The Third 13 - Just shut up and watch!

I have never thought that the art of this episode could be so horrible. I knew that it was going to be bad, really bad, but to be this!? It almost took away the pleasure of the Third, but then I realised that the characters didn’t change at all. So I stayed tuned to it. And I’m not dissapointed.^^ This was really an intermezzo, to tell more of the cases of Honoka and Millie.

Millie isn’t doing well. She falls asleep during the class, and Paife says that it’s because an emotional problem. The time that she saw her father dying. Honoka is really worried about her, and because due her own reasons and stress, she decides that she should take Millie (and Ikus^^) on a vacation to see the nice things of the desert.

And of course, we have the new badguy. This time it’s a guy with lonely eyes and a dark aura. And knows of the eye of Honoka. I’m looking forward to the next episode. This one, except the art, was great. And especially when Ikus, Millie and Honoka were talking about skirts.^^

The Third 12 - Awesome once again

I must apologize before I get started with this because I’ve put this off way too long. It’s just that I don’t have the time to blog at the moment because my school has started. And I have to work for it, for some particular reason. Also I feel that with this episode, the Third could have ended without a problem with me with a bad ending. So I feel, it’s a bit spoilerlike to tell anything about this. This all means: This is going to be short.^^

What happened to Paife? She got beaten up with all the Chi attacks that little brat tried on her. She was really cool in this and the way she defeated him was too awesome. I didn’t like the character Paife in the beginning, but I totally adore her now. She was awesome.

What happened to Ikus? Ikus told the boy about the war and the boy was so depressed by it to learn that everyone died. He said that humans have no reason to live, because they only like to kill each other. Ikus denies that, but he does say that he has travelled many times and met the source of unhappiness. I just keep on wondering, what is the purpose of him anyway? The boy planned to kill Honoka too, and the look on the face of Ikus was too great. And that he said that Honoka may be the one he is looking for.

And, what happened to Honoka? She was chased by her other self, and the discussion that those two had was once again, awesome. Honoka refused to fight and to draw her katana because she is afraid to kill people. Everytime she is reminded by it, she has to throw up because of it. Honoka#2 says that she needed to stop lying to herself, that she likes to kill, that she hates everyone because she is different. I loved Honoka here, when she started to scream. Wonderful. In the end, she was hit by the Honoka#2, but she stood up afterwords, and saying that she can’t die yet. When she dies, she’ll die with all the consequences of the ones she has killed, but this is not the time yet. She has all that strenght because there are so many that believe in her. That’s also a great power, that ones can get just because others believe in them. She kills the second Honoka and she is off for the boy. She finds him, and comforts him, and saying that they always will be together. It was too nice to see.^^Gravestone dissapeared, the laser stopped, world was saved.

Sorry for the quality of the review. I know it could have been better, but now is not the time.

The Third 11 - Becoming more awesome by the minute!

I truly adore The Third! This episode was just greater than the previous one. The music was awesome, the plot was awesome, everything was awesome. Paife was awesome, Ikus was awesome, Bogie was awesome, Honoka was awesome and you can go on for this for a while. They enter the warped space, because it was expending. In it, we see Paife in a city in the middle of a war. She has no clue what is going on, she just wants to see Honoka, and she doesn’t believe that they are in the desert. Just when all was exploding, Honoka cutted the chi with her katana and they were in the desert once again, but unable to move out of it.

Ikus explained the situation, and we also got the Third talk about it. They are in the Gravestone, a place where a spirit of a boy was been put to sleep who was in the Great War. Honoka still is called by something, and because of what happened earlier, Paife found out about her third eye. They put her to sleep and Ikus and Paife went talking. It seemed that Paife really begged her employer to go with Honoka because she really liked her. With now, that she seems to have killed someone, it makes her angry, but even so, she really likes Honoka. Ikus was just great in this. He really was. Anyway, Honoka wakes up, and she gots to be teleported or something. Paife panicks, and right behind her, Ikus transported as well. She finds the boy, and they talk and he says that she is going to die here.

