End-Of-The-Month Ranking July 2006

And it’s almost already August! Time for my first End of the month ratings (an idea from psgels^^), I hope I can do this without making a mess. I want to give a top of my anime that I’ve seen this month (I don’t include the rest, like NOEIN), what I’m watching and what I’m dropping. Also I want to have a Best Woman and a best Man. And of course, a top 5 best episode rating. That should be it!

Top of the anime
This month, I watched in total actually 29 anime! And I don’t even count some anime that hadn’t released a episode this month. I know this is relativly not much, but well. I’m still an amateur.

29. Toragura!
A disgusting anime that I didn’t even felt worthy enough to be blogged. I find this so much bargage that I clicked it away after 5 minutes. I think the reasons should be clear. I don’t want to see the desires of a horny bastard. Dropping.

28. Kirarins Revolution
I’m suprised as well that I managed to watch the full episode of this garbage. It gave me a headache because it was so bad and fake, and the voice of the main character is annoying the hell out of me. Once and never again. Dropping.

27. Deshimataa! Powerpuff girls Z
This lowbudget, corny, annoying anime is annoying the hell out me as well. The maincharacters are dull, the art is ugly, the plotline sucks as well and the original is so much better. Dropping.

26. Tsuyokiss
This was garbage to me as well. A girl that goes to a high school, loves drama and then plays the most corny play ever. If she loves drama, she should play something original. I don’t like the main character, and I don’t like that boy too, and I stay away from this utterly garbage. There. Dropping.

25. Zero No Tsukaima
The fact about this anime is that I’m reminded of a weak version of Harry Potter, and the weak version isn’t quite helping. But still, the plot is also different and I don’t like that fact. The maincharacter? Dull. As. Ever. Dropping.

24. Bibou Shima Monogarati
This anime has a nice concept though. The only main problem that I have with this anime is that’s boring as hell once again. Nothing happens and the sisterly love that is used here is a little too much for me. Even so, nothing really happens, everything is as randomn as ever again, and the poor sisters are glad with everything. That’s not the main problem though. The problem really lies with the phrases like: every meal that I can have with Asu is a great one! Or something like that. I’m just too weak with that kind of lines in a seriously way. Dropping.

23. Chocotto Sisters
This anime season really has something with sisters this time, geez.. This time too. The main problem that I have with this anime is that the sister only has three face expressions and has to look everything up in her notebook to see how a sister should behave. And that she is relying on her ‘brother’ so much even now in a week. Dropping.

22. Bokura Ga Ita
There are two facts that remain me from dropping this. One: the past of the main character may be come interesting. Two: I’ve only seen one episode. For the rest: Garbage. Still, I’m going to give it one or two episodes for I decide to drop it. Pending.

21. Welcome to the NHK
I loath the direction that this anime is going. This anime is going into the ecchi side, which isn’t good at all. I loath that. I give it one more episode before I decide to drop it, but I fear for the worst. The first episode was great, but now, I have my considerations to taking back my words. Pending.

20. Wolfs Rain
This is the most idiotic, dull, stupidest anime ever. I can only watch maximum 3 episodes in the month, and everytime, they give me a great laugh or a great annoyence. The concept is stupid, the characters are stupid, doing stupid thing without knowing that they are stupid and yet they have their great pride in this anime. It’s hilarious. The only problem is that it a ’serious’(ly stupid) anime, and it’s so dramatic that I get a headache when I watch more then three episodes. Watching.

19. Coyote Ragtime Show
I loved the first episode, but after that, the anime is getting weaker and weaker. But still, it’s sometimes enjoyable so I think I continue watching this. Watching.

18. The Melachony of Haruhi Suzumiya
This anime was fully released in the beginning of July, and I have to say that I was really dissapointed with it. I can’t understand why everybody loves this anime, I just thougt it was dull and I can’t understand the thinkingline of Haruhi. I think I’m way too optimistic for that, and that’s something she doesn’t realise. And the other fact that I didn’t like about it is that of course Kyon and Haruhi get together -.-. Ending.

17. Utawarerumono
Everybody that has been reading my posts about this anime may understand why this anime got up ranked in the 17th place.^^ I find this anime incredibly plain and dull. And yet, I continue to watch. How come? The art is nice and I’m curious about the climax. Watching.

16. Chelavier
The fact that already half of the cast is murdered is a nice thing. I think I might even fall in love with this anime because it can be so great. It’s a horror anime in France in Versailles. I’ve been in Versailles myself and I kind of like the fact this anime is going. When another episode is going to be released? Watching.

15. Dai Mahou Touge
At last, another episode was released. The only problem I had with it was that the episode was a bit dull and I already knew what was going to happen. It remains funny, but for an OVA you expect something different. Watching.

14. Fairly Musketeer Akazukin
This is also a great anime watching. It’s funny, it’s great, it’s easy to understand. I just don’t really like the fact that I don’t really like the main character and the ‘transformations’ of the musketeers. But further more I can’t complain. I’m already used to the talking dog and unfortunally, no longer reminded of Excel Saga. Watching.

13. Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu Deluxe
I love this anime! I finished it a couple days ago, the review should be soon online. This was an hilarious anime, I totally loved it. The only problem is: It’s damn too short! Only 6 episodes! Ending.

12. Muteki Kanban Musume
This is the best anime of the season so far. The humour is great, the characters are interesting as well, and who doesn’t love ramen? I so loved the train part in episode two. Watching.

11. Good Witch of the West
Beautiful art though. The only problem I have with this anime is that the main characters are some dramatic teenagers. Sometimes, I just can’t stand that. Watching.

So, there, now we are going to the top 10! With pictures^^.

10. Samurai Champloo

This was one of my first anime so I decided to blog about it. But when I look back I see it’s as randomn as ever, but even so, it remains funny. And dramatic. I can not say different then I love it, but it IS a bit randomn. But in a nice way.^^ Watching.

9. Pani Poni Dash!

This anime is finished a couple of days ago. The only episode in the month, and I loved that episode too. It was a weird episode, I would have expected a anti-climax but well, let’s say this caught me off guard too. This was a great anime to watch. Ending.

8. xxxHolic

This anime rocks too. I love the stories that are told, and it’s a great time to watch. The last episode I saw was incredibly cute with the pipefox. The humour is great too. Still, I keep wondering why on earth Wanatuki hates Doumeki because he has no reason to do so. And the art is something that I sometimes just can not get used to. Watching.

7. Ouran High School Host Club

Ouran remains brillant too. I love this anime, but let’s face it, it can be a lot better. But this anime is one of the better comedies and that does care for love, but also cares for friendship. And that’s something most of the comedies fail because always it’s corny. This is weird too, but it contains all kinds of idiots, that may like one girl, but she rejects them al and sees them just as idiots and as her friends. I haven’t seen the 17th episode yet, I adored the 16th. I only wish that Honey would die from some strange toothache, because that kid doesn’t fit in this anime. Watching.

6. Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni

This anime has his good points and his weak points. I liked the Rika arc, but the Shion arc is giving me some problems because of her impulsive behaviour. I mean, she is even worse then Keiichi. I loathed Shion when she wanted to throw that chair at Satako because she is one of my favourite characters, including Keiichi and Rika. Shion is not my thing. I was disgusted by episode 17 and haven’t found the guts yet to blog about it. I couldn’t watch it. Still, I’m wondering about Satoshi, but I want to see more of Rena, more of Satako, more of Rika, and a Keiichi returning. Watching.

5. Black Lagoon

Episode number 10 was AWESOME! It was great, it was cool, I loved everyone and I saw really, really scary woman. Black Lagoon remains great, and wonderful. But still, we have to wait for Shinsen, because my pc can’t handle the quality of ’Your-Mom’. But why on earth is Shinsen so slow?! Watching.

4. Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu

This is a wonderful comedy. I can not say different then I laughed like hell when I watched it. It was great, it was wonderful. Episode 4 was definitelly a killer, episode 24 too. It is a great anime, Guu is just wonderful. And I love the bear design.^^ Ending.

3. The Third

The Third is the best anime of the Spring Season. It is so great that I can’t say different then that. The pace and the mystery is running up, now Ikus has returned, and going somewhere to the herd of the sanddragons is a great idea for the viewers to get frustrated. Something is going to happen, and I’m looking forward to it. And Millie remains to be so cute. Watching.

2. Tsubasa Chronicle

I loved the last arc with the gods and Ashura and Yasha. Of course, the ending was as Tsubasa Chronicle as ever, but Syoaran and Sakura are getting cute again, Fay annoys Kurogane once more, and Mokona has been AWESOME in episode 37. It was the best Mokona ever and we don’t even include his black brother riding that enormous bird in xxxHolic. I’m going to watch more and more. I can’t get enough of this, even if it’s stupid. Watching.

