Yoshinaga-chi no Gargoyle review - 68/100

This is what you would call a weird anime. Namely, it’s about a talking rock statue that vollows his life (if he even has one) to protect a family: the Yoshinaga’s. And it’s a real weird family too, we have a always happy mother, but if she gets angry she has a weird habit to break everything she sees (including the one she is mad about), we have a normal father, he is just an ordinary character, we have a daugther who acts like a boy and has a nickname "agressive girl" with serious kicking skills, and we have a very cute brother who acts like a girl and I just adore that guy.^^ And this is what Gargoyle (hilariously nicknamed to Gar-kun) is protecting. He is made with alchemy, and that is also a central point of this anime. At first, I thought that with Futaba, they have nothing to fear but really. How many criminals showed up in this anime.

You can call this anime messed up. They spent all their airtime to serious cases. At the beginning it can be touching, but they keep on whining about the side characters, instead of focussing on the family. A lot of time is spent to one particular guy: Hyakushiki. He is a villian, a thief, but also a caring father and I have to say that he is quite charming. But he keeps on focussing about the wellbeing of his ‘daughter’ instead of teaching her some nice tricks. I was so glad that he made a proposal to her that she had to steal the bra of the shopkeeper Iyo because that was hilarious.^^ But. Hyakushiki, such a charming and nice character, is most of the time only shown with one side. And that goes for all the characters.

I think that this anime needs a remake. And then be more sarcastically. Because when this anime is sarcastic, it is great and I laugh my head off. But that doesn’t happen, because they focus on the serious drama. And that is such a waste. Futaba is also shown too little, because she is the weirdest girl I have ever seen in a anime, and I would like to see more of her. But, that chance wasn’t given to her. I would like to see Kazumi getting angry for once, and Futaba being embarrased by something. That should be hilarious. I would like to see Gar-kun to threaten more people and using those super laser eyes beams more. But, we didn’t.

Don’t get me wrong, the drama is nice too, but it can be corny once in a while. And those characters have so much potention, it seems like a waste. We don’t watch this anime because of the art because it’s nothing special, the music is once in a while really annoying. I would like to see the characters.
Tell me when a second season or a OVA for a second attempt is announced.

Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto review - 80/100

Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto is just as the name says: hard to understand. I had a real problem to understand all the difficult dialogues in this anime, and even when it was subbed. Later in the anime I began to see a line in the dialogues and I wasn’t bothered by it at all. In fact, the weird, unable to understandable dialogue, is the worst point of Bakumatsu.

Bakumatsu is an history anime, that takes place in the 19th century, when the land opened its boundaries to other countries. We follow the life of a talented samurai, Akidzuki. And here is the point that this anime takes another turn from the history. We have the an evil Head, the Head of the Lord, that is possessing people for a nationalistic revolution. This Lords Head can be described as a phantom, of a guy who was killed a long time ago. Akidzuki has to kill this phantom and is searching this head. Meanwhile, we follow a theater group who is out on revenge.

I think one of the best points of this anime that you can’t really tell in the beginning who is evil and who is good. The guys who seemed to be good, appear to be the real badguys in the end of the anime. The evil guys are really well made (except for Jubei. He was just annoying) and their motives are all really well worked out. I loved to see Kanna and he jumped from the one side to the other, and of course Sousetsu.

Despite the not understandable dialogues, I enjoyed watching this anime. It is really cultural. That may sound weird, but I love to see different cultures, and with this war periode and also the Japanese theater (Oh, how I adored that!), I never caught myself annoyed when I watched this. You just watch because you want to see what happens, and what the not-understandable parts really are. And because of the art, and the music. The music is one of the best I have recently heard. These creators aren’t afraid to kill one or two characters off the cast, but all this is so really thought out that it almost made me cry.

The other problem with this anime is that you can’t really describe what happens in this anime or review it, because you can spoil this anime with that. I recommend this anime to anyone who isn’t afraid of cultures, and thinks that the dialogues aren’t a problem for him or her.

ps. Yes. I know. I haven’t updated in ages. This last month of school is the most important one, it can decide if I have to leave my school (I can’t double my class again) or that I can go to my final year. In one more week or two, it will all be over. A major update can be expected.:)

Fushigi Yuugi Review - 30/100

Behold: The cornyness of Fushigi Yuugi. It is so corny that it’s laughable.^^ I have never seen something that could be this bad.
Some may call me insane for watching this. True, I can’t deny that I didn’t call me that either at some points of this anime. I know I dislike romance anime. No, dislike is a small word. I hate it. Why would I watch this? The answer is simple: Because it’s so stupid it becomes funny and I just want to critisize the hell out of it. It’s an ancient anime, produced in the year of 1997, one of the first great anime. And you can describe this anime with two words:
1) Shoujo!
2) Soapopera.
Yes. It is really stupid. When you combine shoujo with soapopera, of course something stupid like a girl who falls in love with a guy and a lot of problems and bla bla bla.. you know it.
Also reminded Fushigi Yuugi me of Excel Saga. And that may be possible, because Excel Saga makes fun of a lot of anime. We can really see the Fushigi Yuugi reverences in Excel Saga. A lot of sparkles when the atmosphere becomes romantic, a lot of nice soft backgroundcolors, and the same stupidity when it comes to romance. That made Fushigi Yuugi even more fun than it already was.

