Samurai Champloo 9

This time, they have to pass a border. In order to pass, you need a passport. Mugen doesn’t have one, Jin has lost it, and with Fuu it can’t be too good either. Their ‘luck’ arrives when a salesman offers them some passports. It is fake. Of course. Because it was fake, they are sentenced to death. But something changes and if Mugen can deliver a head through the mountains (the place of a notorious clan) and can come back before the nightfall, their lives are spared. But that that baka like Mugen has to do this.. Fuu is verry worried about it.^^ It gives us some really nices scenes with Jin and Fuu, and it’s too typical^^

"He wouldn’t run off, would he?""
"Hm."

I’m suprised that Fuu manages to spend a whole day like this^^ Mugen, meanwhile, meets the clan. And let’s face it…

He goofs off. Of course, he gets captured. It couldn’t be any else. The clan is a Buddishtic army that wants to take over the world and free the world from the samurais. Mugen is sentenced to death by the next morning. A guy from the border tries to save him, and ended up at getting caught himself. But he is handy and sets the place on fire. In the commotion, the two escape and run to the veilds, killing the rest.

The veilds are set on fire too, and spreading a purple smoke. We can only guess what that smoke could be. ^^ Drugs, anyone? The smoke spreads to the border, and because Jin and Fuu are on a higher place, they don’t inhaled the smoke. And that is a good thing, because everybody couldn’t stop laughing. And that is a good thing, because Fuu and Jin were sentenced to death because that Baka didn’t show up. Jin and Fuu escape in the commotion, and on their way, they spot Mugen, laughing with the clan. Stoned.^^ Leaving a very angry Jin and Fuu. The end. The rest: use your own imagination^^

They are all starved again. So what do you do to get money when you don’t have the energy? YES! You sell some of your possesions. But because that man is corrupt and doesn’t take a high price for the swords, Jin’s glasses have to believe it. Well, Jin, it’s better then losing your swords. Right? *wink wink*

Meanwhile, we have a Narcist. That we will call Narcist because I’m to lazy to remember his name. He thinks is is the greatest men on earth and he wants to beat the strongest men on earth. He heard of a dojo, with a amazingly strong master. The master was killed already by the time he got there. Who killed the master? Yes, a guy named Jin with glasses. So he challenges everyone who carries glasses, no checking of the name is Jin. Only to do so, he believes that he can be famous. He is an asshole. I didn’t pay attention at all when he was babbling, because I hate arrogance. The Narcist is attracked to Fuu, Fuu thinks he is a weirdo.

A adresse is given to Fuu, and the weirdo is off again. When she starts to brag about that guy hitting on her, the guys are invited to drink with some bitch with cup D. Men…-_-.. But let’s face it, that woman is also the worst kind.

That woman can extremely good hold her liquid, Mugen and Jin not too well. Of course, they are robbed by the time they wake up. Guess who woke them up? An extremely irritated Fuu for leaving her^^

Don’t they look just poorly? Their own fault. Há. They find some interesting ways to make money, still completly wasted^^, and Fuu doesn’t dare to ask Jin about if he really killed his master. She thinks that Jin is just a nice guy and wouldn’t do such a thing. They meet the Narcist and co in the shop, because they want to get the glasses of Jin back. The narcist is shocked, but one of his followers beats him with speed. He was of the same dojo of Jin and wants revenge for his master. Jin accepts.

Jin did kill the master. But not because he is a traitor, in fact, the master did the traiter part. What more of that we’ll see later in the anime. The narcist is too scared to imagine when Jin defeats the other one, and runs off, with his wife: The Bitch. The end. I suppose. Nice marriage..

The bunch is lucky in gambling! (Or Fuu has just a lucky animal^^). By the money they’ve made, they go eat some noodles. Sounds nice, but Fuu is pickpocketed. By some Kid. We already had the brat, this is the kid. They all go after him, Mugen just knocks out people and only then he checks if the Kid is there too, Jin attacks tea houses and excuses himself then, and Fuu is waiting somewhere. The Kid comes home to his mother. The mother is ill, can’t live long. We already know then that the Kid is pickpocketing because he wants to buy a decent medicine. It’s just too sad. He is hiding it from his mother to not make her worry.

The next day, Fuu meets the mother. The mother thinks that Fuu is his girlfriend and they have a conversation about her son. Fuu doesn’t tell her that her son is a criminal. In the village, she meets the son again, but because the Kid has some pickpocketing records, other people find him as well. They want their opium back. Fuu starts yelling and the kid drags her away to a place. But.. when the cops come, the kid has no choice.

He takes Fuu hostage. They run into a building after the Kid threatened that he would killed Fuu. Fuu isn’t afraid of him at all, and they talk. Fuu totally understand his situation, because her mother has passed away, and her father left her a long time ago. She understands everything, and just when they were planning to escape, Mugen sees Fuu. ^^ And goes berserk because he recognizes the kid as well. And what do you do then?
Yes. You knock out the police. ‘What is he for guy?’ they all ask. Jin has the perfect answer: ‘An Idiot’. And he is so right. The Kid manages to get his first escape, gets caught. And is mudered, while Fuu watches. The episode ends when Fuu told the Kids mother about her son.

I totally loved this epiosde too! There is a girl, a quiet and nice girl, and Wanatuki noticed that she got wigns on her back. He found a feather, and the girl started to act weird. The time he got to Yuuko she immediatly destroyed the feather and warned him to watch his back because he could turn into dinner. Wanatuki sorts of understands.

