that the world of the model photos are just scum.
And of course we are learninig that if a picture is token from you, it will get a nice special effect if you have a blue handkerchief. ^^

The last episode ended with a evil Sunako, with the school festival. Remember? The only problem she didn’t know off was that a picture was taken off her, and was placed in some magasin. And just the worst guy on earth got to see that one, a famous photograf for photografing bishoujo’s. And of course, Sunako had to come. The pay was supposed to be 500.000 yen so Takenaga told her that a bunch of paranormal researchers were researching ghosts in that old maison. And Sunako was all giddly once again. Untill she discovered that she was a model, and she freaked and ran off, making friends with spiders and mice in the maison.^^

But at the moment things looked really bad for the annoying Photograf, Yuki decided to be a bit female once again and one moment later he was standing next to Takenaga and Ranmaru in a dress. And why not just in mans clothing? Well. The photograf remains a bishoujo photograf and not a bishounen photograf. But still, in the end also Takenaga and Ranmaru got to be a bunch of vampires. Kyouhei ran off as well because he didn’t want to let his picture taken and hid in a clock.^^ I really had to laugh about that one.

The guys in the spotlights, meanwhile, were playing along untill the moment came that the photograf insulted Sunako and called her ugly. And Yuki quitted with the job. He was really mean to her, and told that it was fraud what he had seen in the magasin. Well. You can’t say that to Yuki. Especially because a moment before that he was talking to her and said that he admired her because she said what ever she wanted in every situation. Because Yuki stopped with the job, he was insulted as well. In front of the whole bunch. Sunako got so angry that she broke the camera of the photograf. He shouted that she should pay him back, which got Kyouhei one floor above them in panick and he ran into a wall and was really injured. Because of that noise, everyone thought that the mansion was haunted, and that caused Sunako to ran upstairs and seeing Kyouhei covered in blood. They escaped, but still the evil photograf managed to get an evil picture. The bunch got the money, and the Landlady stole that money because she needed some money for their rent.^^

I really liked this episode, it was really cute to see Sunako so giddly and seeing Yuki in a dress. And yes I know I’m really late with the update. Who cares?^^

Venus Versus Virus 9

This episode: Seeing the prototype of a "silence before the storm episode", Sumire baking a cake, seeing a feminine side of Luchia (she bakes a cake and goes shopping! Omg!^^), the first fans of Luchia, Sumires first kiss and Sumires boyfriend being possessed by Evil Papa.

Oh golly what an amazingly stupid episode. We already begin with the comment of Sumire that it has been quite peaceful since the last episode so we should already know that this episode was mainly a filler, and after that they are going to the climax. I guess that they had some time left in the anime and tried to fill it with this.^^ But boy, I really had to laugh because of it. It was really stupid. Really!

Namely, because of that Sumire and Luchia are almost having their birthdays, Sumire decides to bake a cake. But Luchia first didn’t want it because her mother passed away on that same day. But Lola convinced her that they have Sumire this year and that they should celebrate it. So Luchia starts to make cakes with Sumire. She screws up several times and it was so fun to see her so clumsy that it was too funny to watch. They even go shopping (lyk omg^^) and meet some friends of Sumire, who invited themselves on the birthday party of Sumire and Luchia. So they start to bake more cakes. Meanwhile, Lola said to the Oyaji that "he was here", meaning the Evil Papa. So they start to investigate. The badguys confirm it so we already know what is going to happen next episode. Sumire meets up with the boyfriend and they talk, but suddenly he is attacked by a virus! Again.^^ After Sumire had shot the Virus to death, she discovers that it was a girl form her High School. She starts to lose herself, and the boyfriends hugs her and kisses her as a thanks that she has saved him and Sumire has forgotten all about the high school girl she just killed.^^ That was so stupid I couldn’t believe it. After she left from her boyfriend, the minute after that he gets possesed by Evil Papa. The timing couldn’t be more perfect.^^

I forecast that the boyfriend is going to do something on the BirthDay Party with the cakes.^^

Tsubasa Chronicle 46

This episode: Seeing Kishimu in a shell, seeing the feather using a Deux Ex Machina technique, hearing the funky theme song once again^^, Syoaran and Kurogane kicking some asses, seeing people walking on water without being declared as saints, and the ultimate Jijutsu attack.