Honoka is in a trance, and when she touched the black thingeything, she got into the city herself. It was weird to see her like this, and we now know what called her. But I consider that as a spoiler, so I won’t say anything. I wonder really what on earth is with Honoka. She is no ordinairy being, that is for sure. And even for the Third to show more interest in Honoka then in Ikus, she is something. But what?

and Ikus? He woke up the boy. No idea how, but he did it. THey talk a bit, and we find also the reason for the Third and this wormhole blaster something thing. The boy wants to destroy the earth that he hates. What is Ikus, what is going to happen. It’s going to be awesome, that’s for sure.

The Third 10 - The awesomness continues

Honoka is really beginning to feel unsteady. It’s also due because of the last episode. Honoka has never killed a human before. And she doesn’t get it because she has killed all kinds of other things too. But this person, she just can’t forget it. She already was unsteady, but this episode, it’s getting worse and worse. I think that she feels like someone is calling for her, out in the Time Warp. I just don’t know why. But what did bother me was a suggestion of Bogie that she has never killed a human with a katana. And otherwhise, yes, she has killed. I wonder what? I think it’s due to her eye. Remember those antthingeys? It must be something like that.

Ikus wakes Honoka up, and she bumps her head to the ceiling. Saying that it was nothing, she just went for a second under the shower, and giving Ikus the feeling that she isn’t herself and that something has happened. Bogie explains the nightmares, and Honoka says that it is nothing already. They go to talk a bit, about what happened and so. Honoka is really glad that Ikus is back, but she realises that he can’t be with her forever. She tries to be cheerful, but in fact, she is really gloomy. I know about that tactic. In fact, I use it myself. I so loved that moment with Honoka watching her feet. She wanted not to talk about it, but well. Ikus asked her if she could turn back from her mission. We already know that Ikus knows more about all kinds of things. With the end of the episode, I understood. The Third is firering a superpowerful weapon into the warp. Ikus is going there because has interest in it, don’t know why, but this will kill Honoka.

With Honoka feeling unsteady, Paife feels annoyed. Also because a man is on board the mission. And she hates men. With this, and the moment that Honoka never killed a human before (the face of Ikus was just wonderful) she goes to Honoka and scolds her. Saying that she should know that it is killed or to be killed, that she is holding back, that Paife is a killer and that she doesn’t care and so. Paife really gets so annoyed that she starts to fight her. But with and without weapons, Honoka is much and much stronger. Paife calls her later ‘a monster’. But that is maybe only because Paife was defeated for the first time. This fight was just awesome. I don’t really know why Paife did such a thing, maybe it was just to let go of her aggression or trying to get to feel Honoka better.

At the end, this is where they are heading. Honoka is called in this direction. I don’t really know what it is and what is calling her, but damn, I’m so curious about it!

And at the end of the Third, Joganki realised that Honoka is in life danger. With this weapon, the possibility to survive is just as much as zero. But they can’t take off the mission just because of her. I liked this moment because it was really shown that Joganki has feelings for her. Only Honoka is too stubborn to accept it and because she has Ikus.
Damn, what am I curious about the coming episodes. This was just great, with Honoka as their great leader. I can move me so much in that character.

The Third 9 - Paife

Remember the cliffhanger of the last episode. Honoka is requested to set out an investigation for the rampage of the sand dragons. After some negotiations she agrees with the proposal. Her tank will be repaired and her only condition was that Joey could join the adminstratation of the bunch that repaired the tank. This way, Joey’s skills can grow more and more, and he can become even more better. I like the fact that Honoka did this, because she knows that Joey doesn’t like admitting that he has his limits too, because he isn’t skilled enough. She helps him, and I really enjoyed that fact. Joey was very pleased with it.

Honoka takes off, and the feeling in her Third Eye is coming more and more often. Like some danger is on the way. Bogie talks with her about it, because she has been talking in her sleep more often. I would like to know what she says in her sleep about it, because Bogie remains silence about that part. I think that anyone would some times talk in their sleep, but if real words come out, that’s the question. I think Bogie wasn’t so concerned if he didn’t knew what she was talking. He knows. It couldn’t be any different. But then I wonder why on earth he doesn’t tell Honoka what’s she is been saying in her sleep too. I think he doesn’t do that because Honoka knows what bothers her, so it would have been irrevant information for Bogie to say it. Anyway, the conversation between the two of them is interrupted by some car, the car is driving towards the tank. Guess who.

She introduced herself as Paife, and goes inspecting the tank without saying a word about it to Honoka. When Honoka gets a little upset about it, Paife says that she has been appointed by the government to be a partner with Honoka on her mission of the sanddragons.