Anyway! Let the critisize begin. You have here the prototype of a shoujo anime. Really. This bitch manages needing to be saved every episode, at least one time. Sometimes it’s even four times in ONE friggin’ episode. Of course she fell in love with one of her heroes (and she confessed to him only after FOUR friggin’ episodes! Even in a regular shoujo anime, that is really quick. We can’t underestimate the hormones of this bitch, can we?) and she is just whining about him EVERY episode that is really sickmaking or if you want to laugh, laughable. She has an annoying voice, is stupid as a cow, loves to eat, is stupid as a cow, is naive, hasn’t got a clue what’s going on, ruins every plan the other makes up, when she acts on her own she is saved 2 minutes after that (because, she is lost, scared, feels guilty, feels sorry, etc etc), can’t be honest with herself and others and she wants to commit suicide if she does something wrong again (of course, she is saved the moment she jumps in the river..), manages to walk with guys she doesn’t even know and after that she is suprised that she almost gets raped (of course, she is always saved the moment it’s starting to get really serious. And this happesn four episodes after each other that she is almost raped! That can become a bit.. annoying) is supposed to save the world, is supposed to change the hearts of the ones around her and of course: She is only 15 years old. Say ‘hello’ to Miyaka. The cow of this anime.

The side characters are as stupid as ever. We have for example the Tensai kid, but he is just worthless. Despite his tensainess, he has only succeeded in doing a good thing for one time and he even let himself be possesed. If that is a tensai, then there are a lot of miracles that I don’t know of. And that’s the problem with all of the characters! We’ve only seen the cast of four people, and the rest hasn’t got a personality, and is the stereotype of the his part. It’s a bit weird because we have something like 16 characters, and only four are lightened out. And also, when characters die, ten episodes later, they are already forgotten. That was too stupid. The badguys are as corny as ever, because this idiot wants to be a god of himself. How corny can be your reason? He manipulates everyone for it, and everyone buys it.

The plot of Fushigi Yuugi is also a really stupid one. We have the normal schoolgirls, and they are sucked into a book and become priestesses to summon some weird gods. The maincharacter leads a happy live, gets a boyfriend and a lot of friends. The other one doesn’t. She comes in the enemy country of Miaka, and is convinced that she is raped. Because of that, she tries to blame it all on Miyaka and the two of them become enemies. Really nice reasons, though. Yui doesn’t realize that you have to be a virgin to summon a God, so it was a bit weird to see her like that. It can be understandable, but the fact remains that she has lost her sence to think, and forgets that her friend Miyaka crosses the country of the enemy, almost gets killed a couple of times to see her friend again. And still Yui tries to blame Miyaka for what all happened. The real badguy is just a badguy because he is a badguy. He hasn’t real motives except the fact that he of course wants to be a god himself and wants to rule some people. He manipulates and everything what he has done in this anime, is according his plan. This makes the goodguys even more stupid because they come with NO strategy at all (and they even have a tensai kid among them..). In fact, the only one who comes with plans is Miss Brainless herself, and her plans are SO stupid you can’t even imagine.

Fushigi Yuui is so predictable and SO stupid that it becomes laughable. People walk into each other for no reason at all and that happens a lot. You already know what is going to happen, every time as Miyaka needs to get saved, you can count till three and her hero stands before her.

In the first season they focus on finding all the characters and on the lovey-dovey of Tamahome and Miyaka. But the second season, that was so amazingly.. stupid. The creators tried to kill off every member in the cast, leaving only Miyaka and Yui behind. People die for no reason, families are murdered for no reason at all. But it became laughable, so laughable that I laughed myself through these episodes..^^ The deaths were SO stupid that I couldn’t stop laughing anymore. Especially the death of Nuriko was really stupid, there is NO way that he could die from a wound of his back. Especially because he jumped above his aganonist. After that we get a five minute during song and some screens of Miyaka and Nuriko shopping. That was such an unbelievable horsecrap that you can’t imagine.

I guess that Fushigi Yuugi has tried to get some fans with the character design. There are a lot of bishounen, and a lot of bishoujo’s too. Fushigi Yuugi focussed too much on the design of the characters, then on the personality of the characters. They don’t have a personality at all, and when they do have one, it’s just an stereotype and a plain character. It’s a real shame, because the creators could have done much more out of this concept, but they didn’t because they had to focus on the lovey-dovey of Miyaka and Tamahome.
Further the creators have tried to make it a comedy as well. But the humor repeats itself a numberous times, in which the humor became too forced and corny so it does no longer become any funny. The jokes are corny, and there is no originality in it.

