Utawarerumono 26 - The End! (Finally^^)
This was the last episode of this really weird anime. And now things really get strange! And when I mean strange, really strange. Dii and Hakuoro are fighting, and I really don’t understand it (once again), but it comes to the conclusion that Dii wants to guide people, and Hakuoro believes that they are an unneeded creature, because we have always the free will of people. People will move on by their own, and with this ‘thing’, Hakuoro and Dii are only creating pain and horror. Something like that. And Hakuoro is reminded of his past. NAMELY.
He and Mikoto have a daughter. But I don’t know if I can blame my own eyes, but she doesn’t quite eerr… look like Mutsumi. So we can conclude that he has another daugther, and that is Mutsumi. But who is this child then? Quite complicated. And why wasn’t it mentioned that he has TWO daugthers? Does he have more? Or something like that? After that, swearing that no ‘hardships may overcome this child’, they are captured and Mikoto is demoted. And also is his daugther. Hakuoro gets furious and kills off everyone in the lab. And after that, we see Mutsumi, sealing him towards the earth, because his fury was too great, and splitted him in two halves. WHY DON’T THEY LOOK LIKE EACH OTHER?! I don’t know if I’m the only one who thinks this way, but they don’t look like each other AT ALL. And why does only Hakuoro has the mask? And why does Dii have wings? And why didn’t Mutsumi take orders from Hakuoro in the beginning of episode 25. She is his daugther as well..?
Hakuoro made Dii and himself melt in one, once again, and asked Mutsumi and Utorii to seal him once again. And the final words towards everyone are spoken. And really, Kamyu is the daugther of Hakuoro! But.. Let me think. Because. Utorii is the SISTER of Kamyu. Who is her father?! … Or how many daugthers does Hakuoro have? And the things get even WEIRDER, because I believed that they already had a father..? And who is the mother? …
And of course the situation with Eruruu and Aruruu is even weirder. Aruruu calls Hakuoro ‘oto-san’, meaning her father. But at the end of the episode, Hakuoro confirmed that Eruruu is Mikoto, so the mother of Kamyu. And also then the mother of Utorii?… And if Aruruu and Eruruu are sisters, and Hakuoro is the father of Aruruu.. doesn’t it seem a bit weird for Eruruu to have something with him? Incest? I don’t want to think anything else.
After the kissing part, Hakuoro goes to sleep and everyone moves forward. I have never seen such a screwed up ending before. This doesn’t solve anything, because I only have more questions before I started watching the climax. That doesn’t seem so logical. Weird anime.
Errmmm….AHHH UTAWARERUMONO IS TOO COMFUSING!!! her married Mikoto and they keep saying that mikoto was actally Eruruu but some say that Mikotos daughter was Eruruu and that Mikoto had 2 children one named Eruruu And one named Aruruu. wichones wich? But some say that he killed his wife and children and that Eruruu and Aruruu are difrent persons!!???

I CANT FIND A REASON THAT ERURU IS MIKOTO
OR IT’S HUKUORO DAUGTHER..
AND SUMMORE.. THE 1ST AND 2ND EPISODE..
I CANT REMEMBER WHICH ONE IT IS.. LAZY TO FIND IT ALSO..
ERURU WAS SEEING HAKUORO BACKGROUND AND SHE FLASHED BACK ..

AND THAT TIME… ICEMAN WAS SEPERATED WITH MIKOTO…
ICEMAN WAS ONLY SHORT HAIR ..BUT WHEN SHE FLASHED BACK..
THAT FELLA HAD THE SAME HAIR AS HAKUORO..
SO NO WAY SHE FLASHED BACK WAS HAKUORO…
IT WAS HER FATHER… SO..
THAT MEANS.. THE THING TO SAY IS LEFT THAT…

THIS SHOW IS CONFUSING AT THE ENDING !!

NOT TO ERURU…BUT THEN ERURU HEARD IT..
THEN SHE GOT SHOCKED AFTER HEARING HER MOTHERS NAME..

HAKUORO=good half of iceman
dii=dad half
ERURU=hakuoro(iceman’s)daughter
ARURU=eruru’s mum
and basically that one being split dii and hakuoro in to 2 and dii was constantly trying to find a way of earth and hakuoro had no memory but in the end he realised that eruru is his daughter and he decided to leave earth to controle its self

The thing is, Hakuoro is actually an artifical creature that was awoken from it’s sleep and was splitted in two.
One part is himself, and the other part is Dii. One wants to destroy (Dii), the other one wants to be destroyed (Hakuoro). Whenever they’re awoken, they fight, though they cannot kill each other. All they really want is to sleep again, and be undisturbed.
About his past:
He and Mikoto are both artificially made. He had a child with her which survived,

That child is nor Eruruw nor Aruruw (probably), but somebody else. The point is, all of the characters and races in Utaware were made from his genes, actually, so they’re all his ‘children’ in some way.
Thus making Aruruw and Eruruw his long-distance granddaughters.
It all makes more sense if you play the Utawarerumono game, it’s much more detailed than the anime.

I have not seen the anime, but i played the game, everything (or atleast most)= “cristal clear”.
From Iceman’s genes meny meny “test subjects” were made, including Mutsumi and Mikoto.
When Mikoto and Iceman escaped that lab with the help of some professor, (all or most) of the test subjects were released so Iceman and Mikoto would have a better chance to flee (exept Mutsumi who coudnt escape).
Then Iceman and Mikoto were recaptured, Mikoto was dissected (and they were stupid enough to tell that to Iceman with a unconcerned tone).
Iceman then went on a rampage and granted the wish of some scientists for a body that wont die (they were turned in to something like a meat blobs or slim monsters).
Then Mutsumi sealed him, cause he(Iceman) didnt wish to cause such horrors…
Those test subjects who escaped are the ancestors of all the people upon the world (in which the tale takes place, as far as i know).
Thus you could say Iceman is the father of all humans since from his genes all the peoples ancestors were made, (and he killed all the scientists, sort of,
well none of those blobs can impregnate anyone, and even if some were over looked, normal humans coudnt live in the outside world).
As for who is Iceman.
Iceman was in his time a archeologist or a scientist, who found a fossil of a god, he was killed near the fossil and his blood awakened the god,
the god took possession of his body but he was sleepy soo he went back to his slumber (in the body of Iceman).
Alot of time later.
Those scientists i spoke of earlyer who made Mutsumi, Mikoto and the others found Iceman’s body and found that he could live in the outside world, while the scientists could not.
(They tried to remake his mask, and also make people capable of living on the outside world.)
After Mutsumi sealed Iceman, time passed (i dont know how much) and then he awoke.
The Iceman scientists (human side) and the god disagreed with each other. (or perhaps they were merged together and simply had a split personality, take it either way you like)
And split themselves in two, they fought furiously and separated, then one side stumbled upon Aruruw (being near dead) and Eruruw.
He made a contract that Eruruw will heal his wounds for eternity and he will save Aruruw’s life.
And his will was done, then he turned and capsuled himself in human form, Eruruw carried him home and he was later named Hakuoro.
Diy in the other hand was a philosopher who threaded sacred ground to where the now Hakuoro’s other half slept.
The other half possessed Diy.
Thats why one half has wings, and the other is the possessed scientist from eons ago, he was the original vessel, thats why he has the mask, i believe.

Iceman is Hakuoro, He and Mikoto had a child but they were captured and Mikoto was dissected. The child is one of Eruru’s ancestors, guessing that it lived after the whole incident and it had children, and it passed on the ring.
