Pani Poni Dash 25

We continue this episode after the major anti-climax of episode 23. And of course, it’s as good as ever. I must admit that the previous episode really made me laugh, this was enjoyable with a nice climax.

The class is going to save the world of the big comet that will destroy the earth, and guess what? It’s the Ichijou Feast. Of course. How could it be any different? Ichijou talks to the thing, and of course, we know what will happen then, the same as with the bull that wanted to conquer the school. Ichijou makes the situation only worse. With some awesome weapons, they are at least defeated and sucked in the Ichijou Feast.

The climax is something that I almost slapped myself again on the forehead, because it was after all: Kami-sama desu nyaaaa. The cat, with his twin brother. Becky solved the case, and we are going to the final epsiode.

What I really loved was the prelude of this episode. The perfect dramatic commercial and I couldn’t stop laughing. That is the nice thing of Pani Poni Dash because they can make of the corniest scene ever a great laugh. I like that.

Jigoku Shoujo - 92/100

Jigoku Shoujo is one of those dramatic anime. And I can not say different then that I loved it. The plot goes like this: There is a website, and one who enters that site at midnight, and gives the name of his agonist, that person will be sent to hell. But there is a compromiss: When you enter a name, your soul will fall in hell by the time you die. Nice plot though. Every episode is with another hatred one, and with an agonist. Every time the agonist makes a beautiful fall in the hell by the Jigoku Shoujo, the Hell Girl. This Hell Girl is Enma Ai. And I love her. She is so sad, but, she is even so calm. And of course she has her helpers, the Hell Crew. Those characters I love too.

Every episode has his own drama, his own story. The stories I loved the most were the stories of episode 1, 12, 15, 16, 17, 20, 22, 23, and of course: The climax episodes. That is something I loved so much! Of course I’m not going to tell anything about that climax, because my opinion is that a climax is so much better if you don’t know what’s coming. All I will say is that the climax made me cry. Really cry. I just loved Tsugumi, Ai and Hajime. Because of the drama, and if you are moved by it, it makes a good anime. And when something really made you cry, you are so happy because you are moved that much by this.

The art of Jigoku Shoujo is one of the best arts ever. Everything is so beautiful drawn, and especially the art of Ai. She is such a beautiful girl. And also the sidecharacters who appear in episode 9 or something. I love them both too. Also a real pluspoint is the music. I LOOOOVE the music. It’s so Japanese-like, and still you can feel the tense in that music with the hatred and the agonists. It’s so moving, and I wouldn’t be able to be moved this much by this anime, if it wasn’t for the music. Everything just fits so perfectly.

This is my opinion about it. As some can see, I’m happy I saw this anime. I would recommend it to everyone, because this is a moving, decent (very decent) anime. If you are a human, or a alien, please watch it. You won’t be sorry.

Rak Shine ey? Finally the moment we’ve all been waiting for! The past of Hakuoro, or Rak Shine. He has comitted some crimes and now a group wants his death.

They’ve attacked the village, and everybody dies. The Axe-man has just enough power to report this, but he dies afterwords. The castle is under attack, but the group was so small they had no chance of winning. They were defeated, but the hated that they senced.. It was unbelievable. Aruruu was too sad to see when she found out that the Axe-man passed away. Nice scene. Really nice.

Hakuoro can’t handle this, and he goes out to war. The cliffhanger was something nice, that they were attacked by those enemies and he was called Rak Shine. A girl like Karura called him this way and called him a villian. The commander calls him also Rak Shine, and is the older brother-in-law of Rak Shine. Pay for his crimes. Nice. But what crimes? What could he had done possibly? How bad shall it be? I’m looking forward. Utawarerumono is getting better!

A introduction of a new, unexpectedly enough, amazing character. I like Karura, because she is such a contrast. I just have to say, the intro was just AWESOME! A sinking ship, full with slaves. The slaves will die, and they are screaming and screaming, but the crew is already on shore. Then, a woman rises above the ocean, and kills them all, and collapses and she is find by Oboro and co.

The woman is Karuru, and she is taken to the land of Hakuoro. Hakuoro treats her real nicely, but she is threw into prison in a few seconds. A minute later, she is talking to Hakuoro because she broke out. She is a soldier, that explains her strength. But because she looks so beautiful, her strength is underestimated.

I like the fact that the great Benawi lost to her, and that she ordered a giantic sword, and nobody can weild it, and she cuts easily a rock into half. It was awesome, I’m looking forward to the next episode!