At last, the music. Ooh the horrible music! The same tune is used in all the episodes, and that can be a real annoyance. The music is horrible, the tunes are just weird, don’t fit the atmosphere of the anime, is used a lot of times for no reason at all. The cliffhangers are also really annoying because the creators decided that every episode should end with a cliffhanger. Sometimes the cliffhangers are so stupid that I couldn’t stop laughing.

I don’t recommend Fushigi Yuugi, except those who love to watch stupid anime (remember Wolfs Rain^^). I could critizise this anime much and much more, but I guess I already made my point in this.  For the other ones: Don’t. Really. Only if you want to watch some ridiculious anime, you might like it. But this anime is so stupid, that I can’t believe that it has so much fans running along with them. Don’t watch this anime if you have just started to watch anime. It might give you a wrong image how anime is. Really. Don’t.

Jigoku Shoujo Futakamori review - 87/100

The second season of Jigoku Shoujo. We all know the concept. A website, can only be accesed at midnight, and when you enter the name of the one you hate, the one you hate will go to the hell. However, when you die, you’ll also fall into the shadows of hell. I was rather happy that this one has a second season. I felt that there were some questions left and I couldn’t get just enough of it.

And yes. The second season is different from the first. First I thought the cases would be more disturbing. But that wasn’t true. Then I thought that the cases would built on the ‘Hell Crew’. We did get more information about the Hell Crew, but not in the end of the anime. It was just to built on the climax and the plottwist. But that was a good point for me, because I was wondering in the first season how the hell crew came by Enma Ai. We get in the second season more information about that, how those persons were when they were still alive (in some cases) and how they met Enma Ai. And I found it great to see. Really.
But talking of Hell Crew characters, this season there is such a small brat. She annoyed the hell out of me in most of the episodes, she isn’t useful and her character isn’t worked out at all. She is just the annoying brat. And she can be funny calling the other members of the Hell Crew ‘baldy’ or ‘grandma’, but this can annoy after a few times. At the last episode I understood a bit why Kikuri was in the anime, but even then it was a vague reason. I think you could call Kikuri the worst point of this anime, because I can’t see the real reason for her to get such a big part.

When the first season focussed on the morals of the hotline to hell and Tsugumi and Hajime, we barely hear of them this season! Only in the last episodes. I can’t say that I didn’t miss them, but well. I can say that this anime has the best ending ever. We see case building. In the beginning, you would see that it was another case, but it kept coming worse and worse. I watched it with a sickening feeling in my head because it was becoming worse and worse with the second. My compliments to that ending, because the feeling that it all ended was even greater after that. After this I think we can consider Jigoku Shoujo as art. It was beautiful made. I was never so happy that it was over. Because I felt so sorry for the character.

Another great point of this anime is that the music even became better! I adored the first soundtrack, I worship the second. The ED is great, the OP is even greater. I loved it and it gave another turn to the anime.

Further, of course. Some of the cases are a bit weird, and not really relevant. But I can’t see for anyone who has seen the first season, shouldn’t check out the second. You won’t be dissapointed.

Ghost Hunt review - 78/100

I’m really glad that I have seen an anime like Ghost Hunt. Yeah I know, this anime has its flaws, but overall it was an really enjoyable time watching. This anime is based on several cases, and that already has an nice influence. We don’t see a regular plot, with the prelude, the coming tension and then a climax. That’s not the case here, so it’s really .. quiet to watch. Most of the time because damn it how freaky this anime can be!

The story goes like this: We have an organisation. And to put it simply: they hunt ghost. We have an really egoistic leader, Naru, of the organisation who blackmailed a highschool girl into the organisation for doing the rather useless jobs: Mai. But after the first arc she is hired because they need some people. You could say that these are the maincharacters. But after a couple of episodes, we see that Mai also has some special powers. She has foreseen dreams that mostly give a lot of information about what is going to happen. First she didn’t believe it and that was rather annoying, but after a while people also say: Go to sleep! maybe you are of some use to us! Further she is not really of great use. And she knows it, and it frustrates her. And then she does the most stupid things, because really wants to help as well. Some find it annoying that she really doesn’t do anything, I find it realistic. Mai knows she is powerless. And to put her in the maincharacter position.. It’s rather original.

The mastermind: Naru
And we have some really interesting side characters. The only problem is that we really don’t get the backgroundinformation about those dudes. They are just there, when they are needed and nothing more. That is a real shame because the characters are really interesting! We have Bou, a monk (but also plays in a rockband), a spoiled miko named Ayako, a girl named Masako who can sense spirits and a Christ who can exorcise. And don’t forget Lin. The only problem with him is that he is unsociable. They are all real nice characters. But they aren’t enough displayed on the screen. And that was a real shame, I think I might could really like some of the characters. I like unsociable characters, so I was really dissapointed that there was so little information given about Lin. For an example.

Anyway, except these points. I don’t have any complains left. I loved to watch this in the evening, it always gave me a nice atmosfere before I went to sleep. I can’t see anything negative about the tension. It is great. It’s really scary. The arcs, some are rather.. weird, and some scared the hell out of me. The difference in the cases is also really good to see. First we just have a poltergeist, after that a really scary woman, after that curses, and we end with a couple of terrifrying arcs. Litterly. You can really see they had put a lot of work in it, with reverences to ancient China and even to ancient Europe. There are not some real dumb cases in it, it’s always really intellectual. Except episode 13 but that was just a funny episode. I liked the ending too. The creators really put a nice way in it, and it wasn’t forced at all.