Kishimu brought the "kids" to her country and revealed them that she has used all her powers. She said to them that there was a feather in this world. It’s kind of ironic though. Kishimu was meanwhile punishing the local badguy to drown him to death, and after that she would have murdered his son, but a nice little feather came right on time, following the Deux Ex Machina rules, to the hands of the son of the local badguy. And everything started again. This badguy is also manipulating and possessing the local people, so we can say that it’s in his family to do so because his father did quite the same. His evil super plan is to make an army of the Kishim and then attack his former land because they killed his father. Like that is ever going to work.

Mokona meanwhile revealed that the two worlds, their world and the world of Kishim are connected to each other. That’s why Syoaran and Kurogane are allowed to talk to each other without babbling some nonsence. But Syoaran, Chung-Yan and Kurogane have to hide because they are considered as the enemy in Kishim. So they go to the river, because no one dares to go this way because the water is considered as sacred. Meanwhile, Fay and Sakura decide that they should go to the river as well because well. Mokona feels that there the connection is the strongest. One of Mokonas 108 special skills.^^

Chung-Yang, meanwhile is depressed because Syoaran and Kurogane rejected her in helping to fight for the feather because she may lose her life. While Chung-Yang is depressed, Kishimu cheers her and says that she just looks like her mother when she has lost to Kishimu. Apperantly, those two came a lot into fights. But Chung-Yangs mother has used thé Jijutsu skill against Kishimu, and that’s why her mother is the best. And of course we are going to see the same skill from Chung-Yang today.^^
After waiting for a bit, Sakura appears with her lovely mirror with Fay and Mokona so everyone is going to fight. And her super special ultimate Jijutsu attack: Refusing to fight and saying that you believe in everyone. That was such a nice thing to see. Really, it was.

So we are going to Kurogane and Syoaran once more and the Funky melody theme starts.^^ They didn’t do much special, they just attacked the castle and kicked some asses and once again it was awesome.^^ They smashed the Diamont thingeys, that and revived the people from the town and stopped the Kishim! Yatta!
But of course the badguy came and his super plan was to get a super sword that was granted from Sakura’s feather to destroy Syoaran. (Syoaran left Kurogane behind, they do that a lot.^^) After some difficulties, the badguy was defeated and the feather was returned to Sakura. I really liked this episode.

This episode: Seeing the roles turned! Luchia without a spine and Sumire saving her!

Yes it’s true, and this anime is becoming more stupid by the second. Yatta^^. This episode wasn’t really anything special, it showed just the hatred of Luchia, and I had to laugh somehow because of it. Because it’s so ironical, that Sumire is in fact Lilith, the mother of Luchia. Further the logic of this anime doesn’t really make much sense and every character in this episode was just being reckless.

Luchia was reckless to search fights in her weak condition, saying that she hates the world and even wants to destroy it. Yes sure girl. If you have such a good mother, she probably won’t hate you. Further I find her a bit weird because she blames her father that she has her left eye. Well, you can’t have it all right? And yeah sure, her father is really a son of a bitch, but he can’t help it if he has a left eye that is dominant..? Luchia really needs some common sense. You can’t hate your parents for bad things, because it’s not their fault either. But in Luchia’s case it is worse. She was picked on because of her flashlight eye. And because of that she thought that nobody loved her. How silly girl. Because she has a dear of a mother, an Oyaji with glasses, a soulless figure and a girl who is trying to grow a spine supporting her. And then she still claims that nobody loves her? Well. I think I can’t really blame her that.. If you are loved by a soulless figure I also would think that something is wrong with that..
Luckily, at the end of the episode she is back normal again and promises that she won’t do anything reckless ever again to find her stupid father, probably to kill him. And just let me guess what has happened with Evil Papa? Hm. If I had to guess I would say that Evil Woman With Glasses has frozen him or something like that and killed him.