1. Fruits Basket

Some may have noticed, I’m a complete Fruits Basket freak. I love the art, the characters, the humour, the plot, everything. Really. This has to be on my one list because I’m blogging this now and I can’t go without saying a word about this anime. I’m reading the manga as well, and then you really see more of the characters, and I get more and more questions, and more thougts of the characters and more philosophy. Watching. Of course.

Well, with that closed, let’s continue to the best episode top 5. I have to think a lot about that before I can make a decision about that, but this is it.

Best episode top 5
5. Black Lagoon 10
This episode was just completly AWESOME. The fight was so great, I loved all the characters and especially the fear of Benny and Dutch for Levi, Balalaika and Roberta. It was just so great, and let’s face it, who wouldn’t love that episode?

4. Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu 24
This was completly awesome too. This episode, Weda sneaked out of the mansion and run into Clive. But at the moment, Robert, Hale en Guu were there too, and Hale panicked. So Guu suggested that they should spy on them. It gave the hilarious results, Guu being weird, Hale bein paranoid for Robert to not shoot. And of course, who can forget the ‘No-Pants’.^^

3. Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni 15
This episode was just too sad, and it really made me think about one of my favourite characters. Who gives a shit about Mion and Shion, give me more of Rika, Satako, and so on! Just think about it, you are a year of 5, and you know that you will die in another 5 years. How cruel. But even so, a wonderful episode.

2. Tsubasa Chronicle 37
This episode really caught me off guard in its weirdness. This is something you won’t expect from this anime, and this episode made me more Mokona-fan then I already was. It was a great one, I laughed so hard and so much. A really good one.

1. Fruits Basket 8
After seeing this episode so many times, it still can make me cry. It’s just all so sad yes, Fruits Basket IS my favourite anime. So what?

And with this, this also ended. Let’s move on to the best Female in anime, and the best Male in anime this month.

Best Female this month: Guu (Junle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu and the Deluxe version)
Yes, this is the best of the month. I had a little Guu month this time, and it’s not ending yet. Guu is the most original character ever, with the best character design ever and after seeing 32 episodes, I still can’t make clear what she is thinking. The ‘No-Pants’ action was great, the training of Dama, and the kidnapping. She does just everything to have fun. Alas for Hale, this concludes to him that she annoys him.
Close up runnings: Honoka (The Third), Tohru (Fruits Basket), Levi (Black Lagoon), Satako (Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni), Rika (Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni), Haruhi (Ouran High School Host Club)

Best Male character of the Month: Dutch (Black Lagoon)
With the latest episode in the Roberta Arc, you can really see the powerless Dutch. I love that, because he is such a though guy, but the only one that can get close to beat Roberta, isn’t him. And I loved that this big, enormous guy, was afraid of two women. The contrast was used here greatly. Dutch was so afraid that he didn’t dare to get out of the car. It was great, even Rock had more guts. Muhahaha.
Close Running ups: Syoaran (Tsubasa Chronicle), Fay (Tsubasa Chronicle), Yuki (Fruits Basket), Kyou (Fruits Basket), Hatori (Fruits Basket), Roux (Good Witch of the West),  Akasaka (Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni), Robert (Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu), Tamaki (Ouran High School Host Club).

I’ve written all I’ve wanted. The most memorable moment in the month for me was the enormous of comments on my Utawarerumono posts.^^ Happy reading time and Dontworryaboutthedetails.

xxxHolic 16 - Talking Daffodils

Huggy, huggy, lovey love…^^

This was a nice episode too. Wanatuki had a little problems with the pipefox, that loves him so much that he wants to hug Wanatuki all the time, and so, Wanatuki can’t do his work. But then, a stone fell next to him, and he went looking by the well.

Huggy, huggy, lovey lovey piggy-piggy-backey-backey-ride yaaaaay huggy lovey!^_^

Wanatuki sees there deep dried tofu. It was given by the Vestal Spirit but because she was shy she didn’t want him to see her. So she drawn his attention by throwing small stones. The pipefox is fond of the tofu, and stops with the huggy huggy lovey lovey stuff. It was great to see though. The next day, Himawari, Doumeki and Wanatuki are walking somewhere and Himawari wants to check out the jewelry. Wanatuki figures he should buy something for the Vestal Spirit as well and buys something for her. At home, Yuuko warns him that the tofu for the pipefox might been dangerous because he can’t transform to his regular size then. Wanatuki panicks and ask Yuuko for help.

Yuuko gets a vase, and a little trick, and both the foxpipe and Wanatuki are sunk in it. Mokona and Yuuko are meanwhile going to eat.^^

In the vase, there are talking daffodils. They can grow, and they have a nice temper. The foxpipe transforms and Wanatuki is scared by them and they run off, because Wanatuki can’t return from where he came because has something to do as well: the Vestal spirit.

He finds her, and they talk a bit and the Vestal Spirit is too cute to imagine. He gives her the gift and she is incredibly happy. So, they are chased by the little twerps.^^

The rain spirit saves them and Wanatuki is going home again. Somehow Yuuko wanted him to meet the Vestal Spirit. It was a wonderful episode, really cute. But forgive me for this review, I’m a little annoyed because some idiots are playing idiotic music right in front of my house, and my polse hurts. I loved the episode though. Himawari has serious competition. I hope the pipefox wins.^^

Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu Deluxe review - 84/100

The continuation of Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu. This version only has 6 episodes, and that was the biggest problem with this anime for me. For the rest, I can not say different than anybody who loved Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu also will adore the Deluxe version.

The story line with this version of Guu is the coming. Weda is pregnant. And we can all guess of who. And they are getting married. And of course, we have the reactions of Hale and so on. The six episodes are not all focussed on that, Weda has the baby in episode four, they are getting married in episode two, and the rest focus on the normal things: Chourou, Mari that wants Hale to like her and my favourite: Dama. She is WONDERFUL scary this anime. Also the time that Hale got drunk was nice to see.^^

The other thing that’s a little suprisingly is that Guu is far more sympathic this anime. In the version of Guu she was sometimes mean to him, but even now, she saves Dama! It’s so great to watch, even Guu can be weird, she is still a great person, but she just loves to have fun.

More can’t be said about this anime because the lack of episodes, just watch it if you loved Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu!

Utawarerumono 17 - They sure know how to drink^^

Humans don’t die that easily!

The one hand of the episode remained boring as hell: Two emperors talking to each other. That seems nice. But forgive me, it’s been a day since I’ve watched it. The emperor that has a incredibly impossible-to-remember/pronounce name (or was that the country?..) wants to know more about Hakuoro and they have spent half of the episode talking, get to know each other better. We know now that Emperor (that’s what I’ll call the girl so far until I figured out her name or the country..) doesn’t understand much about Hakuoro, believes rumors and is forsaken by the gods. Why, I don’t know. There was something with the gods and a big story about it which I couldn’t understand during certain circumstances, and I don’t think it will be such a big deal, so I forget it.

The other half of the episode we see a lot people drinking Sake, like Oboro, getting drunk, and having an hangover. Eruruu makes some medicin, but something went wrong, and it was really funny (suprisinglyO_o) to see Hakuoro force Oboro to drink that thing to please Eruruu. I don’t know if Oboro really survived and so. The other half of the half was about the salesman with a rare item, a rabbit look a like. The name, I forgot. They bought it, because all the woman, including Touka thougt the Rabbitlookalike was incredibly cute, and the liver of the creature can be a good medicin. So Oboro wanted it as well for his little sister Yuzuha. Yuhuza says she doesn’t want it because it would be bad to kill that creature and be better again because of that. Oboro, here’s a tip: Wait untill that creature dies, voila, your medicin.

This episode was something better then the previous episodes. The little jokes can get my attention and makes up for the boredomnes for the other half of the episodes. I so loved Benawi when he was working for the emperor. It was only a second but it sure got a nice picture of the evilness of the emperor. And then the real evilness and not that weak thing where that bastard was talking about. But still, I’m not looking forward for the coming episode.^^ But if it can go on like this, maybe I will enjoy it.

First Impression: Chocotto Sisters

Before I begin to review, I should make an announcement. I have found a parttime holiday job, and because I’m saving money for a laptop, I’m going to work these weeks. So don’t expect many post of me, they all will be there on Sunday. When I come home from that job, I’m so tired that I can’t write anymore.

Chocotto Sisters is a weird, weird anime. This story is about a guy that wished a long long time ago for a little sister. In fact, he was even obsessed with the fact that he would got a sister. But the sister didn’t make it, the mother was unable to give birth to anyone else. So he wished for a sister, to the Santa Claus! And a few years later… His wish came true. Let me tell you also about the ‘Santa Claus’. It’s a woman that had spent too many money on her motorbike, so she was unable to buy the regular cloths, hire a Rudolf. In fact, we even have a low budget of Rudolf. That was very interesting.