The art is nice, the music is fantastic. There is a lot of work put in the appearance of the characters, they wear something different every day. I loved it. Despise the flaws of Ghost Hunt, I can recommend it to everyone.

Tales of Eternia Review - 46/100

2000 years ago, a war occured two different worlds: Celestia and Infernia. It was a bloody war, and after the war was ended, the two worlds were closed for each other. Well. This does sound nice. And when you ad the fact that this anime is based on a game, and that the title is really nice, I thought: I should give it a try. A real mistake. I wish I had never said that. Our ‘heroes’ have to save this two worlds and of course they are on a journey to do so. Gosh where on earth did I hear this before? Another story of a bunch of weirdoes, ready to save the world. It sounds a little childhoodlike, and yes, how longer I watched this anime, how longer I thought this anime just looked like Pokémon. Really, there are SO many things the same! Two of the characters, Keel and Melody, have a modern version of a pokéball, with which they can summon ‘Summoning Spirit’s (a.k.a. modern pokémons). Also these ‘Summoning Spirits’ can do modern pokémonattacks like the watergun. Don’t ask me how on earth they do that, I don’t want to know.

The maincharacters are even MORE annoying! We have a girl, Farah, which is really the most annoying woman I have ever seen. Her voice is annoying, she makes annoying moves, her motives are also really annoying. It gave me a headache. And of course we have our main superhero which the notorious Sword, Rid. Of course, Rid always saves the day. How ordinary.

You might think we would see the adventures of these ‘young heroes’, but most of the time we see them celebrating the holiday on a Hawaii look a like island. That was even more annoying. I would love to see more fantasy like creatures, but I was really dissapointed in this aspect. True, I saw some, but they were slaughtered, not strong enough and it was all in vain. They are stuck on that beautiful island with weird people. And that’s what this anime is about. Untill we reach the climax with episode 9. This is so overdramatically that it made me laugh so hard and so loud that I didn’t notice the real drama behind it. The people from the island are really people from the other world, who are too stuck on the island and they are out on revenge. MUAHHAHAA. This also can sound good on paper, but in the anime: None of them really dies. None of them really gets hurt, and it’s just.. nothing. I mean, for gods sake! Someone crashed with a ufo into the enemy to save the others, and she doesn’t even die! How corny you can get. If someone sacrifises herself, make her die then. It looked so fake. Meanwhile, the climax is getting worse and worse. I don’t know if anyone who reads this has seen the Excel Saga. Well. I did. And after that, I have never watched a common anime climax ever since without laughing. And also here. It made me laugh so hard that I even expected the ’Puchuus’ to show up. The last episodes, even the translator got sick of it, and decided to add some sarcastic comments as well. This made the fun even more hilarious to me!

To put it shorly: This is an anime, made for children. You can really see the moral standing behind it, trying to teach this children a lession about revenge and forgiving people. That really can be nice. But it doesn’t work. Because it isn’t realistic anymore. This is an annoying anime about a bunch of teenagers with nice powers, celebrating their holiday. And don’t forget: This is a really silly anime. I recommend this to anyone who is locked into a dark room for a long period with a computer and connected to the internet and sick with boredom.

Simoun review - 94/100

Simoun is a weird anime. Not because the anime itself is weird, no, because I decided a long time ago to drop it. Yes, after watching episode one in the Spring Season, I decided that I didn’t want to know anything else about that. That was an incredible mistake. Because, it turned out to be quite good! This Month, I decided once again to watch the first and second episode again, and I came to a discovery: the second episode is so incredibly good that I really got attached to this anime already. After that, we have some weak episodes, but when episode 10 comes, the fun really begins. And it’s getting better and better! I have one advice for everyone: Shut up and watch.

What is also the weird thing about Simoun is that you can’t describe it in a few words. I mean, this anime has yuri’s, it has feminism, it has war, it has science fiction, it has religion, it has heavy drama and so on. The nice thing about this anime is that it only conclude females. And the males that are in the anime, look like females as well. In this anime it’s so that every one is born as a woman and when people turn into 19, they can choose their gender. Unless you are a priesteress.

The character cast is just simply amazing. Of course, they are priesteress and they fly in the Simouns. We have something like 15 characters, and every character has a story of her own. As priesteress, they fly in the Simoun, which are considered as holy creatures, given by god. But they can also do remergions. A remergion is a drawn line in the sky, and when it’s done the right way, it explodes. The priesteress fight in the war, and they killed so many. This also gives in the question if it is good to fight this way.