The next one for being reckless! Sumire! Running away when your boyfriend tries to make up with you and still wants to be with you?… She thinks that she is weak and because of that she can’t protect him. But she sure did the last time?! It’s only because she didn’t want to become a Berserker at the first moment or else she would have kicked Luca’s ass. After that Sumire thinks that when she becomes Berserker she can just walk into the Flashlight Eye Light of Luchia who is trying to destroy the world. Nice plan! But of coourse because her fragment is so special because it’s the one of Lilith, she manages to stop Luchia from destroying the world in a nice background.

Next one: Oyaji. Telling Sumire totally the past of Luchia without asking her and asks them to save each other because the Enemy will go after their Fragments. But wait a minute. Everyone has a fragment! Why go after only the fragments of Luchia and Sumire? And if people change in Virusses after their Fragment is stolen, what on earth happened to Lilith? … A mystery.

And as last: The Badguys. Trying to make a nice plan to attack Luchia when she is on her own, (she was, of course, otherwise we would have gotten something more stupid this episode), and tie her up with Ice. She doesn’t realise that something like Ice can become water. And water doesn’t have the ability to tie people up. After that the badguys think that they can be smart to piss off Luchia, which allows her to releas her FlashLight Eye Power. And they were almost killed. But not totally killed because otherwise we would have seen a different ending. Duh.

I really beginning to like this anime because of its sillyness and stupidity.^^ I wonder what on earth for stupid things they are planning for the next episode.

First Impression: The Skull Man

Ugh. Trying to lure me with a cool name and with a cool picture. Most of the time of this episode, I was just merely annoyed. No, don’t get me wrong. It can be really interesting with the skull man and that he just kills people for some reasons, and I really liked the monologue of what he was saying, but I have two problems with this anime:

First of all: The art. I do not like it. In fact, I find the art even ugly. The designs aren’t worked out well, and it just annoyed me of how weird all the characters were looking. The art for the background is a little better.

Second, and my major problem: The girl. She annoyed me. Really, annoyed me. I mean, the word "coincidence" has a proper fit here. She is just placing her will on other people and involves everything in what she does, and she walks over peoples boundaries. She thinks that she is a fantastic cameraman and that’s why she hired herself to our main character, who is trying to find the truth behind the Skull Man. But she just needs him, and she is completely dependent of him. Because with him she can enter the city. Without she can’t. Furthermore she is so dominant that she has no manner of politeness or hospitality. Because the maincharacter was just curious about her fake passport, she is so angry that she throws him out of his OWN house. And just add the naked bath scene. How horrible can you be to throw someone out of THEIR houses when they take care of you? Currently I’m believing that she has to be on her monthtly period and that in a couple of episodes she will turn out good. That is what I’m believing, and hoping. I give this garbage one more chance. But the girl definetely needs something done, because I’m really annoyed by this annoying arrogant girl.

But furthermore, the plot is really nice and I like the story. My main problem is just that girl.

Venus Versus Virus 7

This episode: seeing Lucia suffer because her mother is killed on Lucias birthday by a crazy son of a bitch that voluntary changed himself into a virus and is her father at the same time, Lola and that other girl are finally explained and a totally flashback that explains everything of what’s important to know for the climax.