Azumanga Daioh - 71/100

Azumanga Daioh is the anime on what Pani Poni Dash has based. For me, I’m a big fan of Pani Poni Dash, so I figured out that I should have watched this as well. This anime is about the class 1-3, the whole High School periode. In the 26 episodes that we have, we see the characters develop and grow and have fun. This sounds nice. I have only discovered two bad points about this. It’s friggin’ slow, and: it’s so normal. Even with some awesome characters, it’s still so normal, about a bunch of girls going to school. Even when I was in middle school, I had more that happened. The other thing that I was dissapointed by, was the music. But well, you can’t have everything, because I’ve wanted to see a decent school anime since I’ve dropped the amazingly garbage School Rumble.

The characters are sometimes really annoying, or they are cute, or they are awesome. The two that I really liked were Chiyo-chan and Osaka.

I told you, they are great. This after the moment that Osaka lost her shoe, because she threw it away. Chiyo is a prodigy, she is 10 years old when we meet her. And she is just incredibly smart and cute. Osaka is the nickname of the girl whose real name I’ve already forgot, and she is just so slow, and so weird. She has a really slow thinking proces, and everything she does is either slow, or it’s weird. Like the time that she wanted to wake up Yukari, that was just pure brilliance. The other characters are just plain. And one is so annoying that I won’t even mention her. The diet-girl, we have too, we have the coollookingcatlover, and the sporter. Plainlooking, I know.

But don’t forget the teachers! Nyamo and Yukari. They know each other from High School, but I have to say that Yukari is just a weirdo. She is childish, doesn’t like to take responsibility, hates to lose, and doesn’t want to work. She wants to drink.

Like I said. The other is trying to keep control about her friend, but she fails completly. Especially when Yukari reminds her that Nyamo is single and so on. It’s really funny to see, because sometimes there can really be a competition between the two, deciding who’s greater then the other one.

Further, this is a normal anime, with funny moments. Almost all the characters are nice, but there is a lot of repeatment, and a lot of boredom. But some moments make up for the whole anime. I recommend this anime to everyone just to check out Osaka. She is the saver of this anime, and she is such an idiot that everybody must like her.

Jyu Oh Sei - 65/100

Well. Well. Well. We have the first real anime which I was so enthousiastic about, untill episode 7. We could say that Karin spoiled the fun. The twinbrothers Thor and Rai, after discovering that their parents are killed, are sent to a unknown planet, where plants rule and killing is a common sence. They have to be though to survive, and the fact that the two are twins, doesn’t mean that they both are the same. No, Rai is weak, Thor is strong. And that is already decided on the age that they are both 12. Rai dies. Of course, and Thor remains on the planet to find out why his parents and his brother are killed. And to find out, he must become a Jyu Oh, king of the beast. The Planet Chimera has four Rings, with each Ring one leader, the Top. In order to become a Jyo Oh, all the Tops must be defeated and Thor must be the only one left. A kid of 12. And to pace up the anime, he has only 8 years to become a Jyu Oh. We all know that he will become a Jyu Oh, and suprisely, when he is 15. But don’t let me spoil more fun about it.

Our Maincharacter is Thor. We have two sides of the Thor: the young Thor and the adolescent Thor. I have to say that the younger version is simply brilliant. He understands his situation, he has strategy, he does everything to survive. And you don’t expect of such a small kid to conquer the worthrobe of the Ochre Ring. It was a great fight. Really. But, we have the adolescent version. And of course, he falls in love and becomes most utterly corny. It’s really a shame that it happened, I want that guy to be brilliant, not some kind of a idiot. It’s a real chance, but it’s wasted.
Our side characters are thank god a much better. At least, some of them. Chen is as boring as ever, and Zagi is so weird that even I don’t understand him and think he is a asshole, Karin sucks as well, but Tiz and Third are pure brilliance. Tiz is the sweet girl who always loved Thor and supported him, and she is so sweet, and strong. She is just one heck of a contrast, but it all gets better with it. Third is just unexplainable. Nobody can know what he thinks, but what he does, it works. And Thor always realises afterwords what is happening while Third set him up. He is just a dry guy, and I can not deny that I really laughed about it. It’s almost evil.

The drama is good, but it’s sometimes so corny. All those guys can think about is love, or having a child. None of them actually has a child, but it’s all they talk about. I don’t like that, but some of the drama, they can do that too. Let’s say it’s either good, or it’s corny.

What I really liked was the ending, how uncool is that when you find out the truth. I will remain silence about it, but it’s really something so depressing that I would have been in such a shock. And so do all of them when they find out. It’s nicely done.

In a saying, this is a decent anime, but let’s face it: Karin spoiled the fun.