Anyway, with the characters on the battlefield and everyone with a different story, it can go really dramaticly sometimes. We see people break down, completly, and it’s al so nice done that I couldn’t help feeling sorry for them as well. And yes, this anime made me cry. Once again. There aren’t a lot anime that can make me cry, but episode 19 really had me there. The main characters are also really, really nice. The ending really gave me a warm feeling. It was a great ending. In most of the anime, creators try to give it one more time and give everything they have in action or something like that. This action came in episode 22. After that, nothing much happens. But damn it, wat a great ending!

The art is INCREDIBLE, I’m addicted to the music, so the only thing I can say after this is: Shut up and watch. It will satisfy you, Simoun is a great anime that deserves to be in the spotlights.

Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha review - 60/100

Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha is a quite interesting anime. The one moment I was really pleased that I saw it, the other moment I was annoyed as hell because of it. The plot is something like this: the elementary school attender Nanoha, on one day she finds a ferret. The ferret has a jewel on his neck and it appears to be the form of a mage that asks Nanoha to help him out. Nanoha accepts and that’s how she turned into a magic girl. She appears to be really good at it (Gosh, where did I hear this before?) and she decides to help Yuuno (the ferret) out of his problems. His job is to find Jewel Seeds, some magic stone and when it’s activated, its power is huge and it’s even dangerous. Yuuno isn’t that good in magic, so he is really glad for Nanoha to help him out. Of course, we have the bad guys. Fate. The girl that wants to have the Jewel Seeds because her mother asks for them. That mother is one crazy bitch, that’s for sure. I felt really for Fate. Fate almost seems desperate and Nanoha wants to become friends with her. This sounds nice on paper, but in the anime, it’s most of the time failing.

Why? Because Nanoha is overdramatic about everything and everything is recapped as well. It’s just a bit annoying with all those cheesy lines all the time. The friends of Nanoha, that’s even worse! When you think that Nanoha is cheesy, wait ’till you meet those girls. Damn it those two are dramaticly. And Nanoha has a weird defenition of the word friendship. Really, she has. Another problem I have with this anime is that kids from the kindergarten save the world. Bit weird though. They don’t seem like elementary school students at all, but they are! And the power of those ‘wands’ is a bit too strong sometimes. But it’s funny.^_^

Further the character cast is nicely done. Chrono was really funny and Yuuno was even more hilarious sometimes. And Amy, she was great. Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha can be good if they don’t take themselve seriously. More anime should do this.

I haven’t checked it yet, but this anime looks like a high budget anime for children that can be too dramaticly for their genre. The art is really nice, the music sucks (don’t EVER listen to the ED, you’ll get a headache) but they all have to learn on their English skills.

In a summary: Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha is an anime with a ridicilious long name and it is nice overall, but it’s has a lot of flaws. And Nanoha is just an annoying little brat. Fate is nice. I recommend everyone who is bored and who loves mahou anime. And for the weirdos that are among us.

Good Witch of the West Review - 78/100

This is a decent anime. But even so, I don’t know where I should start in reviewing. This anime with his 13 episodes, it’s short. Maybe, too short. Because of that, the anime has a real high pacing to go to all the episodes. With that, you can miss information and the story doesn’t make any sence anymore. There are all kinds of weird terms that even I can’t understand what on earth they are meant by it.  You can say that this anime has his good points and his bad points. I recommend this anime for everyone that wants to look at a great art anime. This anime has the beautiful art ever and it really shines in it. The colors are bright, many colors and it’s just beautiful.

This is a romance fantasy anime, with political influences. The story is about the young girl Firiel that has the right to become the next queen of a land that has a difficult name. And she is in love with a heathen that studies all kinds of sciences. The good thing about this boy, Roux, is that he has glasses. And that he can be seen as the greatest nerd ever, but even so, he remains her hero and he keeps on saving her and saving her. That is so cool. I’m a glasseswearer myself, and because of that, I’m called a nerd. He is so a nerd, but even so, the nerd is the hero. I just love that.

The major bad point for me in this anime is that the two maincharacters, Roux and Firiel, are the biggest adolescences ever when it comes to hold their relationship together. It can get a bit TOO annoyed in the end but finally they make up one episode before this anime ends. But I had really my annoynce tested with this anime. But even so, all the characters of this anime are greatly thought about it, and they have all their own story.

But, the music of this anime makes up for the adolescence thing. The music is just beautiful and can give a great point also for this anime. My thumbs up! The tension is created just by the music and you can really feel the atmosphere about it. Well, to put it together, everyone that wants to see a great fantasy story with romance, watch it, but pay attention because otherwhise you won’t be able to understand it. And everyone that can watch teenager love. I just can’t.^^

Wolf’s Rain review - 45/100

Just a moment ago I finished this anime. An interesting note with that is that I started to watch this in Februar. It’s August by now. That means it took me half a year to get to watch it. And don’t get me wrong, this is not due to the problem of slow subbers. No, it’s because I couldn’t watch more then 3 episodes in the month. This month I have the record of 10 episodes. Hoorray for me. Anyway, the side note. Wolf’s Rain is well, you could call it quite interesting. The plot is something weird as well. According to this anime, humans are born out of wolfs. Yes. Wolfs are supposed to be death for 200 years, and there was no survival. Yes. But wait, there are! Those wolfs that are remained left, are heading for Paradise. A place only wolfs can open. Yes. With those quest, they need a Flower Girl (once again, Yes), that can talk and can sing and looks just like a human. Oh btw, wolfs are deceiving humans. Every wolf in this anime has two artstyles: One human, and one wolf. Then I keep on wondering.. How on earth this those wolfs get those shoes? If they are in the wolf form, do they have the shoes left? Because when they turn back, they have the shoes. But they don’t when they are wolfs. Just a small note. This may look good on paper, but this anime fails and fails.