Oh no. Finally had some hope high, but this episode made it really worse again, but still. I had to laugh because of it because they have explained a really important plot twist so easily. Look, I will explain it to you. Nakahashi or something like that was with Luchia’s mother and father disciples of a great mage, but he passed away because of old age. Well. That can happen. But there is more! Apperantly, some land far, far away, the True World exist. And don’t let it be the same place that Luchia is seeing in her dreams, because that would be really stupid. A True World with nothing in it, that would be a true world. But let we ignore that for a moment, shall we? This True World can be obtained by the Fragments of people. To get a fragment, you’ll have to kill them and then take that little stone. Well. Luchia’s mother apperantly had a really, really good nice fragment and Luchia’s father was a son of a bitch and went away for a year and leaving his pregnant wife behind. Also, Luchia’s father had also that nice flashlight Eye, so we already know of who Luchia had that nice Eye thingey. Anyway, that father went away for a year and when he came back Luchia succeeded in becoming two years on 7 July so I’m a bit curious about how on earth she did that. That day was her birthday and there was a chocolate cake and she was really looking forward to it. But. Her father changed in a virus that wants to go to the True World because this world is rotten and stuff like that. The funny thing is that we have never got an example in what way and view this world has become rotten so it was a bit weird to hear that. Anyway. Rotten papa killed his own wife in front of his daughter, took her fragment and thought that he would succeed in leaving this world. Yay! But wait, o no! The fragment dissapeared and was reborn again. And the father left, leaving a traumitized daughter behind that is cursed because she is born out of a virus.

But let’s think for a bit. This episode showed that Luchia and Sumire are born on the same day. But. Luchia is older, because she is no longer in high school. Because this anime is really stupid, we can conclude that Sumire has thé fragment and that Luchia will save her most likely from her death and killing her stupid father. An other argument is that Sumire did pick up that stupid broach, and that was a broach that would lead people together. Because Rotten Papa and mother are supposed to have one soul. Luchia has inherited that soul, and Sumire is in fact the reincarnation of Luchias mama. So… Nice situation, right?^^ It is a bit stupid to reveal such an major plot twist like this so I had to laugh about that one.

A few other notes:  For soulless figures, they sure know how to eat candy, don’t they? That Lola and that other one. Also I find it a bit ironic to name a girl who is picked on because she had the flashlight Eye Luchia, which ironically means "Light". Poor girl.  And of course it’s ironic because Luchias mama did forecast that papa would come back. But only to kill his own wife..

Venus Versus Virus 6

This episode: Seeing Luchia almost with a burn-out, the arguments of Sumire becoming stupider, a fuss about a bunch of withered flowers throwing away, seeing a arrogant guy being defeated by a crazy high school girl, the first attempt for Sumire to grow a spine, and Lucia using her left eye for once.

Finally! After six episodes of totally garbage and nonsense, Sumire finally realises that she has to fight and she may succeed in growing a spine. That for once. She was in the beginning of the episode still stupid, claiming that her lovely boyfriend wouldn’t get hurt (what, just a moment before that the Oyaji and Lola claimed that her boyfriend wasn’t hurt at all..) if she fought better. That is, if she became Berserker sooner. But the Viruses cases became worse, and Lucia currently is on a burn-out because she works too much. But noooooo… Sumire still was in her mental depression and she did nothing in the beginning of the episode. For a moment I thought that this episode could be even worse than the last, and that was a really, really bad one. Lucia almost got herself killed with an annoying boy that I will just call Annoying Guy because I find that name appropriate.
But. For some reason was she moved by the flowers of Lucia and she decided to fight for the ones she loves. How touching. However the reasons may be really stupid, but the last part of the episode showed some more potention.

Let’s just ignore the Deux Ex Machine and that Sumire realised on time that Luchia was in danger (but first of course the sentence: "She sure is late, right?" That was really.. #$%@#) but Sumire just shot herself in becoming Berserker and she has some nice water powers too. Finally. She can control her Berserker too, and to make it even better: Lucia realised that she can do something really interesting with her left yellow eye. If you don’t have a light at your home, just ask her to come over.

I don’t want to ask myself why on earth there is a twin version of Lola, and what is a fragment because I fear those things are really going to be stupid. I guess we will find out later in the anime. They are really stupid with those things, so.. But it was nice to see the first attempt of Sumire to grow a spine! And she realises that their company has to be stronger to defeat those evil dudes. Maybe this can become even better.. Maybe. Let’s not have our hopes too high, shall we? At least this is a funny anime to critisize because of the stupidity.