The sister appears and totally tries to behave as a good, cute, girl that wants to have a wonderful brother. In fact, she has even a book where all the facts about a brother and a sister are written. I’m myself a younger sister, and all those facts, they aren’t right. I was just a little annoyed by that fact, that’s written in a book to behave like a little sister. The sister doesn’t even has a name, and so the boy names her Choco. The perfect cute name for a perfect cute girl that hasn’t got any IQ on her self, and has only got 3 face expressions. Sounds wonderful, don’t you think? Whoohoooo!

I find this a weird anime. With the weird start. The rest of the anime will probably involve the perfect brother sister relation, as the book says. I’m going to watch a episode or something, and then I decide to drop it. The little thing that worries me too is that this anime has a great potention to become a little ecchi. The fanservice was there, too. Men.. -_-.

Black Lagoon 10 - Scary, Scary, Scary Women

Finally another episode is released and we continue with the cliffhanger of the ‘Killer machine’. Benny and Dutchie have completly lost it, and they are driving in dead end. That causes of course..

This. Luckily, Levi wakes up! And she is desperate to kill that bitch of a Roberta. And one heck of a crazy gunfire starts. It was too scary to see, what are those woman scary! They shoot and they shoot… it’s no end to it. But what a wonderful fight as well with great grafics.^^

Dutchie and Benny are meanwhile scared to death and I so loved that moment. They are too scared to get out of the ‘car’, but they can’t stay in the car either. It was so great to see, even the great Dutchie, too scared to take some action. And let’s face it, who want to interrupt between the two of them?^^

Here ends the fight, and right on the timing, another scary woman came in the screen.^^

Who would be the scariest of the three of them? To be honest, I don’t dare to say because I fear the other two will be mad at me and will hunt me.^^ They ARE all scary. Balalaika solves the problem, Gracia is no longer kidnapped, and they should stop the fight. And with those militairs, it’s hard to reject that. Then we get some information about Roberta, and that she was a revolutionist to a revolution that never came. She killed many and called herself a dog. But we all know, that Gracia doesn’t know the dog, he knows Roberta. And that solves that case too. And what about Levi and Roberta? They fight, with the fist, until they are satisfied.^^

Don’t try to stop them. In the end, Levi is knocked out, Roberta can’t walk anymore and they are all off. It was really great to see. But you can’t tell much about it. And I don’t do that too because my hands hurt.^^ Great episode!

Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni 16 - Shion the lunatic

This episode didn’t give me much respect for Shion. If I have to put it bluntly, I would say: DAMN WHAT A BITCH! And she sure is. On the one hand. Her behavior is explainable. Let me tell what happened. This will be all Shion, explaining what happened from her point of view. She escaped a distant school that she attended against her will, and she was seperated from her sister, Mion. An uncle helps Shion, and we see her a bit explain. She and Mion are twins. Duuh. But because of they are twins and there can only be one heir, Shions name is loathed. We can really see that in a picture of two freshborn babies, the one crying, still covered in blood from the delevery, the other one sleeping, smile on her face, clean and in a blanket. Shion is pushed away and her name is loathed.

But even so, she is incredibly close with her sister. Mion even wants to help her out and Shion can go dress herself up as Mion without anybody knows. Because if the family of them finds out, Shion will have some major problems. And that can’t be nice. Her sister talks to her about what happened, and of course, the Watanagashi appears. This is the year before Keiichi arrives, so this year, the notorious Satoshi and Satako’s ‘beloved’ aunt will have to deal with it.

She is completly tired, worn out, and her bag is ripped by some motor cycles. She is so angry that she kicks them all out of the way. She should have not have done that. That is the cause of all the problems for Shion this episode. Of course, the owners come to her, and she is in serious problems. Of course, we have a hero to the action. Satoshi. He tries to protect Shion, and the cops come.

He smiles to her, and pats her on the head. Does anyone see a blond version of Keiichi? *raises hand* At that point, Shion feels that she has some feelings for him. After all, Shion didn’t had a lovable life as the hated one of the Sonozaki family. I think no one except her sister ever loved her. She is just hungry for love, and Satoshi gave all she needed.

In that evening, she asked Mion everything she wanted to know about Satoshi. Mion tells about that he is the son of the Houjou family, and that just being a relative to that family, isn’t a good thing. They are being mocked, bullied, and also the aunt and uncle have to deal with it. Then also have the children of the ones that agreed to the Dam Project, it must only have given hate. The younger sister of Satoshi, Satako, has no good relationship with her aunt and she is completly worn out. Satoshi must have too, but Satoshi is the kind of person that keeps all his thougts in his head.

The next day, Shion goes watching a baseball game with Satoshi and the more notorious bat. After that game, that really tired out Satoshi, Satoshi didn’t return. It made Shion so sad, and she meets Rena. Because of the rain, they find some sheltern, and Rena asks if ‘Mion’ likes Satoshi. Shion answers that she really does like him, and while they are talking, more and more it occures to Shion that Satoshi is worn out because he has to take care of his little sister. She gets so angry with Satako, because she is relying on Satoshi too much. Don’t expect much from a kid of 8. But after some thinking, it is understandable why Shion thinks this way. She has overcome all the sadness that has given to her with her birth on her own, because there was no other to help her. Rena is suprised with the thougts that Shion just blurted out, and then she tells that Satoshi might feel the same way because it’s so sad that Satako relies on him because he is her brother. Rena tells more that Satoshi is feeling the curse.

Shion is kind of scared for Rena, because she is the expert of living with the curse. Satoshi feels it too, because he wants to abandon the village and leave everything. Oyashiro doesn’t aprove it. In this monologue, you can really see how paranoid Satoshi must have been. Shion is so moved by it that she calls Mion asking if she can go to the school of Mion the next day.

The next day, both of the Houjou children just look terrible. Satako is too sad, Satoshi is gloomy. Shion just wants to be friends. When she can’t even talk normally to Satoshi and she sees Satako crying, she gets SO angry that it even scared me and let me loath her for a second.

She beats Satako up. Because she keeps crying and that is the problem for Satoshi that he can’t be happy. A KID OF A YEAR OF 8! What else would you expect from someone that is completly worn out?! She finds a bit of happiness in her brothers live, is that so wrong to do that? I believe Shion is expecting unbelievable things from her.

I loathed Shion right here. How can she completly beat up that poor girl? Rika came to the rescue of Satako when Shion wanted to throw a chair (!!) to her. Shion says that she doesn’t care and has to hit Rika as well. And then, also Rena comes. Shion stops, she is afraid of Rena. Coming to think of it, this might be the reason for the third arc that Satako didn’t ask anyone for help, because she was afraid that she might got beaten up again for it. That must be it.

Satoshi saves his little sister, and asked what did they do? It must have been hard, to have the whole village against you, just because of your parents. It must have been the Sonozaki family doing. Shion is just speacless, with a broken heart. Mion scolds her a bit, and the episodes end.

I loathed at the first sight Shion. Beating up peope IS bad. It’s okay to rely on other, there isn’t much that you can do all on your own. And it can be a support. Satoshi loved his sister, and he loathed the aunt. I think protecting the ones that you love is the right thing to do, even if it’s dragging you with them.

Pani Poni Dash 26 - The Pool, the Kero, the End

To be a honest, I was slightly dissapointed with this episode. I would have expect some really weird ending, but no. This was fun too, because of the heat in the school, the principal made a giantic pool and let everybody swim.

The following situations are of course Ichijou and her little sister, Himeko being weird, Kami-sama had a really nice ending when he talked to Kero^^, Yuuma and Yuuna were weird once again, and the situation goes on and on. The aliens go home too, after observing Becky. That girl has too much genius in her.^^

Nice ending, a bit plain maybe, if Pani Poni Dash can be plain. This was certainly not the brilliance that made Pani Poni Dash shine, but well. After 26 episodes, I feel I can’t complain about it. It was fun. But not the best.

First Impression: Bokura Ga Ita

Ugh. Another garbage anime in this season. This is a love anime between a boy Yano and a girl Nanami in High School. Yano is really populair and Nanami is insecure, isn’t smart and still she is left with the duties of the class representative.

She has fallen in love with him because of his smile and his kindness to her. Well, that’s nice. We learn more about Yano during this episode. A girl in their class, which name I can’t remember, had a sister, the sister died the last summer. But she was Yano’s girl friend. Yano can be a deep person because he didn’t tell anything about it and said that he hasn’t got any problems. Well well well.