Even so, Honoka still feels that the danger is approaching. Somehow, she related it with Iks. I wonder why she would do that. I know that she is in love with Iks, that she misses him, and so on. The only reason that I can come up with is that Iks is somehow also a part of the danger. This may sound vague and I can’t tell it so well too, but another reason can’t be happening. Honoka will get shocked by Iks one day, and that won’t be so nice to see. I’m looking forward to that moment, though. That’s why Iks dissapeared for a time too.

Paife and Honoka talk that night. Honoka tells her story, some things she remains hidden. We also learn more about Paife. She is sent to spy on Honoka. Honoka isn’t suprised a bit. I wonder how that could be, I didn’t realise a bit. But well, I’m naive. It also suprises Paife that Honoka already knew, and we learn that Paife hasn’t got real friends, only enemies. I don’t think that’s right, Millie told Honoka that the Sensei was a good person, so that’s why that she can be trusted. Millie doesn’t trust many people. When Paife revealed that she was the teacher of Millie, Honoka was suprised as well, and decided to call Paife Sensei. After the talking, they are going to sleep.

Honoka, Bogie and Paife see something strange during the night. The enemy that we saw the last episode in the eathouse. This turns out to be a great PSP, gun, tank fight. Really, I loved it. Honoka was too cool, Paife raised in my appreciation, Bogie rocked too for so many guns and so. But, we see another side of Paife. She kills them all, where Honoka just paralizes everyone. Paife says that you should cut the head of a poisoness snake. She is a murderer. She was in the same situation as the enemy not long ago, but because she has no philosophy or something, she was kicked out of it. That’s why she has all that enemies. Paife assumes that Honoka sees her differently, but Honoka believes that Paife isn’t a bad person, because Millie says she is allright, and Millie is always right. That moment, the bastard of the last episode jumped out of his PSP, transformed in a beast and ran to the two of them. Paife shots all she has on him, and in the end Honoka slices him in two. She is shocked because she killed somebody, even when Paife wants to thank her.

She turns around and sees that Iks has returned. But there is something wrong with her expression, probably the feeling that she has about everything. I wonder what will come, because she put on a mask the minute she spoke to him, and they went inside. Nice cliffhanger, Paife realised what ‘that kid’ was. What kid?

I liked this episode, but I’m a bit worried. I let out all of the Third stuff during this review, just because I didn’t understand it. I know that something is about to happen that can rebuilt the Great War, but I don’t understand more. I guess my English skills failed me here.
Also I’m wondering about the ‘possessing powers’ of Paife in the last episode. What is Paife?
And how on earth did Iks get to the tank, while didn’t know where they should be and we can learn about episode one that in the night wandering in the dessert can be lethal for someone. Iks knows something, or is something. What?
And of course, what is Worm Hole driver?

I’m looking forward to the next episodes.

The Third 8 - This can become very interesting^^

I loved the first scenes of this episode! We see some mystery and Nazgul-look a likes, and then we skip to Honoka. She is just goofing around and watching the sky, when Bogie says that there something is worrying him. After some nice moments, they find out what it is: A herd of sanddragons. A catchy musictune is starting and some really nice scenes come with Honoka and Bogie trying to escape the sanddragons. Honoka gets in the PSP, and just with the moment that you think they’ve made it, they are hit.

Joey is going to be the one that must fix it, but we’ll be honest. The tank is one of Zanka’s masterpieces. Joey is not skilled enough already to completly fix it, but he will do whatever he can. Honoka takes Bogie to the hospital, because he could have had some damage. On the way they hear of Kevin that there are some strange people in the town, a cult organization. They claim that they were behind the sandstorm. After bringing Bogie to the hospital, and Bogie revealed that Honoka talks in her sleep, she takes off. She has a feeling that something not nice and not good is going to happen. I bet anything to say that it is involved with Ikus. She goes to eat something, and we get a new character involved.

We don’t know her name yet, only that she is the teacher of Millie. Yes, Millie goes to school! But I will tell some more later. She has some strange power, that she can control people for a short period. Not Honoka, probably her eye blocked it. Also she has a strange character, I would like to learn some more of her. But she has some potention to become a badguy, so I’m looking forward to it.
Anyway, back to the subject. Sensei drinks something and the Nazgul (so I will call that guys, because with hoods and so, they are just like the nazgul) try to hit on her. Don’t try.