Black Lagoon review - 73/100

Black Lagoon is an anime about a company guy who gets kidnapped by a bunch of modern pirates. Hoping to be rescued by the company, his company ditches him and leaves him to die. After the kidnapping is over, this guy claims that he is so angry with his company and he has no other place to go, so he joins the pirates instead. He as a company guy has a lot of trouble to change himself into a villian, but to be frankly, he uses his own abilities to help his new company "Black Lagoon" out of some trouble. They live in a violent city, Roanapur, and this anime follows his story and the kinds of jobs and situations. The pirates run a delivery company in that city. It might be a bit weird for us to see, for example "The Churce of Violence" with nuns carrying guns, everyone getting excited for a manhunt for a lot of money, and all kinds of maffia all over the world who gather there. There is no justice in that city, and that’s where Black Lagoon the anime starts.

There are a couple of things that can hold this anime together, because Rock can be a bit annoying once in a while. The first thing is the gunwoman of the company, Levy. She is just pure evil at the first sight and she can kill anything on her way. It’s really nice to see her in those gunfights because the fights are really well made, and it can be an enjoyable time for us to see. The other things are a couple of side characters. Dutch is the leader of the company and his comments and actions are always fun to see. And the other is the nun of the Church of Violence, Eda. And god how I had to laugh because of her. But those are side characters and their backgrounds isn’t lightened out at all, and it’s a real waste.

The cases are really something too. You won’t be suprised to see an evil maid who acts like a robot scaring the hell out of Dutch, Benny and Rock, and Levy trying to fight her. You wouldn’t be suprised to see a gunfight at the "Church of Violence", saying that you should come back when it’s the day of judging and blackmailing everyone. Also you wouldn’t be suprised to see Rock again being kidnapped. He is really good at that. Here lies the good point of Black Lagoon. Several cases with Rock, Levy, Benny and Dutch and a couple of side characters, and they are just trying to furfill their job.

However. The second season is more pointed to some side characters like Balalaika, the head of the Russian Maffia. The action is too much, the blood is too much, the evil things are just too much. We have no Benny and no Dutch and no Eda. The creators tried to force Levy and Rock into a situation and then by some kind of a miracle letting them to be saved. The action was too much and too less blackmailing. It was a real shame because the power of Black Lagoon lies in its imposing characters, and the weird cases. And don’t mention the Engrish. I have tried to understand them, but after a few attempts I just convinced myself that it was a language that isn’t be for humans to understand. It’s such a waste. Black Lagoon started nice, but it became worse in the second season.

Black Lagoon 24

This episode: Rock gets abducted by a high school girl, Balalaika shoots the Kousa with their own guns, the war ended and they don’t even have to kill off the entire yazuka to save Yukio, Yukio meanwhile proofs that she can hold a gun and both Levy and Rock are lucky that they are still alive because I would be more frightened when Yukio pointed a gun at me when I would be when Levy would point a gun at me, Yukio kidnaps a villian, the long awaited fight between Gin and Levy and Yukio commits suicide.

Black Lagoon comes to an end. Even so, I know that I’m really late with this one and I know that the last episode was realised a couple of months ago, still I’m a bit sad to see this one going. It’s one of the anime that I was really looking forward to last year, and now it has ended and the last arc was really bad. It’s a real shame. The creators could have done more then this.

I will be short with my comments, I believe I should spoil those who haven’t seen it that bad, although I believe I will be one of the last persons to see this, because I’m really late with it. I had to laugh once when Rock was kidnapped by Yukio because she is still a high school kid. And always, Rock has to get kidnapped. And I’m always laughing because of it. Rock meanwhile convinced Yukio that she was too smart for her own good that she couldn’t convince herself that she had choosen her responsibility, and there lies his answer. He will be where he stands. And he believes that Roanapur isn’t such a bad place. Of course, a lot of gunfights. But the freedom is absolute.