To be honest with this, I don’t like it at all. The art is weird, the characters are dull, except the fact maybe for Yano and his rudeness. Nanami is a slowpaced girl that doesn’t want to fall in love, is insecure, an adolescence, and you can go on about it. The art isn’t good either, and I don’t especially like the storyline. I think I’d watch one more episode before I drop it, somehow the past of Yano could be interesting. But let’s not get my hopes to high. I just can’t handle love anime in the first place (with a few exeptions) and I can’t stand adolescence love at all. Garbage.

xxxHolic 15 - Waves, Twins, and Words

As suspected, this episode continues the arc about the twins. We all remember that the elder sister was bleeding in the cinema. Doumeki let her out, and Wanatuki started to think. And then he realised. The elder sister was bleeding because she wished to bleed. She didn’t find her contact because she already gave up on it before she went looking for it. Wanatuki tells Yuuko about it, and the power of words. Once they are said, they can’t be denied. Words are just like waves, they start and can’t be stopped. Wanatuki worries about the elder sister.

Suprisingly, he talks to Doumeki. I don’t think Wanatuki hates him, because if he hated him, he wouldn’t go to him. I think Wanatuki doesn’t realise that Doumeki is a friend of him. Doumeki has btw develloped the most interesting way to get rid of Wanatuki’s screaming if he does something that upsets Wanatuki. But back to the topic. Wanatuki wants to tell the other sister about the problems of her sis, but he doesn’t dare, because they wouldn’t probably believe him. Doumeki says that he thinks the same way as the sister, and he said that he would come along with Wanatuki if he sees the twin again. And Wanatuki has to pay^^. Doumeki just loves to eat.

Wanatuki tells the sister about what he thinks she should do. That she better has to think that she can give it a try. It’s always better to give it up before she starts it. We know that the sister stands in the shadows of her other sister, and that makes her insecure. They both like Doumeki, and the younger sister didn’t dare to talk to him. Wanatuki was an optimist, and then the sister shined for a moment. She seemed so much more happier then she was before. Later that day, a happy Wanatuki talks to Yuuko and he understood the power of words. Words ARE powerful, because they can make waves. There is no one that can stop a wave.

Doumeki’s way to avoid to hurt his ears while Wanatuki is yelling.^^
They meet the sister once again the park, and she is doing so much better, so much happier. Because she thinks that she can give it a try, but Wanatuki says that she has to think that it will work out. And that really helps the sister. They talk a bit, and so on. The sister said that she had a part time job in a eat house as a waitress and invited Wanatuki, Doumeki and Himawari to go there. Unfortunally, Himawari couldn’t make it, so that was a reason for Wanatuki to get really annoyed and for Doumeki the reason to look like a donkey once more.

But, the sister seems to be really depressed once more. How could that be, when she was so happy in the park? The reason is simple. Her younger sister was there because she was worried about her older sis. She said that the Sis could better stop this work, because it was impossible for her. To put it bluntly: She has no confidence in her elder sister, just right where the elder sister needs confidence the most. The Younger sister thinks that’s the fault of her sister, but she doesn’t realise that she selve is the source of all it. It all goes wrong, and the sister gets more and more depressed. In the end, she is tied together by the strings and the power of words and is unable to move once more. She is trapped. Wanatuki tries to help, but then, we see our hero:

Yuuko talks to her, if she is really satisfied with the way she lives now, because then she should go on where she has no room to breath. It needs willpower to chance it and Yuuko asked her if she had a wish. There should be a payment for the wish. The sister agrees and says that she wants to be different. And that’s solved. The next time Wanatuki and Doumeki see her, she has cut her hair. Probably as a payment for Yuuko. The sister is really doing great, and even her younger sister accepts her. She can take rejections and she is really doing well.

The last scene of this episode was too good to be true, never say to a woman, especially when it’s Yuuko, that she can be fat if she keeps on eating outside the house. Her revenge was sweet. Muahahaa. This episode was great, you can really learn much about xxxHolic.

Ouran High School Host Club 16 - Hikaru!

Ooh, this episode was really, really great! It showed the other side of Hikaru, and the most important: It separated the twins as two individuals, and not as two halves of a whole idiot. I liked that fact, that even if they are twins, they are so different from each other. And it was clear to see that Kaoru is the genius of the two. Of course, they are going to talk to Akai. Akai is a friend of Haruhi while they were in Middle School. I especially liked the way that Haruhi introduced Tamaki. Because we all know that she calls him sempai. In the picture, we see a flash of Tamaki and his life as an hamster, or "someone that Haruhi knows"^^.

Another nice thing was that Akai was in love with Haruhi. And, that he was rejected by her.

Apperently, Haruhi rejected him without knowing what she was doing. Too funny to be true, once again.

Kaoru and Hikaru were really annoyed. Especially Hikaru. He just couldn’t resist to throw all his anger towards Akai. Haruhi got so annoyed in the end, that she slapped him in the face. Hikaru almost cried, said that they were her friends now, and he run off. Kaoru followed him, said to him that he just couldn’t control his anger, and that the twins were different from each other then. Maybe should Hikaru just apologize to Akai.

Of course, dressing yourself up as Hikaru and then apologize, doesn’t really work because Haruhi can tell the difference between the two of them. Nice tried. Kaoru asked Haruhi on a favour, to go out on a date with him. Haruhi agreed. The next day, ‘Kaoru was ill’. We can all gues that he was just faking, and Hikaru had to go instead of him. Let’s face it, it was all a plan to give Haruhi and Hikaru a chance to be together and a plan for Hikaru to understand other hearts more and be more sociable.

Of course, the rest of the Host Club followed them, and after some painful starts, and a angry Tamaki, and a weird Honey-senpai, everything went alright. Kaoru had forbidden the rest of the Host Club to interfer, because this has to be done by Hikaru himself. And it was quite funny.^^ Hikaru is really a baka for not realising that he was set up in it.^^ But Hikaru doesn’t realise that he has feelings for Haruhi and that Haruhi is a precious person to him. So all he can do is throw his anger to someone else, and not understand why he did that. He is just a kid, in that. But well, he has never had a friend except his own brother, so it’s quite understandable that he doesn’t know to behave in a situation like this.

The weather turned out to be pretty bad and just the moment that Haruhi got a little panicked, and Hikaru was going to about call a taxi, Akai showed up and he said that he could give them a ride back to the pension. Haruhi was glad about it, Hikaru annoyed as hell. He run off and said that he would get home by himself. Haruhi understood the whole thing that he didn’t had any friends when he was younger, didn’t realise to behave in front of other friends of Haruhi, and she run after him. It started to rain.

When the Host Club got a call from Akai, Tamaki understood the situation. It was thundering already. Hikaru didn’t understand the first situation, but Tamaki was really angry, saying that Haruhi is afraid of thunder, that she kept crying while it was thundering, that she wasn’t about to move anymore and so on. Hikaru was shocked as hell, and he understood all the small hints that Haruhi gave him. It was a great scene, because he was so more sociable, able to feel really sorry, and he went to search for her in the rain. I loved Tamaki as well here, because even he is deeply in love with Haruhi, he let the situation to Hikaru to comfort Haruhi. He didn’t try to be the hero here, and I loved that fact.

Hikaru found Haruhi in the church, underneath a table. His actions were finally impulsive. That moment I couldn’t help it to smile myself, because it was just a great scene. Hikaru really changed, his other side was showed, and that moment can make an anime great.

With some easy moves, he comforted Haruhi, apologizes to her. Too nice!^^ The next day, Hikaru could get along with Akai, and the situation was evaluated by Kyouya and Kaoru, the two brains of the Host Club. They say that Hikaru isn’t in love with Haruhi yet, because he is an idiot. So is Tamaki. The two are the guardians of the idiots of the Host Club. Kaoru is the guardian of Hikaru, Tamaki’s guardian is Kyouya. Both they are, and will be in love with Haruhi.

I LOVED this episode, because it really seperated the twins and showed that they are complete different persons.

The Third 9 - Paife

Remember the cliffhanger of the last episode. Honoka is requested to set out an investigation for the rampage of the sand dragons. After some negotiations she agrees with the proposal. Her tank will be repaired and her only condition was that Joey could join the adminstratation of the bunch that repaired the tank. This way, Joey’s skills can grow more and more, and he can become even more better. I like the fact that Honoka did this, because she knows that Joey doesn’t like admitting that he has his limits too, because he isn’t skilled enough. She helps him, and I really enjoyed that fact. Joey was very pleased with it.