The biggest problem in this anime is that the creators tried to experiment with the word ‘coincidence’. People or wolfs keep on running in to each other with NO reason at all. And this happens every episode, at least 5 times. And the fun continues! The creators meant all this horse crap serious. Even the lovers. This even becomes laughable at one moment, the legendary scene of a beautiful woman and a beautiful men running around happily in a flowerfeild. And this is meant serious. I don’t know if anyone here has ever watched Excel Saga? Well, watch that before you watch this because it will make this anime a lot more fun.^^ (I talk about episode 22, with the alien that reminded Hyatt when they were small, the same thing, only meant serious.) I would also like to know how on earth those wolfs can jump a distance of 30 meters without any problem. If anyone has the answer, please tell me.^^ Those wolfs are just as fast when they are running for like a month, without much food and drink, and they are moving just as fast as the space ships of the badguys. Yeah. There are a lot of mistakes in this anime. Wolfs get shot for really no reason and the next episode they are just as jumpy as always and like nothing happened. For one example.

And I haven’t even started about the predictability-level of this anime. Every episode you know what’s going to happen. At least 5 minutes before it actually happens. This can be a lot of fun, I have to say that. Episode 11 really made it laugh by it, that was the worst.

Also, the main characters. We have the lonely silent though dude, of course the annoying little brat (that really annoyed the hell out of me with his whining), the carefree guy and the punk. All of them are stupid enough to take the flower girl that needs water and light to survive to the ’Forest of Death’ (corny, isn’t it?), a place that has no water and no light, and are suprised afterwords that she almost died. That was the most stupid scene ever. And don’t get me started about the giant half blinded Walrus and the annoying know-it-all Owl. That was .. stupid. The side characters are interesting as well, an old man with a dog that hunts for wolfs because he hates them. The ironic part is that his dog is in fact, a wolf. Of course. We also have the work-a-holic woman and the divorced man of her. Duuuh. The reason that I couldn’t watch more then 3 episodes in the month is because of the old man because he can give me headache with his whining and drinking.

O btw, this anime has the record of not one, not two, not three, but 4 frigging recap episode. I really recommend to anyone to skip episode 15 untill episode 19. Or, start to watch episode 15 and skip the frigging rest that went before it. You won’t miss anything. Then the fun and the drama continues. The drama is btw really heavy, but it is so stupid sometimes that I really laugh about it.

But I have to say that when episode 27 comes that everything takes a weird turn. My explination for it is that the creators finally realised that every character had to die at least one time in the anime because he got hurt or shot or something, and the creators try to make up for it to kill off more then the half of the cast. For really no reason at all. That was also interesting. Episode 27, 28 and 29 are better written then the rest, untill you slap yourself on the forehead once again because you find out the direction the anime is going for the end. That is the most corny end ever.

Another small notes, this is a high-budget anime. The art looks nice, the music is nice. But I have to get over the scene where two parties killed of eachother and the last guy standing was killed by an armoury. Or so it looked. There are a lot of more mistakes during this anime, but I won’t name them all. I recommend this anime for one that wants to critize an anime, and for one that likes highlighted anime. And for one that is bored.

Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu Final review - 80/100

They just can’t put an ending to this anime. Not that I’m complaining, but this Final, it could have been better. But even so, it was a great time watching. This version is only 7 episodes, and the weirdness continues. Of course, they are going to the city and Hale falls in love, with the nicest hypocrit girl.^^ At home, of course he has to explain to a REALLY upset Mari and the killer Yumi-sensei. And the rest of the episode, it goes and it goes.

We have the Father-Son relationship more at light, and that was really funny, the ending of the Yumi-loves-Hale-Arc, finding the kidnapped brother arc, of course, the continuation of the chest hair. And it goes on and on. The problem is that this continuation more serious is then Guu Deluxe. It was fun too, but well, Guu joking is so more fun. Robert was this version brilliant btw.

I really liked the last episode, because there you can see that this is not the end of ‘Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu’. Namely: Weda is in the will of her father and she inhereted the whole fortune. So, her brother and sister were furious, so they targeted her. And Robert came, and it was just too weird. Especially with the assisant number one. I don’t want to spoil the fun, but metamorphoses can have a limit. Not here, though. The big cliffhanger was that Weda, Guu and Hale went to the city, to handle the brother and sister themself. Or, that’s Weda’s plan. Hale is just scared.^^

I’m looking forward to the coming arc, this can be fun.

Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu Deluxe review - 84/100

The continuation of Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu. This version only has 6 episodes, and that was the biggest problem with this anime for me. For the rest, I can not say different than anybody who loved Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu also will adore the Deluxe version.

The story line with this version of Guu is the coming. Weda is pregnant. And we can all guess of who. And they are getting married. And of course, we have the reactions of Hale and so on. The six episodes are not all focussed on that, Weda has the baby in episode four, they are getting married in episode two, and the rest focus on the normal things: Chourou, Mari that wants Hale to like her and my favourite: Dama. She is WONDERFUL scary this anime. Also the time that Hale got drunk was nice to see.^^

The other thing that’s a little suprisingly is that Guu is far more sympathic this anime. In the version of Guu she was sometimes mean to him, but even now, she saves Dama! It’s so great to watch, even Guu can be weird, she is still a great person, but she just loves to have fun.

More can’t be said about this anime because the lack of episodes, just watch it if you loved Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu!

Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu review - 88/100

The jungle has always been nice, and then came Guu.

Name: Weda.
Age: 25
Likes: Binge drinking, alcohol, alcohol, sleeping, alcohol, more alcohol and being childish, letting her son doing all the housework.
Dislikes: Work.
Rest: She came to the jungle when she was fourteen. She came from the city, lived in a rich family, but got pregnant, and her father rejected her and she went to the jungle.

On a day, the mother Weda brought to her and her son a girl that she found. The girl has no parents left and is allowed to live with Hale and Weda.

Meet Guu! The first day that she arrived, was just like heaven for the son. You have to face, Guu is very cute. They play some games and after a good day, Hale and Guu are going to sleep. The next day, when Hale wakes up, we see Guu once more.

Name: Guu
Age: Unknown.
Likes: ‘eating unusual stuff’, tormenting Hale, giving Hale a nervesbreakdown, irritating Hale, picking on Hale, confuses Hale, making Hale worry about a lot of things and making the situation even worse.
Dislikes: Unknown.
Rest: She has a big, great stomach, and some ’strange’ power.
Human: Unknown.

Name: Hale
Age: 11
Likes: Normal things, normal games, normal people, normal schools, normal homework, normal mothers, normal fathers, normal friends.
Dislikes: Weird things, weird games, weird people, weird schools, weird homework, weird mothers, weird fathers, weird friends, his father, cold.
Rest: Hale can be a bit rashly sometimes. He reacts too quick, which makes him an easy target for Guu.

When Hale found out about the other things about Guu, his life changed. Guu is for the rest of the anime always at his side, doing the most stupidest things ever, just to annoy Hale. And when I mean that, I mean everything! Guu has some times the tension to eat everything she sees, including Hale, and spit him out afterwords. Hale has so much to worry about, that it’s driving him mad.

This is the most fun thing ever seen, I’ve laughed so much about it. The only problem is that you can’t tell anything about this. The episodes are randomn once more, it is in a jungle, in a small village, and Guu is always making some trouble.^^ But the fun thing about it is, that only Hale notices what’s wrong and tries desperatly to make it normal once more, only encouragement for Guu to make the situation even worse.^^

You have to see this! It’s brilliant. The characters are great, Guu is just brilliance, the OP is catchy, the humour is great. After a while, even a storylines appears, and it’s great once more. The only thing that bothered me in this anime, was the ending. But well, we can’t complain, after this we are going to watch Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu Deluxe, after that one we are going to watch Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu Final. I hope that some of my questions are answered there, but I think that Guu will never be explained.^^ I recommend this anime to everyone that loves a great laugh, and loves humour!

Jigoku Shoujo - 92/100

Jigoku Shoujo is one of those dramatic anime. And I can not say different then that I loved it. The plot goes like this: There is a website, and one who enters that site at midnight, and gives the name of his agonist, that person will be sent to hell. But there is a compromiss: When you enter a name, your soul will fall in hell by the time you die. Nice plot though. Every episode is with another hatred one, and with an agonist. Every time the agonist makes a beautiful fall in the hell by the Jigoku Shoujo, the Hell Girl. This Hell Girl is Enma Ai. And I love her. She is so sad, but, she is even so calm. And of course she has her helpers, the Hell Crew. Those characters I love too.

Every episode has his own drama, his own story. The stories I loved the most were the stories of episode 1, 12, 15, 16, 17, 20, 22, 23, and of course: The climax episodes. That is something I loved so much! Of course I’m not going to tell anything about that climax, because my opinion is that a climax is so much better if you don’t know what’s coming. All I will say is that the climax made me cry. Really cry. I just loved Tsugumi, Ai and Hajime. Because of the drama, and if you are moved by it, it makes a good anime. And when something really made you cry, you are so happy because you are moved that much by this.

The art of Jigoku Shoujo is one of the best arts ever. Everything is so beautiful drawn, and especially the art of Ai. She is such a beautiful girl. And also the sidecharacters who appear in episode 9 or something. I love them both too. Also a real pluspoint is the music. I LOOOOVE the music. It’s so Japanese-like, and still you can feel the tense in that music with the hatred and the agonists. It’s so moving, and I wouldn’t be able to be moved this much by this anime, if it wasn’t for the music. Everything just fits so perfectly.