Okay. No more Black Lagoon. Say goodbye to it, because I doubt that there will be a third season. The last season was in the end really messed up (take a look at the "Engrish". That was painful to watch).

Black Lagoon 23

This episode: Rock doing stupid things, Yukio using her brain to lure Hotel Moscow out and she realised that the base is in a ship, Levy being annoyed (as always) and Balalaika being evil and Rock making her laugh.

Rock is still not really happy with what Yukio said to him the last time and he still thinks he can save this girl from being a villian. He talks with Levy while they are eating and Levy claimed that they are already dead because they don’t have the graps of holding onto life, that’s why they are already dead. Rock as well. And I can see, because he doesn’t really value his life. Hasn’t he learned enough of Dutch and Benny? Remember, with the Roberta arc. Benny and Dutch can at least think to not upset a scary woman, and especially not when it’s Balalaika. But what does he? He upsets her because he claims that the yakuza already is destroyed and they don’t have to finish the last blast to Yukio. Don’t ever order someone of the Russian Maffia around, the idiot. He was almost killed, and he almost killed Levy with him. At least he could make Balalaika laugh and that was his cue to be rescued. I don’t really understand his reasoning, and with this being the last episodes of the anime, I guess I won’t spoil too much.

Yukio meanwhile was being shouted at by the Kousa, and after that she and Gin made a new plan to discover the hideouts of Hotel Moscow. They reasoned that with an armoury that large, they wouldn’t go with the plane. A ship. So the harbor it is. They mimmic a car as the same of Hotel Moscow and rob a bank. After that they eastdrop the police of where the white vans are going. It’s a real smart plan. And do I see it good, but I think our little girl Yukio is deeply in love with Gin, that’s why they are always together and they don’t want to part. They say it’s fun and well. This Yukio is annoying too. The next episode should kill both of them.
I’m interested in what is going to happen the next episode.

Black Lagoon 22

Hm. This was a suprisingly good episode. Not only because the most annoying Japanese dude finally died on his level, but also because Yukio finally said something good and because of Rock, and he finally realised that he can’t do a thing for her, he is just meddling with her affairs. But still, the goodyness of Black Lagoon lies with Levy, Rock, Benny and Dutch doing some jobs and the problems that lies between them and that Levy has to save Rock all the time. It lies in the crazy gunfights for no reason and the weird cases. I haven’t seen that here.

We start this episode with the gunfight between Levy and Jumbo, and the gang, and of course the gang looses. It was really nice to see Levy in a gunfight once again, because it has been a while since that happened for the last time. If you ignore her attempts to speak English and just convince yourself that that language is something complete else, you can just enjoy this nice fight. Gin was also really interesting to see, but his art was messed up, a real shame. After the gunfight, they split up to find the annoying Japanese dude who currently sank even lower by shooting his own people. Levy kicked him in the face, and walked away, and he was so angry that he followed her, not even realising that she was leading him towards Jumbo to kill him. I have never seen such an annoying character. Gin did kill him and suprised me with his slicing a bullet in half powers. Levy was also suprised to see it, and we can be sure that the two of them will fight in the next episode or in episode 24. Where Levy is most likely to kill him. Of course. We already said that Gin and Yukio won’t come out of this anime alive.

Speaking of Yukio, she was with Rock, and she asked him why on earth he saved her. After all, he was her enemy. Rock said that he doesn’t want her get involved in this, but he is already too late. She is already the center of it. And more: She choose it herself. Rock was just blabbling of how she could and that she had no choice. But what more can she do? If she can help her whole group, and she is the only one who can, what else can she do but to fight for them? Rock compared her with Levy, because they both don’t know better how to fight and that Yukio is becoming a criminal more by the second. And Levy.. well. If someone is a criminal, she is. It’s also the same with Balalaika, she doesn’t know different of to fight. Rock says that he wants to help her, but he can’t. He can’t save that group, he just won’t lose more memories of Japan. He is in the twilight. Neither choosing for Japan, neither choosing for Roanupar *or something like that*. He hasn’t changed at all because he doesn’t want to change. Levy might be the same one who kills him some day. It was suprising that this überpoetic girl could hit some sense in Rock. Really, suprising. The next two episodes will feature the deaths of Gin and Yukio, of course, and the end of the war in Japan. Black Lagoon becomes a bit stronger, but still it can’t beat the goodyness of Roberta and the Churche of Violence.