Because, of course that would happen. The guys are completly under shot and when some other guy wants to help his brothers out, Honoka is to the rescue as well.

the guy leaves, after calling Honoka by her name and they take off. Sensei is grateful to Honoka, and wants to hypnotize her because she wants Honoka to keep her company. Try something else.^^

Outside, Honoka runs into Millie. She is as happy as always again, and she is showing so much strength. But too many strength isn’t also the best thing that someone could be.

With this cute, sweet, giddly face she tells that she wants to become just like her father. So she can work with Honoka together. Honoka is kind of shocked by this statement, but she does not tell her in her face that she is shocked by it. The ‘old geezer’ agrees with Honoka.
After this, Honoka runs into someone that has a job for her, also including the cliffhanger: she has to investigate the nest of the sanddragons. Muahaha. The Third has already seen that there is something that there that could destroy Emporium in less then ten days. I think that is a reason for sending Honoka out there. I espect that we will meet Ikus also over there. O jolly, I can’t wait.^^

The Third 7

I see this episode as a filler. It may be a filler, but it was a very nice episode, where you can see the desire of Honoka to protect something. Even is it is an armouned ant queen. Yes. In this episode, we see in the beginning Honoka bringing Millie to her new home. It’s quite dramatic, because we know that Honoka can’t take care of Millie, so she brings Millie to her aunt, and promises to visit.

Honoka has a dream when she is awoken by Bogie. It was quite hilarious, because Honoka was half asleep and didn’t remember that Ikus had ’some other things that he must handle and will catch up with them later’. I’m wondering, what on earth that may be. It can’t be good, everybody is so mysterious about that guy. I know that he is a good guy, or at least, I hope so, but something WILL happen with him, something that Honoka won’t like. And then comes the good part.
After some great reactions of Honoka that we know of her when people or machines ask her questions that she rather won’t answer (if she is in love) or the time when she is insulted, Bogie says that Honoka is awake. There are three ants. One on the roof, the other two on the ground.

Honoka takes a look, the one on the roof has wings, that the queen ant lets grow in the moonlight. The other two are the bodyguards. Bogie finds it troublesome, but Honoka wants to wait to dawn, because she wants the ant queen to fly. She referes the and queen to herself, by the time her grandfather died and she went on a queste on her own. She got wings then as well.

Other ants try to attack the ant queen, and by the time the bodyguards are killed, Honoka decides that she has a job to protect the ant queen. Bogie doesn’t let her, but he realise that she is as stubborn as ever and he can’t do anything about it. Just this one time he lets her. Honoka succeeds at the job, all being exhausted, and the queen flies.

They take off, looking at the sun rise, both Millie and Honoka. It was quite nice. The only question: Wtf is Ikus doing?

The Third 6

This was about the fight of Honoka. I won’t tell much about it, because my opinion is that could be a spoiler (and because I don’t have the mood to write at the momentemoticon). Honoka was filled with hatred, and she went berserk. It was nice to see, so many emotions. I’m a fan when characters show all the emotions that they’ve got, so I was really pleased to see this. I also really adored Ikus this time. I already thought he was an alien, and I was right. This kind of guys are too rare to see in this world. Unfortunaly.
Millie was too good to be true. I totally loved her.

The Third 5

After the collapsing of Millie, Honoka and Ikus stay on the place untill Millie will regain conscience. Honoka wants her to pay her last respect for her father. Bogie wants to go because they are in a danger area.

Honoka and Ikus go to the tank of Millie and collect all the stuff that may be of value of that they can use. We learn about the history of Millie. Her mother was killed by the same kind of idiots who dragged of a man in episode 4. By some bad luck. We also learn more about the past of Honoka. She is something I couldn’t really understand, and my lack of concentration didn’t really work too good as well. She has a Blue Eye, which means that she can be part of the Third. Her village where she was born hoped for that, and that their life situation would change. But: Honoka was rejected, as she were some kind of virus. Her parents let her child be adopted, because she wouldn’t fit no more in the village. A nice old man which we will call Grandfather adopted her in a caravan, and that is the place she grew up. It suited her. But she realises that she can’t be anything of Millie no more, because she found out about her eye. The eye who killed her mother. So she is really confused what to do now. Millie meanwhile has no intention to socialize, and is cold as ever. Honoka doesn’t realise what do any more. She thinks that she drops Millie off by an aunt of her. Nothing else she can’t do.