The next day, the girls wings are bigger, and she acts during the autumn festival even stranger. She hits someone with a gun, and runs off. Wanatuki runs after her, and there we see a complete mental girl, attacking Doumeki and Wanatuki with a knife. The wings got bigger and bigger, and realised the girl. The girl fainted, but the winged creature came after Wanatuki. When he was cornered, our great Fox Pipe saved his live. The winged creature burned. And there we get Yuuko again. I so love her explinations about everything. The creature was a fallen angel. They conquer people and think for them, but it has to be some kind of human. The girl was a perfect target. You see it also on television. ‘He was always quiet, I didn’t expect him to do such a thing’ and so on.

There were also some few things ’bout this episode. Like Mono and Thingey don’t have a soul, therefore they can not leave Yuuko’s house. The Fox Pipe is in love^^, and the nice drawing of the girl. Nice episode.

The Melachony of Haruhi Suzumiya 60/100

What to tell about this anime.. First of all, the girl in the picture is Haruhi Suzumiya. A High School student. She hates humans because she thinks humans are boring and if anyone is a time traveller, an alien, or an esper, do please do so to join her. Sounds pretty weird, right? The other character is Kyon, the commenter of the anime. He talked a few times to Haruhi and at the moment she gets the idea at forming her own club and she has some nice methods to get her people in the club. The club counts: Haruhi, Kyon, Mikuru, Nagato and Koizumi. Guess what. Mikuru is a time traveller. Nagato is an alien. Koizumi is an esper. And there goes this anime wrong. They have all seen something strange about the girl Suzumiya, so they sent their own people to keep an eye on the girl. They also keep an eye on Kyon, because he is the one who started this mess. We’ve got a lot of things and names that I can not understand and a lot of really annoying monlogue, and so on. It is the fact that Haruhi wishes for something, it happens.

Well, I just can not understand why this anime is so populair. I would have loved if Haruhi was just a normal girl, but she isn’t. There is a big mess and it’s all just boring what happens. The reason for me to keep watching is because of Koizumi. I like that guy somehow, and episode 13 made me clear how that came. The other reason was because I believe that the art was just simply amazing. And because the anime got a catchy themesong^^.

When we got explinations of Haruhi’s behaviour, I was dissapointed as well. Haruhi is a pessimistic girl, the girl that is watching this is a born optmistic. I just can not agree with the things that made Haruhi like she is now, because she thinks that she is so small in the world. That can be right, but the whole world doesn’t matter. We just can not take on all the burdens and things of the whole world. You can’t be special doing that. But you can BECOME special in your own enviroment, to do things for people there, and be someone for them. To be yourself, then you’re special.

The humour was in the begin great to watch, the first episode was just brilliance as well. After that the humour gotten less, and the less got worse and replaced everything in drama that I could not understand. The climax sucks as well.

I recommend this anime for everyone who wants to see good art, a catchy themesong, and for pessimstics. I’m glad that I’ve seen this, but thank you, there will be no second time.
Ratings: 60/100.

The Melachony of Haruhi Suzumiya 14

After seeing this, the thing I thougt: Is this it? Is this the great, wonderful, populair anime The Melachony of Haruhi Suzumiya? Why? Is this the climax? It couldn’t be. It started so interesting after episode 13, but this. It was so predictable and so ANNOYING. Sorry for the Haruhi fans, this is just not my thing. Because this is a ‘climax’ I will remain in silence. Please explain to me, WHY on earth this is so good.

Wooooot! This was the best episode thus far! Yuuko has rented a summer house and invited Wanatuki (as a cook^^), Doumeki and Himawari to come as well. It’s a nice house, but meanwhile we get some blue words written on the wall, saying that she longs to someone, that she waited all her live for this day, and so on and so on. There is a blue flower in a blue vase in the kitchen too, just like the words said she would.

Doumeki and Wanatuki continue to bicker on. Well, Wanatuki continues to bicker. How more, I wonder why on earth he hates Doumeki so much. It just can’t be a logical explination. Doumeki must have done something to Wanatuki otherwhise we can conclude that Wanatuki is just a whiner. I think that must be it, because he can’t hate Doumeki for something like that..

They all go swimming in the morning, but Wanatuki realises that he can’t swim because the ocean is full of spirits that are attrackted to him. ‘Save me, say it’, says Doumeki. Why we don’t know, but even I had some problems with that line. I like Doumeki more then I like Wanatuki, but why would he say such a line. I’m not suprised that Wanatuki really got angry and went to sleep.

In the night we hear something that sounds like a mouse. It wakes up Wanatuki and he starts to investigate, because the sound of the wall couldn’t be right because it was the last wall of the corner. Wanatuki finds a new door, and after some thinking that he should call Doumeki, he goes in without him. He thinks he can do it alone. When he is in the middle of the room, he sees all written on the wall in blue ink: Get me out of here.

That is really frightening, and he starts to panick. Then a body comes to him, alive, and begins to be creapy, but still, Wanatuki doesn’t say the words that he needs. Doumeki turns on the light, and we see Mokona controlling the corps^^. It was a prank, made up by Yuuko and Himawari. If Wanatuki could ask Doumeki for help, Yuuko could have find a contract that would have kept away all the spirits from Wanatuki, so he could swim. Wanatuki is pissed off in the beginning, but after understanding that Himawari wanted to help him, he begins to be more calm. He askes about the vase and the flower. But it isn’t the work of Mokona and co. The nicest cliffhanger ever is that somehow, windows appeared in the wall, with curtains that were opening, seeing a woman. She is free? I suppose. I wonder how this will end.