Black Lagoon 21

Another "brewing before the storm" episode. This time, we finally saw Gin fighting, Rock taking some action, Levy let Rock do what he wants, and the girl with the glasses being kidnapped. O yeah, we also saw something of the past of Balalaika. It showed that she was always fighting and she didn’t know how to live without it, but I think that flashback wasn’t really at the good timing. It was more like: Oh well, we need to show the background of Balalaika, we have a minute now, on to the flashback! Yay! Kampai. But it was just a bit stupid. Just a bit.

Speaking about other stupid characters, I have to say that Yukio annoyed the hell out of me the first half of the episode. She was just trying to be a yazuka, but seeing her in her school.. well it doesn’t really work. She has a normal live too and to throw it willingly away, it’s a bit weird. The second half I just pitied her. That’s because she was kidnapped by that evil Japanese dude, and really was made being fun of. Poor girl, I supposed she is traumatized by that event. And still she wants to continue. How weird can you be.

The only thing I’m suprised of this episode, is Gin. I must say, for a first annoying looking character, he was pretty cool this time! I really liked how he dodged those gunshots with ease. And I’m really glad because the best character of the whole anime, and the best character of this arc, are joining forces to send that annoying japanese dude off to some really nice place, named Hell. Finally.

Rock annoyed me too because he is meddling with things that he shouldn’t be meddling with. That girl isn’t himself and he can’t protect her from jumping into the villian world, like he jumped himself in that world, and can’t and doesn’t want to turn back from it. He wants to save her, but from what. And more important, how? If he just wants to save her from getting raped, he might do it, but the other things that he wants to save her from, he can’t. The idiot.

Venus Versus Virus 5

Oh no. This is getting more horrible by the second. Really, I have never seen a bitch as dumb as Sumire. She is even stupid enough to not realise that her friend is possesed by something evil and keeps on thinking: "She’s acting weird today.."
Sumire, a lesson: When people just change their style of clothing, wanting to go to shops they don’t even know, wanting to drop everything they touch to annoy you and claim that they didn’t do it on purpose, and combine that with that strange power you have, maybe that person can be possesed by something. Just maybe, just a thought. Really. Stupid bitch.

Yes I know my reason for blogging and even watching this. I’m hoping that Sumire and Luchia come together and that Sumire succeeds in growing a spine. Untill now the creators haven’t been able to make this wish come true. Instead, they focus on the boyfriend of Sumire (and sjeesh, she has no taste at all!) and on a new badguy who is just a badguy because he is a badguy and wants to make Sumire suffer. How corny can be your reason>_>. Sumire was also whining that it was her fault that her friends got involved, but well. Indirect. Yes, she DID pick up that brouch.. But direct.. Is she screaming: Hello evil people please attack me and my friends!
No. She is just blaming herself once again. And she needs to see that people can be possesed when they act different and pick a better place to see your boyfriend and she will be fine.. Sjeesh.

But sure, of cooourse is the Berserker much stronger than this other bitch, Luca, expected. How come such a plot doesn’t suprise me. Although it was fun to see Luca being afraid, that bitch. That will teach her. And further, I can’t really tell anything else that was spectecular in this episode.

Black Lagoon 20

Ugh. How horrible can you get. If I knew that this garbage was about to come, I wouldn’t be watching it. But anyway, we’re almost through it, so I’ll watch it till the end. This episode was merely what you would call the "silence before the storm", although some things in this episode weren’t so silent at all. But that doesn’t matter because we all know that Levy is going to be in some pinch, Rock’ll almost get killed and they will somehow survive, just as Balalaika and the annoying characters this episode will be torn down. Thank god. Because, how annoying were they!