Honoka takes off, and the feeling in her Third Eye is coming more and more often. Like some danger is on the way. Bogie talks with her about it, because she has been talking in her sleep more often. I would like to know what she says in her sleep about it, because Bogie remains silence about that part. I think that anyone would some times talk in their sleep, but if real words come out, that’s the question. I think Bogie wasn’t so concerned if he didn’t knew what she was talking. He knows. It couldn’t be any different. But then I wonder why on earth he doesn’t tell Honoka what’s she is been saying in her sleep too. I think he doesn’t do that because Honoka knows what bothers her, so it would have been irrevant information for Bogie to say it. Anyway, the conversation between the two of them is interrupted by some car, the car is driving towards the tank. Guess who.

She introduced herself as Paife, and goes inspecting the tank without saying a word about it to Honoka. When Honoka gets a little upset about it, Paife says that she has been appointed by the government to be a partner with Honoka on her mission of the sanddragons.

Even so, Honoka still feels that the danger is approaching. Somehow, she related it with Iks. I wonder why she would do that. I know that she is in love with Iks, that she misses him, and so on. The only reason that I can come up with is that Iks is somehow also a part of the danger. This may sound vague and I can’t tell it so well too, but another reason can’t be happening. Honoka will get shocked by Iks one day, and that won’t be so nice to see. I’m looking forward to that moment, though. That’s why Iks dissapeared for a time too.

Paife and Honoka talk that night. Honoka tells her story, some things she remains hidden. We also learn more about Paife. She is sent to spy on Honoka. Honoka isn’t suprised a bit. I wonder how that could be, I didn’t realise a bit. But well, I’m naive. It also suprises Paife that Honoka already knew, and we learn that Paife hasn’t got real friends, only enemies. I don’t think that’s right, Millie told Honoka that the Sensei was a good person, so that’s why that she can be trusted. Millie doesn’t trust many people. When Paife revealed that she was the teacher of Millie, Honoka was suprised as well, and decided to call Paife Sensei. After the talking, they are going to sleep.

Honoka, Bogie and Paife see something strange during the night. The enemy that we saw the last episode in the eathouse. This turns out to be a great PSP, gun, tank fight. Really, I loved it. Honoka was too cool, Paife raised in my appreciation, Bogie rocked too for so many guns and so. But, we see another side of Paife. She kills them all, where Honoka just paralizes everyone. Paife says that you should cut the head of a poisoness snake. She is a murderer. She was in the same situation as the enemy not long ago, but because she has no philosophy or something, she was kicked out of it. That’s why she has all that enemies. Paife assumes that Honoka sees her differently, but Honoka believes that Paife isn’t a bad person, because Millie says she is allright, and Millie is always right. That moment, the bastard of the last episode jumped out of his PSP, transformed in a beast and ran to the two of them. Paife shots all she has on him, and in the end Honoka slices him in two. She is shocked because she killed somebody, even when Paife wants to thank her.

She turns around and sees that Iks has returned. But there is something wrong with her expression, probably the feeling that she has about everything. I wonder what will come, because she put on a mask the minute she spoke to him, and they went inside. Nice cliffhanger, Paife realised what ‘that kid’ was. What kid?

I liked this episode, but I’m a bit worried. I let out all of the Third stuff during this review, just because I didn’t understand it. I know that something is about to happen that can rebuilt the Great War, but I don’t understand more. I guess my English skills failed me here.
Also I’m wondering about the ‘possessing powers’ of Paife in the last episode. What is Paife?
And how on earth did Iks get to the tank, while didn’t know where they should be and we can learn about episode one that in the night wandering in the dessert can be lethal for someone. Iks knows something, or is something. What?
And of course, what is Worm Hole driver?

I’m looking forward to the next episodes.

Ouran High School Host Club 15 - Refreshing vacations

HARUHI IS KIDNAPPED!!!
No, she isn’t. She is on her holiday, and that’s why she is not answering her phone, so Tamaki doesn’t have to go berserk to call everyone out of bed.^^ But well, it was TOO funny, so I can’t complain. Also the paintings by Tamaki, pay attention to the one of Hikaru and Kaoru, I wonder how that could be..

Haruhi, meanwhile, is working at the most beautiful summer place ever, a place with a K. Forgot the rest of it. Gomen ne sai. She works in a pension, and she looks really cute. Sorry, I had to say. But it’s the truth! She feels a bit sorry for not letting the Host Club know, but ‘they have other business to attend’. Baka, I thought you knew Tamaki by now. But it’s right, because if he knew, he would have paid a ‘little’ visit.^^ Just the moment she thought this holiday was going to be it, this happened:

Well. Because you didn’t call him, he thought you were kidnapped.^^ Wave goodbye to your holiday.

Because, they ALL come! Haruhi can’t make them leave because she hasn’t the right to do so, and also because it’s illegal for a Ouran student to have a part-time job. She has no choice, to accept them. Small problem: There is only one spair room. Who’s going to get it?

Hikaru and Kaoru make up the most wonderful idea. They are going to work one day at the pension, and the one that’s the most refreshing, and the greatest in it, he can have the room. That’s going to be a though game for Tamaki.

Honey can only eat, Tamaki hasn’t got the experience and he pays to much attention at being a whiner, Hikaru and Kaoru make a good job, Kyouya is smart enough to not participate, and Mori is as cool as ever.

But somehow, Kyouya wants to let Tamaki win, because it’s obvious that the twins will be the winners of the game. The twins say that they don’t have any intention to lose. That can be dangerous, we all remember the ‘fight’ between the two of them. They had it all planned. This can’t be good too.^^

Tamaki is going to play the piano. But well. The plan of the twins never fails! I won’t tell, but it was the best scene of this episode.^^

The next day, when Tamaki dropped by, Haruhi was recognized by another boy. Probably a childhood friend. Arai-kun. This can be too hilarious for the coming episode with a hysterical Tamaki and the twins taking action.^^

I enjoyed the beginning of the episode, but it got a little weak in the middle. But the twins made up for it. I’m beginning to like them, they are starting to be the greatest characters of this anime!

Utawarerumono 16 - Boring!!

This was the most BORING episode ever! I can’t believe that I stand watching it!

In summary: The war is over, they are rebuilding, they are happy, they have a few fighst, Kamyuu is drinking but she remains thirsty, Hakuoro has nightmares, Eruruu helps him, they are happy. HOWW NICE. And plain.

But I’m wondering about Kamyu, what on earth there could be. It can’t be something light, because otherwise it wouldn’t be such a problem. This is going to be something. The cliffhanger was as strange as ever, and I’m not worried about it because it will all turn out the good thing. If I’m wrong, I’ll write a more decent review about this. *yawns*

Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni 15 - Rika, the prophet

This episode really shocked me. But well, let me tell about it. We start todays episode with the kidnapped brat. He has pain, so the kidnappers make sure that a docter arrives. Irie arrives, he checks him, and the brat happens to have a surgery scar. Of a traffic incident. More isn’t told about it. Meanwhile, Akasaka and Oiishi go to the same place to find some trails that can be found with the lost wallet. They run into Irie, and Irie tells them that he has seen the kidnapped brat. He tells them the hide-out place, and Oiishi and Akasaka go to that place to suprise.

Akasaka tracks down the one that carries the kid, and after some commotion, he is shot. When things really look bad for Akasaka, Oishi is to the rescue and saves his life. The kidnappers run of, and Akasaka faints.

When he wakes up, he is in the hospital of Irie. Oiishi pays him a visit and they talk about what happened. The kid is rescued and is being taken care for, the damn project has stopped, the minster has the project cancelled, because his grandson was taken hostage. In other words, the two didn’t have to bust in to the criminals, because the kid was going to be released anyway. That’s isn’t such a nice thing. Further, it appears that the two criminals were trained, because they shot precisely, and they couldn’t have pulled of such a fight. Oiishi leaves.

In the evening, Akasaka tries to call his wife because he wants to know what’s going on with her. But, the hospital phone line has been cut. And so is the one outside, so is the phone cells line been cut. Akasaka doesn’t understand it, and he meets Rika once more.
She says that he doesn’t have to call, because he only will be sad. She wants him to go back to the hospital, and they are going to take a walk back. This is the night of the Watanagashi, and they take a look. They are all just drunk. Rika says thatthe Watanagashi isn’t right to be this way, and they go to the highest place of the Shrine, to talk a bit. And then, it is getting shocking.

She says that it’s been decided that in a few years, she is going to be murdered. Just think of it, what shall she be? 5? That you know when you are 5 that you’ll be murdered in another 5 years. That’s a true nightmare. Akasaka doesn’t understand it, he is shocked too, but Rika says that it has already been decided.

A few years later after the year 1983. Oiishi is retired, Akasaka and him have a reunion. What appears? The wife of Akasaka died that night that Rika cut all the phone lines. The child could be saved, but, she died herself. She was looking at the sunset that evening, and when she walked down the stairs, she tripped and fell. She didn’t survive the fall, but she said that she wanted to look at the same sunset as Akasaka, even if he were far away. That’s why Rika told him to go back to Tokyo, or he would serious regret it. It wasn’t a hint for his own death, no, but for the death of his wife. And most of us were fooled that way. I was too.

