Fruits Basket the animation was made in 2001, and we are almost in 2008 already. I agree with you that the anime has left a lot of information out of the picture, but still there won't come a second season unfortunally. Every anime is always a lot softer then the manga and if you are a complete Fruits Basket freak, read the manga just like I do :) @ Yasmin: Don’t get your hopes too high. Yes. I have never had any experience or have ever been dumped. And just to make it clear, next week I'm turning 18. I know it might be weird for you, but I am a girl who has just simply no interest in this kind of things yet. Don't think that I'm just doing this for no reason, I have really thought about that and decided that I don't need those experiences yet. The reasons are personal, so you won't get to hear that. I like Fruits Basket because it's romance but there is still so much distance between the characters. The characters do get close, but they don't do anything with each other in that way. I believe they are satisfied with the fact that they can be with each other, and no more because it isn't even possible with that curse. There is a lot of romance anime, but they are all just the same. If you have watched one, you have watched them all, because it's all too typical: One guy. One girl. They fall in love and are the biggest teenagers I have ever seen and then we get our cliffhanger and in the end they are back to each other. And yes, I'm not interested in perverted humor. But I'm a girl and not a guy. And if I'm right, I have already setted in my 'title', all the way up, that I AM a girl. So... Form your own conclusions. I decide if I should diss anime.