This is my opinion about it. As some can see, I’m happy I saw this anime. I would recommend it to everyone, because this is a moving, decent (very decent) anime. If you are a human, or a alien, please watch it. You won’t be sorry.

Azumanga Daioh - 71/100

Azumanga Daioh is the anime on what Pani Poni Dash has based. For me, I’m a big fan of Pani Poni Dash, so I figured out that I should have watched this as well. This anime is about the class 1-3, the whole High School periode. In the 26 episodes that we have, we see the characters develop and grow and have fun. This sounds nice. I have only discovered two bad points about this. It’s friggin’ slow, and: it’s so normal. Even with some awesome characters, it’s still so normal, about a bunch of girls going to school. Even when I was in middle school, I had more that happened. The other thing that I was dissapointed by, was the music. But well, you can’t have everything, because I’ve wanted to see a decent school anime since I’ve dropped the amazingly garbage School Rumble.

The characters are sometimes really annoying, or they are cute, or they are awesome. The two that I really liked were Chiyo-chan and Osaka.

I told you, they are great. This after the moment that Osaka lost her shoe, because she threw it away. Chiyo is a prodigy, she is 10 years old when we meet her. And she is just incredibly smart and cute. Osaka is the nickname of the girl whose real name I’ve already forgot, and she is just so slow, and so weird. She has a really slow thinking proces, and everything she does is either slow, or it’s weird. Like the time that she wanted to wake up Yukari, that was just pure brilliance. The other characters are just plain. And one is so annoying that I won’t even mention her. The diet-girl, we have too, we have the coollookingcatlover, and the sporter. Plainlooking, I know.

But don’t forget the teachers! Nyamo and Yukari. They know each other from High School, but I have to say that Yukari is just a weirdo. She is childish, doesn’t like to take responsibility, hates to lose, and doesn’t want to work. She wants to drink.

Like I said. The other is trying to keep control about her friend, but she fails completly. Especially when Yukari reminds her that Nyamo is single and so on. It’s really funny to see, because sometimes there can really be a competition between the two, deciding who’s greater then the other one.

Further, this is a normal anime, with funny moments. Almost all the characters are nice, but there is a lot of repeatment, and a lot of boredom. But some moments make up for the whole anime. I recommend this anime to everyone just to check out Osaka. She is the saver of this anime, and she is such an idiot that everybody must like her.

Jyu Oh Sei - 65/100

Well. Well. Well. We have the first real anime which I was so enthousiastic about, untill episode 7. We could say that Karin spoiled the fun. The twinbrothers Thor and Rai, after discovering that their parents are killed, are sent to a unknown planet, where plants rule and killing is a common sence. They have to be though to survive, and the fact that the two are twins, doesn’t mean that they both are the same. No, Rai is weak, Thor is strong. And that is already decided on the age that they are both 12. Rai dies. Of course, and Thor remains on the planet to find out why his parents and his brother are killed. And to find out, he must become a Jyu Oh, king of the beast. The Planet Chimera has four Rings, with each Ring one leader, the Top. In order to become a Jyo Oh, all the Tops must be defeated and Thor must be the only one left. A kid of 12. And to pace up the anime, he has only 8 years to become a Jyu Oh. We all know that he will become a Jyu Oh, and suprisely, when he is 15. But don’t let me spoil more fun about it.

Our Maincharacter is Thor. We have two sides of the Thor: the young Thor and the adolescent Thor. I have to say that the younger version is simply brilliant. He understands his situation, he has strategy, he does everything to survive. And you don’t expect of such a small kid to conquer the worthrobe of the Ochre Ring. It was a great fight. Really. But, we have the adolescent version. And of course, he falls in love and becomes most utterly corny. It’s really a shame that it happened, I want that guy to be brilliant, not some kind of a idiot. It’s a real chance, but it’s wasted.
Our side characters are thank god a much better. At least, some of them. Chen is as boring as ever, and Zagi is so weird that even I don’t understand him and think he is a asshole, Karin sucks as well, but Tiz and Third are pure brilliance. Tiz is the sweet girl who always loved Thor and supported him, and she is so sweet, and strong. She is just one heck of a contrast, but it all gets better with it. Third is just unexplainable. Nobody can know what he thinks, but what he does, it works. And Thor always realises afterwords what is happening while Third set him up. He is just a dry guy, and I can not deny that I really laughed about it. It’s almost evil.

The drama is good, but it’s sometimes so corny. All those guys can think about is love, or having a child. None of them actually has a child, but it’s all they talk about. I don’t like that, but some of the drama, they can do that too. Let’s say it’s either good, or it’s corny.

What I really liked was the ending, how uncool is that when you find out the truth. I will remain silence about it, but it’s really something so depressing that I would have been in such a shock. And so do all of them when they find out. It’s nicely done.

In a saying, this is a decent anime, but let’s face it: Karin spoiled the fun.