The reason of his visit to Oiishi is to understand more about Oyashiro-sama and more about Furude Rika. What happened? In the year 1983, after Rika was killed, the village was murdered by the gas. It was because of the reincarnation of Oyashiro-sama was killed, people lost their fate in the god and they mocked the death. Then, the whole village was killed. Just like in the previous arc. The death of Rika is also the same and so on. Then, it’s really getting sad, because we get a flashback of Akasaka what happened more on that night that Rika predicted her own death.

She predicted all the victims of the Watanagashi! How can a kid do such a thing, it was too sad to see, and Akasaka was getting more confused every second.

Even her own death came to the topic. But the strange thing is, that Rika is against the dam project. So why has she has to die? She tells Akasaka that all she wants is to live happily. That’s her only wish. She doesn’t want to die.

Can you imagine? When you are about a year of 5, you know that you have only 5 years more to live, and then that you’ll be tortured to death. It’s horrible. I wonder where the next episodes will be going, there are some people that have survived the gas, like Keiichi, maybe will Akasaka visit them to learn more about the death of Rika. He is too shocked by it. I’m too. It’s horrible.

Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu review - 88/100

The jungle has always been nice, and then came Guu.

Name: Weda.
Age: 25
Likes: Binge drinking, alcohol, alcohol, sleeping, alcohol, more alcohol and being childish, letting her son doing all the housework.
Dislikes: Work.
Rest: She came to the jungle when she was fourteen. She came from the city, lived in a rich family, but got pregnant, and her father rejected her and she went to the jungle.

On a day, the mother Weda brought to her and her son a girl that she found. The girl has no parents left and is allowed to live with Hale and Weda.

Meet Guu! The first day that she arrived, was just like heaven for the son. You have to face, Guu is very cute. They play some games and after a good day, Hale and Guu are going to sleep. The next day, when Hale wakes up, we see Guu once more.

Name: Guu
Age: Unknown.
Likes: ‘eating unusual stuff’, tormenting Hale, giving Hale a nervesbreakdown, irritating Hale, picking on Hale, confuses Hale, making Hale worry about a lot of things and making the situation even worse.
Dislikes: Unknown.
Rest: She has a big, great stomach, and some ’strange’ power.
Human: Unknown.

Name: Hale
Age: 11
Likes: Normal things, normal games, normal people, normal schools, normal homework, normal mothers, normal fathers, normal friends.
Dislikes: Weird things, weird games, weird people, weird schools, weird homework, weird mothers, weird fathers, weird friends, his father, cold.
Rest: Hale can be a bit rashly sometimes. He reacts too quick, which makes him an easy target for Guu.

When Hale found out about the other things about Guu, his life changed. Guu is for the rest of the anime always at his side, doing the most stupidest things ever, just to annoy Hale. And when I mean that, I mean everything! Guu has some times the tension to eat everything she sees, including Hale, and spit him out afterwords. Hale has so much to worry about, that it’s driving him mad.

This is the most fun thing ever seen, I’ve laughed so much about it. The only problem is that you can’t tell anything about this. The episodes are randomn once more, it is in a jungle, in a small village, and Guu is always making some trouble.^^ But the fun thing about it is, that only Hale notices what’s wrong and tries desperatly to make it normal once more, only encouragement for Guu to make the situation even worse.^^

You have to see this! It’s brilliant. The characters are great, Guu is just brilliance, the OP is catchy, the humour is great. After a while, even a storylines appears, and it’s great once more. The only thing that bothered me in this anime, was the ending. But well, we can’t complain, after this we are going to watch Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu Deluxe, after that one we are going to watch Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu Final. I hope that some of my questions are answered there, but I think that Guu will never be explained.^^ I recommend this anime to everyone that loves a great laugh, and loves humour!

xxxHolic 14 - Twins

This time, after that time that Yuuko took Wanatuki to a foodmarket, he spotted twinsisters. The one was optimistic, the other insecure. The next day, he finds the insecure, older sister of the two of them. She lost a contact. Wanatuki offers to help her out, but she says that they won’t find it anyway. A strange aura appeared, making a strange sound. Perhaps, only Wanatuki can see.

He talks with Yuuko about it, and she says that he didn’t find it because he didn’t find it, but he didn’t find it because he can’t find it. She was mysterious about it, and said something about the power of words. This could be because the sister gave up, before she even started searching for it. With that attitude, you won’t find anything.

The next day, Wanatuki talks with Doumeki about it after complaining why he has to lunch with him.^^ Doumeki thinks that the twin isn’t even human, because it might been the same thing as with the Vestal spirit. I doubt it.

The younger twin works there. Because she wants to thank Wanatuki for what he has done for her big sister, she invites them to drink some tea and eat some cake in a shop. The other sister arrives and they are off. The younger one has some interest in Doumeki, and the elder sister is really quiet, and if she says something, it is this line: I knew that this would happen.

After this, it isn’t still enough for the younger sister. They go to the movies, a horror. Wanatuki objects because he is afraid of the evil spirits there, but after seeing the elder sister, he decides to go.

The younger sister is trying to hit on Doumeki, and the younger sister is freaking out, while Wanatuki is busy to ignore the spirits that are attracked to him. This episode ends with a scary cliffhanger, and I don’t know what’s about to happen. We can say for sure, because the younger sister is so popular and wanted, that the younger sister feels less and becomes more and more insecure. The younger sister doesn’t notice that it is her fault for not thinking about her own sister, but invites her everywhere. I’ve seen it before with twins.

Utawarerumono 15 - The bastard is dead!

How unexpected. I don’t think that anyone would have sit on the edge of their chairs because of this ‘heartbeating’ *coughs* episode, because we all knew the the Bastard was going to die. But somehow, while the plainess continues, this story is taking a strange turn. Hakuoro transforming? Where are we, Dragon Ball Z? I don’t like that part, because it’s a bit.. plain. Too. Shameful enough..

Well in summary: Benawi&Co dealt with the army and defeated somehow fifty thousand man. Probably because they are the good guys, but the last episode, they were scared because they thought it were ten thousend. This.. is a bit weird, that they managed to defeat them. Well. They ARE the good guys, and the good guys NEVER fall in a plain anime.

Talking about the good guys, Hakuoro&Co is in the castle of the Bastard, Yue. Karuru smashes people in half, the rest is fighting, Hakuoro is angry. The badguy, annoying. Hakuoro gets really angry when he finds out that the city is lit on fire. Even for a bastard like this, it’s a mad idea. But still, plain. Hakuoro is possesed by a curse, well, that explains a lot to me. Plain. Hakuoro transforms, kills the bastard in a second. PLAIN. How unexpected. I would have loved that Hakuoro accidentally killed some of his own people, but no. I think we WILL see more about the demon, and I’m still wondering who that Angel might be. But well. It’s too plain to me. I’m watching this because I like the OP, and because I like the art style.^^ I’m wondering where this story is going to go now, it’s an anime of 26 episodes.

Tsubasa Chronicle 37 - Mokona, the storywriter!^^

They arrive in the next world! The first thing to notice: Why are they looking so weird? And no, it’s not because this anime is low budget.^^ The second thing: Where is Mokona?! He/She/It can’t be far, because they can understand each other, but still. They go looking for Mokona, and all the characters that already appeared in the anime are there too, in weird style, and even so the circus. Fay says it’s a fun world, and: The fun is even becoming greater!

Mokona found a feather! And a drawing. Syoaran, Fay, Sakura and Kurogane were there. They were into the world of a story. The woman that we see here in the picture explained that she has power to make stories like she wants to happen and so. She has a magical pencil is powered by the feather. Mokona wants to give the feather to Sakura, but little problem: She fell into the story. So Mokona has to write a new story in where the whole bunch will fall into the real world. And there.. is where the fun begins. ^^ After some ‘problems’, Mokona erases the world where they were in, and wrote a whole new (funny, very funny^^) story. In a school.

With Kurogane as the annoyed teacher! ^^ I laughed so much when I saw this, and tried to imagine what Kurogane would do if he found out that Mokona sees him as a teacher. Sakura is in the class, Syoaran is the transfer student. We know, it’s cliché, but Mokona wants to get to know each other in Mokona world. Mokona has the time of his live.

When I saw this, I had too.^^ This is too horribly cliché, because in Mokona land, Sakura and Syoaran were childhood friends and said Sakura that she was going to become the bride of Syoaran, where Syoaran smiles and says he remembers.. Talk about original. They talk a bit, becoming friends, and there is the time to introduce Fay into the story. Fay is in this story the weird science teacher, and he takes Syoaran to the ruins^^ because he has to read something there.

