Jigoku Shoujo - 92/100
Jigoku Shoujo is one of those dramatic anime. And I can not say different then that I loved it. The plot goes like this: There is a website, and one who enters that site at midnight, and gives the name of his agonist, that person will be sent to hell. But there is a compromiss: When you enter a name, your soul will fall in hell by the time you die. Nice plot though. Every episode is with another hatred one, and with an agonist. Every time the agonist makes a beautiful fall in the hell by the Jigoku Shoujo, the Hell Girl. This Hell Girl is Enma Ai. And I love her. She is so sad, but, she is even so calm. And of course she has her helpers, the Hell Crew. Those characters I love too.
Every episode has his own drama, his own story. The stories I loved the most were the stories of episode 1, 12, 15, 16, 17, 20, 22, 23, and of course: The climax episodes. That is something I loved so much! Of course I’m not going to tell anything about that climax, because my opinion is that a climax is so much better if you don’t know what’s coming. All I will say is that the climax made me cry. Really cry. I just loved Tsugumi, Ai and Hajime. Because of the drama, and if you are moved by it, it makes a good anime. And when something really made you cry, you are so happy because you are moved that much by this.
The art of Jigoku Shoujo is one of the best arts ever. Everything is so beautiful drawn, and especially the art of Ai. She is such a beautiful girl. And also the sidecharacters who appear in episode 9 or something. I love them both too. Also a real pluspoint is the music. I LOOOOVE the music. It’s so Japanese-like, and still you can feel the tense in that music with the hatred and the agonists. It’s so moving, and I wouldn’t be able to be moved this much by this anime, if it wasn’t for the music. Everything just fits so perfectly.
This is my opinion about it. As some can see, I’m happy I saw this anime. I would recommend it to everyone, because this is a moving, decent (very decent) anime. If you are a human, or a alien, please watch it. You won’t be sorry.
Rating: 92/100

Thanks for giving me the dvd, I simply loved it! It’s a bit morbid at times, but never gets that bloody horror-like, most of the scary things are driven by suggestion. Nice concept, though I’ve still got a lot of questions about some episodes that aren’t answered yet. Most of all Tsugumi stole my heart, what an adorable kid! In the end, revenge isn’t that good. There were some episodes that ’shocked’ me a bit, left me with an awful feeling. The supernice nurse, that was sent to hell by some freaky idiot, we never get to know why… The killed dogs and the very, very little pups who are drowned in a bath… The mother with other young men when her husband and her child aren’t at home… Absolutely awful.
The music absolutely has a big influence, it makes the episodes far more exciting!

No problem!
Still, everybody has this questions, so I’m really glad that there will be a new season in the winter. I’m looking forward to it.
And you are right, Tsugumi is just a adorably, cute kid. I can’t imagine for someone to not like that character.
Yeah, I suppose that everybody had their own shocking episodes, with me that point was with episode 1 and episode 16. That was too much for me. And of course, the climax.
The music is wonderful, I’m still listening to it every day.^^ Thanks for your comment, HARG!