At the end of the episode, the Eye of Honoka showed her power. And it was good to see, a whole field of moonflowers! Honoka wants to pick one for Millie, but Millie (she were asleep) woke up, didn’t see Honoka in the tank, and got really upset and it was soo cute to see. She said to Honoka that she shouldn’t leave her anymore, Honoka is the only person she has left. It was so nice, the two made up again.

And of course the final cliffhanger: The Blue Breaker returns.

The Third 4

It has been a day since I hold a little The Third marathon, and so, I might be confused what happened in which episode and when. First you must know that the Third is one of the best anime of this season. I like all the characters.

Honoka’s PSP is finally ready, and she gets all giddly and just like a kid whose has got a new toys. She keeps on playing with that thing, she doesn’t stop, and it’s so cute to watch. After also some playtime with Mllie, Honoka and Ikus are off again.

But: Honoka sences something, and Oyasi-san is in danger. They go around, and they find the tank of Millie and her dad burning. Millie is on the outside, stunning, freezing, not aware what all is happening. It was a Blue Breaker who did this, and Honoka uses some kind of power. The Blue Breaker shows himself, but the bandage of Honoka fell of and we see an interesting devolopment. She has a Third Blue Eye. Millie sees this, and faints. The episode ends.

The Third 3

More conflicts, and just a normal episode. I begin to like Honoka. I can perfectly understand how she feels, and that is so cool. She is in love with Ikus, but she wants to deny it because she shames herself for that and because she thinks she doesn’t need something like love. That is for other people, not for her. She just has her work to do.

But on the other hand, she wants to be with Ikus, but she admires him from a distant. She doesn’t take any action to get the two more together, and that is so cool too! I like people better when they are admire then when they flirt. Honoka doesn’t flirt. That’s cool.

Further we have some more action about the Third, who is busting people for owning too much technology. Otherwise: bullshit. You can put a whole discussion about it, and I think technology is not a bussiness of the government. And not even in this anime.

Honoka also visited a perverted docter, and I had something of OMG, but thank god it’s not what I expected, he is somehow also different. But the reaction of Honoka makes up for everything. She is shy in this kind of area, and she is prudish. And it’s great to watch when that docter finds out that she is in love. Muahaha!

The idiots are looking for Ikus, and Ikus offers Honoka a job as a bodyguard for Ikus. We don’t know his real reasons, but I like it!

The Third 2

I’m a total idiot for not seeing this sooner. THE THIRD IS FCKING GREAT, AND I DON’T WATCH IT FOR SOME REASON I DON’T KNOW. Ah, well. I will scold myself later.

I like the Third. I like Honoka. I like Bogie. I like Ikus. I like Millie. There. Honoka is my age, but she looks so much older and independent. I would have loved her to be my friend. But I have that more often in Anime. She likes Ikus, and that is wonderfully done. Everybody mocks her and she is so cute in her reaction. Ikus is the most adorable guy ever by the way. He even may compare Yuki of Fruits Basket, and that dude was totally awesome. Ikus is more dreamily, and well.. out of this world. I can not deny that I like him as well. Awesome character. Millie is the cutest little girl you have ever seen. I love her too. Ghehe. I laughed so much with the fights between Honoka and Bogie. It was so nice to watch to be see Bogie being the wise guy and Honoka making the situation for her self worse, in the front of the guy she likes. So cute!

We learn more about the Third today. I would say it’s kind of autoritair, not the way we Dutchies have the ‘Eerste Kamer’ and ’Tweede Kamer’. A guy from the Third is in love with Honoka. And because some robotthingey that is forbidden by those guys, Honoka is forced to operate the deal by night with the father of Millie. They would be in trouble if the Third found out. There are a few fights, and because Honoka is distracted, she wasn’t the sharp as she was always. The Third Guy found out, and it was a little troublesome. I also wonder what on earth Ikus was doing, he certainly is on the run or whatever. I like him.

I wonder what will happen in the future, and now if you all will excuse my, I will scold my self in a dark space of the room. (Stupid girl, stupid girl…)