The ruins were Mokona statues. The expressions of Sakura and Syoaran and even Fay are far more priceless.^^ We meet there the two that were in the previous arc, as the archealogic (hope I spelled right!) and his assitant. Syoaran reads the ruins, telling that they should not move the golden vase because a monster will be realised. What vase?
The vase in Fay’s hand! The monster?

Don’t ask.^^ To save the world, Sakura and Syoaran have to kiss.^^ The end can be concluded too when you see the couple of the previous arc. A giant Mokona saves the world, and sucks everyone into the real world.

They don’t remember. It’s really a shame, because I would have loved to see Sakura and Syoaran being shocked again about what they almost did, Fay laugh, and Kurogane chasing Mokona.^^ They talk a bit about the previous world, if it’s right to change the future, Fay gives the answer, and they are off. With the feather.

I SO loved this episode. I was already a Mokona-fan, but well. Let’s say that Mokona is just wonderful.^^

Tsubasa Chronicle 36 - Everything becomes clear, once again

With this episode, we end this arc, and we go to the next one. We remember the what I call ‘turtle’ cliffhanger, that Ashura went to Yasha, kissed him, and he became a ‘turtle, or, the feather of Sakura. Ashura explained Syoaran and Sakura the situation. Yasha died a long time ago, he was just an illusion, created by the powerful feather. Thanks, I could have used that information some time ago, but well. This is Tsubasa Chronicle. Ashura told that Yasha became ill, that’s why she could have give him the wound on his eye, because they are supposed to be equal. On the night he died, his soul came by and said goodbye to Ashura, just like the dream of Sakura. But the next day, he still arrived, as an illusion. Thanks. Mystery one solved.

Mystery two, what is the wish Ashura talked about?

She claimed the castle, the castle was about to explode. Her wish was too great. Her wish was, as one all could guess, to revive Yasha. But no one can revive the death, not even the ones that are called gods. Syaoran&co already learned that on their journey. Mystery two, solved.

Mystery three: How on earth are they gods in the other world?!

Ashura asked Yuuko if she could grant her wish to make Ashura and Yasha gods for the next generation, to let them furfill wishes and to live on. Or something like that, it was a little complicated, and with this warm weather, my IQ has decreased.^^ Mystery three: solved.

With the exploding castle, Kurogane and Fay and their powerful horse looking creature, save Syoaran and Sakura, and they are in the next world once more. Then, mystery four: Why didn’t Fay and Kurogane recognize Syoaran and Sakura?

They arrived in the land of Yasha, but they couldn’t understand each other, because Mokona wasn’t around them. But Kuro-pi could understand somehow their language, so Fay just pretended to be a quiet guy and let Kuro-pi do all the talking. Well, that’s nice, but the rest? Their eyes? Somehow, how longer they were there, how darker their eyes became. Nice. And the rest, Kuro-pi said that if Syoaran knew that they were indeed Kurogane and Fay, that he wouldn’t fight seriously. Bluntly put: It was an act. Thanks. Mystery four solved.

Mystery five: What happened then with the land of Shana?

The two clans, were happy and getting married. Because the gods were not separated, their people hadn’t a reason to fight anymore. So that’s solved too. And then something difficult came which I didn’t really understand, because it appeared they travelled through the time or something. I can’t explain it, neither really full understand. ^^

Mystery six: The badguy?

He is pissed off, because it came clear that ‘That Witch’ can travel through time as well. She is the only thing that is on his way, Cloud Reed, whoever he may be, is dead. Mystery unsolved. He is planning on doing something, but what, and when, and how and so isn’t clear yet.

Meet Kyo. She is 15 years old, Middle School Student.

Meet the younger sister of Kyo, Asu. She is nine years old.
These two sisters live together in one room apartment, because their mother has died, and their father has a great debt because he gambled. He is missing. The two sisters have to take care of each other. Kyo takes care of the money with newspaper bringing everymorning, Asu takes care of the house and so. It’s weird to see these two live together, because they are both kids, and both they try to be more nice to eachother and to look more after each other. But they are doing fine, but sometimes, they fail to realise. The beginning episode was something about a festival. But I consider this as randomn, so I won’t tell anything about it. I think I’m going to continue to watch this. Somehow, I enjoyed this episode (you don’t see many people talking to their piggybank^^). But sometimes they annoyed me for a small misunderstanding. But well. They are kids with great responsiblity. I like this.

Fruits Basket 14 - The Bagpipe guy!

A New character is in the anime! Meet the snake of the Zodiac, Aya! As we can see, Yuki isn’t fond of him. But that is only because he is insulted by what Aya did the moment ago, which I will remain in silence. Let’s say that it was so revolving that I don’t want to talk about it.

Meet Aya in his human form. Somehow, you have to laugh about it. The creators thought it was a good idea to give Aya his own melody: bagpipe.^^ If you hear that guy talk with that bagpipebackground, you can’t be serious about anything at the moment. Aya is the brother of Yuki. That suprised me too, because I can’t really imagine for Yuki having a brother. He seems like a lonely guy, without a sibling or so. Well, the fact that Aya is his sibling doesn’t change the fact, because the two of them.. They don’t get a long that much. And I can understand, because let’s face it. Aya is a total weirdo.^^ Because Aya is the snake of the Zodiac, he transforms when it’s cold. Snakes are reptiles, coldblooded creatures, it’s logical for him to be so. That’s also the reason of the ‘revolving’ situation, at the beginning of this episode.

I don’t know how I should see this moment. We know now that Hatori, Shigure and Aya are childhoodfriends, but luckily I’ve already seen this anime and I know that Shigure and Aya are only kidding in what they say. We know that Shigure likes to make a fool of people and say weird things, this was SO weird. And wrong. Lets say: It was so revolving that I don’t want to talk about it. A line that will be used several times this review.^^

Because of the weird introduction that Aya made with Tohru, he invites her for lunch! Tohru isn’t good in this kind of situations, and she feels like she is swept away. But even so, they talk about the ‘brotherly bond’ that Aya and Yuki have. Aya is ten years older then Yuki is, and even so, he is raised freely, doing what he wanted to do and so. He wasn’t aware of the fact that he had a brother. This has formed a gap between the two and they can’t come close to eachother because of it. Aya came by to meet Tohru, he came also by to see how Yuki was doing. It’s been several days since Yuki was confronted with his worst fear, and Aya was worried about his little brother. But Yuki seems doing fine. It dissapointed Aya because this was his chance to be a brotherly figure to Yuki and so on. Aya is trying so hard to get to know his little brother, that Yuki is annoyed by it and doesn’t reveal anything about himself, what makes Aya even try harder and so and so. Tohru says she wants to help.

At home, Yuki is asked if he dislikes his brother, and Yuki answers that he just doesn’t know what Aya is thinking. Well. We’ll be honest. The ones that cán understand how Aya thinks, please be so kind to raise your hand and tell it personaly. Aya says he wants to stay over the night(s).

Here he is at breakfast, after another revolving situation that Kyou has experienced. We know what Kyou does when he gets angry, so.^^.. After three days, he still doesn’t want to leave.

They go to school and Tohru talks a bit with Haru and Momiji about the situation back home. Haru seems to understand the situation when a very down Yuki walks by. Haru is taking action. Aya owns a shop too, and we will be hearing more about that shop. Let’s say already that this shop.. it suits the character of Aya.^^

At home, the revolving goes on and on, when Shigure and Aya talk about their own High School lifes. Aya was president of the Student Council, and we hear all kind of ‘weird’ stories. The expression of Yuki was just priceless after hearing how Aya convinced the chairman of his long hair. Let’s face it again, he just likes to lie.^^. Yuki is almost broken down, and so is Kyou. And that moment, Hatori comes in.

Aya goes home. How come so quickly? Aya only listens to Hatori, because Hatori has some things that Aya wants to have but he hasn’t got them. And they are off. Yuki says that that man can’t be helped, but he doesn’t really dislike him. Everything is fine, once more, and we will hear more about Aya.^^

I really liked this episode. I’m a snake myself according to the Zodiac, so it was interesting to see what the snake character is like in the anime. Let’s say that I’m not like him, at all. Thank goodness.^^ Aya is a wonderful character, but he is the weirdest sidecharacter I’ve ever seen. I’ve laughed so much and so loud when I saw it.^^

This was so stupid that I don’t even know where to start to advice people to not touch this anime. First of all: This anime is about idols. And of course, the main character is going to be one. And she is going to be so famous and bla bla bla. The main typical girl story about adolescence that dream to be one day so famous and participate all kind of dull programmes like Idols. This is garbage.