First off all, I would like to expres my annoyance against the horrible Engrish. That was SO annoying, and impossible for me to even try to understand it. It seems to me just like Japanese and I don’t even bother and just imagine it’s a language that I have never heard of. Please. The next time they are going to speak English, please do it properly. Onegai! The plans of Balalaika are just corny and based on pure evil, Balalaika is just evil because she is evil and she wants to dance in the hell. Yes. Thank you, nice reasoning. If badguys like that show up, I suddenly lose my interest in an anime. Please don’t make up some not corny reasons to be a badguy. Onegai.

And that girl with the glasses. The pain. The horrible pain. They tried to make a nice, deep thought character out of her, but it sounds to me that she is constantly stoned, that’s why she is babbling so much horse crap. She was even worse then a poet, and most poems are really airly and you can almost put a violin background music to them, but she was even worse. With her arguments I almost wanted to put an hallelujah chore on the background, to make it more funny. It’s clear that she is going to be slaughtered, and to be frankly I don’t care. She is going to be kidnapped, but well. The next episodes are going to be terrible, with too much action. "I’m looking forward to it.."

And of course the other guy who picked a fight with Levy. First off all he doesn’t even look like a Japanese and second of all I would really twitch his neck because his arguments are even worse than Balalaika and I really hope to see his blood in the next episode, by Levi. Arrgh.
How many annoying characters can you make in one friggin’ episode?! Where is the goodyness of Black Lagoon with Dutch, Levy, Rock and Benny? >_> It has passed away, unfortunally.

Yoshinaga-chi no Gargoyle review - 68/100

This is what you would call a weird anime. Namely, it’s about a talking rock statue that vollows his life (if he even has one) to protect a family: the Yoshinaga’s. And it’s a real weird family too, we have a always happy mother, but if she gets angry she has a weird habit to break everything she sees (including the one she is mad about), we have a normal father, he is just an ordinary character, we have a daugther who acts like a boy and has a nickname "agressive girl" with serious kicking skills, and we have a very cute brother who acts like a girl and I just adore that guy.^^ And this is what Gargoyle (hilariously nicknamed to Gar-kun) is protecting. He is made with alchemy, and that is also a central point of this anime. At first, I thought that with Futaba, they have nothing to fear but really. How many criminals showed up in this anime.

You can call this anime messed up. They spent all their airtime to serious cases. At the beginning it can be touching, but they keep on whining about the side characters, instead of focussing on the family. A lot of time is spent to one particular guy: Hyakushiki. He is a villian, a thief, but also a caring father and I have to say that he is quite charming. But he keeps on focussing about the wellbeing of his ‘daughter’ instead of teaching her some nice tricks. I was so glad that he made a proposal to her that she had to steal the bra of the shopkeeper Iyo because that was hilarious.^^ But. Hyakushiki, such a charming and nice character, is most of the time only shown with one side. And that goes for all the characters.

I think that this anime needs a remake. And then be more sarcastically. Because when this anime is sarcastic, it is great and I laugh my head off. But that doesn’t happen, because they focus on the serious drama. And that is such a waste. Futaba is also shown too little, because she is the weirdest girl I have ever seen in a anime, and I would like to see more of her. But, that chance wasn’t given to her. I would like to see Kazumi getting angry for once, and Futaba being embarrased by something. That should be hilarious. I would like to see Gar-kun to threaten more people and using those super laser eyes beams more. But, we didn’t.

Don’t get me wrong, the drama is nice too, but it can be corny once in a while. And those characters have so much potention, it seems like a waste. We don’t watch this anime because of the art because it’s nothing special, the music is once in a while really annoying. I would like to see the characters.
Tell me when a second season or a OVA for a second attempt is announced.