The girl is the worst kind too, she is a slow, dreaming of her prince (that she meets one minute later=.=), lookatmebeingcute, girl. She is ‘cute’, populair, annoying. I hate her. Adolescences..=.=. The girl falls in love with someone and after much trouble she realises that the guy is a mega star. Oh golly.=.= I hate this. The art sucks as well, the story sucks as well, the characters sucks as well, the music is garbage. Do I need to say more? I hated the talking annoying cat as well that has some powers to brush hair, scare away idiotic persons and is suposed to fill the role of an incredibly cute animal. It fails.

This story sucks. Stay away from it. This is my first, and last impression of this utterly garbage of the spring season. I can understand why it’s subbed so late.

Fruits Basket 13 - Akito and Yuki

Yuki, Kyou and Tohru are now second year students. Today, the ceremony starts, and this is the day that Momiji and Haru will join the High School life with the rest of the bunch. Because in Japan this is so important, Tohru ‘forced’ Kyou to come with her to greet the newbies. But, she has forgotten in which class they are.^^ While Kyou asks in which class they are, Tohru spaces off.^^ Too funny. Once again. Kyou warns her that when she is alone, that she has to be on her guard the whole time, but she doesn’t really understand. But when she is with Kyou, she can space off all she want. See the picture.^^ I find it amazing for someone to space off that much. I wish I could do that.

They found the class! And Momiji managed to wear the most ‘interesting’ schooluniform ever. He wears a girl uniform. But you have to say, he looks really good in it.^^ Yuki comes by as well, asking why on earth he is dressed up this way, but he is not the only one that comes.

Campus defense force, or: the student council. In Japan, the student councils are powerfull youth movements in the school and they can really make a difference. This time, the president is just angry at Haru because of his hair. Saying that it’s his original color doesn’t help, and the president goes on bickering at Momiji. Momiji’s soul is still a kid, so he can’t take all this critism. The president really sets his life at stake the moment Haru is pissed off.^^

We all know what happens then. Haru scared the hell out of the whole Student Council. That guy is good in his arguments, but: it’s a little scary and impulsive. And black.^^ I remain in silence because the most utterly wrong situation was used to prove the natural haircolor of Haru. I can guess what happens, but I have a strange feeling that it is a good thing that it wasn’t showed on screen. In fact, I don’t want to know anything else about it. The question of Tohru afterwords, gives Kyou and Yuki the permission to beat the hell out of that guy. The bell rings, Tohru is off. And then, plottwist for the coming time in this episode: Namely:

Akito is at school. And Tohru runs into him. That can’t be a too good situation.

Tohru is suprised by him and caught off guard. She doesn’t know how to behave in a situation like this, because she has never been in such situation before. She greets him, and Akito greets as well. The air was too thick in this scene, because we would have expect any moment an attack on her. Remember, this guy is the one that hurted the eye of Hatori. In the moment that Akito wants the two of them become friends, and we all know that he was lying, Yuki bursted in.

But, he is scared to death. Akito comes to him, and we get the most terrifrying scene ever. Akito talks to him and said that it was hurting to him that Yuki didn’t show up at New Year’s party. He has been tolerant lately, and yet, Yuki disobeys him. Yuki is more scared and scared by the moment. I wondered about this, because we’ve never seen Yuki scared before. With this scene, it all becomes clear. Yuki is abused, beaten, mentally tormented by Akito and is traumatised by it. That’s why he can’t stand the house of the Soumas, because he is reminded by all his memories of Akito. It’s too scary, even the moment Akito threatens to ‘re-educate’ him. We can all guess what that could be. Yuki is too scared by him, but yet, he shows up, to protect Tohru for what he fears that will happen: That Tohru will lose her memory and that he will be alone by himself once more. I also wondered about Akito. He is the badguy of this anime, that is clear, but even so, he incredibly soft. But he is manipulating, indoctrinating, and just too evil by doing that his soft way. He is the perfect badguy. He is cunning. I wouldn’t be suprised if he manages to do something to Yuki far more evil. The comment that he made that it ‘would be nice if Yuki had a nice High School time’ convinced me that we haven’t heard all of Akito. Later when Hatori and Shigure talk about the incident, we can see that it’s Akito’s mission to make Yuki unhappy. He can’t be happy when Akito is around, because Yuki is too scared by him, even now.

The tension is broken by Tohru, and she pushed Akito away. Akito leaves, and Tohru takes Yuki with her to play with the whole High School Bunch badminton. Yuki is happy once more, because there are warm people that he can trust and that can make him feel alright again. And that is something that Akito fails to see.

Wooot! 100th post!

Finally! *does a silly dance* I’ve reached untill 100! Within 16 days I’ve managed to post 100 reviews!..

Nah. That was a lie.

It has been 16 days since I’ve moved my blog from a Dutch site to an English side. On that blog, I already had posted some English reviews since May, so it was easily moved.^^ Well, except the pictures, that was a small problem because I didn’t have any. The pictures are still a bit weird, because some have already noticed that I use one picture to discribe the one post, and 8 to describe the other. Let’s put it bluntly: I just couldn’t resist.^^

Also, a lot must have noticed, I speak English badly. With this blog, I hope that my English writingskills will improve, that’s also one of the major points why I made this blog. I have to double my schoolyear because of my English skills, so I wanted to improve. And also because I like it to talk about anime. So don’t be hard on me. I find it extremely difficult to blog some anime, but I like challenges, especially  when I feel that I can’t write anything about it because itsn’t important. But my school said that I’m not good at analysing, that’s why I’m blogging those animes as well.^^

Don’t be hard on me, I’m still learning, and hopefully I get better, don’t forget, I’m still an amateur.^^

This was my celebration! Bye^^ I’m going to the post 200!

Fruits Basket 12 - Momiji, the genius songwriter^^

As promised, they go this episode to the Onsen, the Hot Spring. Momiji rented a van that brought them there, and the van is luxerious. Tohru just can’t believe her eyes, and she feels like a princess. Well that is fun and good, but a little howdoIputthis.., girlylike. That’s something that I don’t like that much, but I can’t complain, because this episode really made up for it!
They arrive at the Onsen, and they meet the most scariest womanhost ever! Because, she has a weak health, so she stays at the Onsen, but: She makes a lot of mistakes, has long eyes, and feels it as her duty to apologize all the time (GOMENE SAAAI!!^^) Too funny. She is also a member of the Souma’s, and her son is possesed by the Monkeyspirit.

The woman, Okami, shows the bunch their room, and that is the point for Momiji and Okami to scare Tohru and the point for Yuki and Kyou to make Momiji clear that it is indecent for Momiji to sleep in the same room as Tohru. But the attempts, how they bring it, they just don’t work.^^ This was a great time for me to watch, because it was as hilarious as ever. Momiji being such a whiner, and a small kid, that doesn’t understand what’s going on. I loved it. Okami was as scary as ever once again when she was apologizing again for something. The music that was used for it was just wonderfull.

They take all a bath. Tohru in the woman section, the rest in the male section. It’s separated by a wall, but to not feel lonely, Momiji thinks that they all should sing a song!

of course, Tohru agrees with it. And the song, made up by Momiji is just the most ‘beautiful’ song ever. Well… let’s say it’s original.^^

One has to say, Momiji is incredibly cute. And weird. And they sing, and they sing. Untill Tohru falls onconscience in the bath.

When she wakes up, she is saved by Okami. She apologizes for making trouble and being a burden, but she shouldn’t have said that.

There she goes again, feeling that it’s her fault because she should have said that it’s easy to get dizzy in the water. Okami asks who the woman in the picture of Tohru is, and Tohru tells about her passed away mother. Later when she takes another bath, she talks with Okami about the son of Okami and we get to know Okami a little bit better. We call the son of Okami Monkey-san untill he is seen in the anime.^^

At dinnertime, it’s more scary then ever.^^ The Cook has arrived, and we can all see, they are cousins.^^ The reason should not be important, anyone can guess here. Use your imagination.

Meanwhile, Yuki and Kyou are pingponging, and it’s the most ridiculious scene ever, because Kyou is just hitting and Yuki is obeying the rules of the pingpong. This pisses more and more Kyou off, and that’s pissing Yuki off, and at last, Tohru offers to face Kyou in the pingpong. But she missed bluntly, and that was the reason for Yuki to walk away. Tohru is worried about him so she goes after him.

She finds him LAUGHING. Yuki has never laughed before, and he went away from Kyou just to laugh, because Tohru missed it so bluntly. It was a nice scene, really nice! Yuki gave Tohru a White Day gift, and Yuki was just wonderful. Have I already declared my love for Yuki too? Well. This would be a good time.^^

The last discovery made: Momiji is 15 years old and will be going with Haru to the same school as the rest of the bunch. The reaction of Tohru was just too priceless to be true!^^
